We stand today at an unprecedented turning point in human history. In recent years two versions of ancient history have formed. One, we shall call �alternative� history, the other we shall refer to as �official� history.

The former ponders over a variety of anomalies and tries to make sense out of the corpus of evidence, i.e., the pyramids and timelines, why they were built, by whom and when. The latter conducts digs, catalogues pottery shards, and tries to defend its proposal there are no enigmas, and virtually everything is explained.

At one point perhaps as late as fifteen years ago these two camps seem to be engaged in an informal dialogue.


That all changed after, 1) the Great Sphinx redating controversy caught Egyptologists off guard and, 2) the impact of Chris Dunn�s book The Giza Power Plant: Technologies of Ancient Egypt at the end of the last decade.

There is no more dialogue and no more polite, gloves on debate. The proponents of �official� history have taken an increasingly political and ideological approach to the issue. They now do little more than offer pronouncements of the historical �truth� on the one hand, and denounce of all those who dare challenge officialdom on the other.

In this context we offer evidence that our �scholars�, the gatekeepers who control our institutions of �higher learning�, refuse to consider.

The Great Pyramid � Precision Engineering
This colossal structure, the last of the seven ancient wonders and the largest stone building in the world, still provokes awe, controversy and a plethora of theories that inspire bitter debate to this day. Instead of going over the well-established mysteries, we would like to shine new light on this important enigma that appears out of place in �Stone Age� Egypt.

The real challenge the Great Pyramid still poses to us in the opening decade of the Third Millennium is the physical plant itself. Theorists have gone on endlessly speculating about how it was built and the metaphysical, cultural and religious significance and/or symbolism behind its construction. Though several authors have offered tantalising possibilities, none have been conclusively proven.

The mystery remains unsolved.

To begin with, the massive size � the staggering volume and weight of the building blocks � remain problematic. With an estimated 2.3 million blocks with a weight of about 4 million tons, the pyramid is two-thirds the mass of the Hoover Dam. The sheer size and the numbers of blocks that had to be quarried and moved into place, presents numerous architectural, construction and engineering headaches.

These issues have been raised time and again, yet are still unsettled. It is time to move on and define the even more difficult issues. We consider the core �hard� problems to be those that reflect precision engineering and assembly line manufacturing accomplished on a massive scale. The primitive tools scenario concocted by Egyptologists does not explain the following tasks:

1. Creating precision-cut casing blocks weighing 16 tons, fitted together and held by a super-glue mortar that maintained a tight seal forming a nearly seamless shell.
2. Leveling the 13-acre limestone bedrock base to a degree of accuracy only recently achieved with laser technology.
3. Squaring the base to True North with minimal deviation.
4. Excavating the �Descending Passage� 350 feet into solid bedrock at a 26-degree angle while keeping the tunnel arrow-straight for its length.
5. Bringing the massive 48-story pyramid together around complex internal structures, retaining the true shape to enable the builders to form the apex. (These internal structures include four enigmatic ventilation shafts and a coffer in the King�s Chamber that is too large to have been moved through the opening. It shows evidence of having been cut with a jewel-tip saw.)
6. Extensive usage of different types of machined granite inside the Great Pyramid chambers.

The father of modern Egyptology, Sir Flinders Petrie, marvelled at the precision and size of the casing blocks. He carefully measure the blocks and found that �the mean thickness of the joints are .020 and therefore, the mean variation of the cutting of the stone from a straight line and from a true square, is but .01 on length of 75 inches up the face, an amount of accuracy equal to most modern opticians� straight-edges of such a length.???

The modern international engineering firm of Daniel, Mann, Johnson & Menendhall conducted a forensic analysis of the Great Pyramid. Their findings are evaluated in an article published in Civil Engineering.

The pyramid was oriented with its major sides either north-south or east-west. This in itself was a remarkable undertaking, given the accuracy to which it was done, because the Egyptians had to perform the work using astronomical or solar observations � the compass had not yet been invented. The dimensions of the pyramid are extremely accurate and the site was levelled within a fraction of an inch over the entire base. This is comparable to the accuracy possible with modern construction methods and laser levelling.1

The summary speaks volumes between the lines. The problems with the Descending Passage are numerous. For starters the tunnel is less than 4 x 4 feet, enough for no more than one excavator wielding a hammer-stone at any given moment. How would our proposed digging crew negotiate the space in the suffocating darkness once they had dug down 50 feet and more? In addition how would the 26-degree angle be set and maintained without lights or levels? The lack of carbon deposits on walls and ceiling indicate that torches were not used.

Once again, Petrie measured the passage and found an amazing accuracy of .020 of an inch over 150 feet and a mere .250 inch over 350 feet of its constructed and excavated length. We submit that this passage with its smooth surfaces, squared shape, and accurate angle could not have been tunnelled with primitive tools and methods.

The Great Pyramid remains the world�s greatest wonder and ancient enigma. We suggest researchers should pay more attention to these details and ask about the materials used inside the Great Pyramid, especially near the ventilation shafts. We now have two doors blocking a very important shaft, the one that pointed to the star Sirius in 2450 BCE. The Origin Of Dogs � Biogenetic engineering
Now we turn to a mystery that nearly equals the pyramid, though it is a little known conundrum hidden in the mists of remote antiquity. Let us start with a simple question that appears to have an obvious answer: what is a dog? It turns out geneticists in the past decade have shown the answer is not so obvious. In fact, generations of anthropologists, archaeologists and wildlife biologists turned out to be dead wrong when it came to the origins of �man�s best friend???.

Prior to DNA studies conducted in the 1990s, the generally accepted theory posited that dogs branched off from a variety of wild canids, i.e., coyotes, hyenas, jackals, wolves and so on, about 15,000 years ago. The results of the first comprehensive DNA study shocked the scholarly community. The study found that all dog breeds can be traced back to wolves and not other canids. The second part of the finding was even more unexpected � the branching off occurred from 40-150,000 years ago.

Why do these findings pose a problem? We have to answer that question with another question: how were dogs bred from wolves? This is not just difficult to explain, it is impossible. Do not be fooled by the pseudo-explanations put forth by science writers that state our Stone Age ancestors befriended wolves and somehow (the procedure is never articulated) managed to breed the first mutant wolf, the mother of all dogs. Sorry, we like dogs too, but that is what a dog is.

The problems come at the crucial stage of taking a male and female wolf and getting them to produce a subspecies (assuming you could tame and interact with them at all). Let us take this one step further by returning to our original question, what is a dog? A dog is a mutated wolf that only has those characteristics of the wild parent, which humans find companionable and useful. That is an amazing fact.

Think about those statements for a moment. If you are thinking that dogs evolved naturally from wolves, that is not an option. No scientist believes that because the stringent wolf pecking order and breeding rituals would never allow a mutant to survive, at least that is one strong argument against natural evolution.

Now, if our Paleolithic ancestors could have pulled off this feat, and the actual challenges posed by the process are far more taxing, then wolf/dog breeders today certainly should have no problem duplicating it. But like the Great Pyramid, that does not seem to be the case. No breeders have stepped up to the plate claiming they can take two pure wolves and produce a dog sans biogenetic engineering techniques.

The evolution of the domesticated dog from a wild pack animal appears to be a miracle! It should not have happened. This is another unexplained enigma. Mohenjo Daro � Civil Engineering
Since indoor plumbing did not arrive in modern societies to any extent until the 20th century, and urban planning has still not been adopted much to this date in history, what we find in the ancient city of Mohenjo Daro is anomalous indeed.

This city in the Indus Valley was built on a grid system about 4,500 years ago, obviously planned out and drawn up before the first brick was laid. It had houses, some with indoor plumbing, a granary, baths, an assembly hall and towers all made out of standard size bricks. The streets were about eight to ten feet wide on average, and were built with well-engineered drainage channels.

Mohenjo Daro was divided into two parts; the Citadel was on the upper level and included an elaborate tank called the Great Bath that was made of fine quality brickwork and drains. The Great Bath was 40 feet long and 8 feet deep, a huge public facility by any standards. A giant granary, a large residential building, and several assembly halls were also on this upper level.

The Great Bath was made watertight by the use of two layers of brick, lime-cement and then finally sealed with bitumen (tar). The bath included a shallow section for children.

We should wonder how an ancient culture of which nothing is known, not even their language, created this sophisticated city at a point in time many thousands of years ahead of the curve? Civil engineers do not crawl out of thatched-roof huts able to draw up plans for a complex urban environment. We need to address the following question to archaeologists and historians:

��� 1. Where are the cities that demonstrate the path of urban development, social and technical organisation, leading to Mohenjo Daro?
��� 2. How do you explain the sudden emergence of a complex society when 99.99% of the rest of humanity were living primitively?

These issues cannot be brushed aside with some arrogant pretence that the questions have already been addressed and answered by digging up and labelling pottery shards and other artefacts. We have been and are being overly indulgent with our �soft sciences??? regarding their cavalier assertions about having all the answers. In fact, they have very few, so why are they throwing stones at independent researchers from behind glass towers?

Extraordinarily little is known about the Indus Valley civilisation that once spanned nearly a thousand miles with other cities matching the description of Mohenjo Daro.

We file this under our list of great enigmas and challenge orthodox scholars to prove differently as with the first two of our mysteries.

We note that the Indus Valley civilisation was contemporary with the Great Pyramid. It is often said this was one of the first three civilisations, having a written script that has never been deciphered. Now we turn next to the mother of all civilisations, Sumer. Sumeria � The Source Of Civilisation
Are we missing something or are our historians looking at our earliest civilisations through a strange and distorted lens? Like Egypt and the Indus Valley, the biblical �Land of Shinar� � the birthplace of Abraham � was a brutally hot, largely barren, empty desert with a mighty river cutting a swath through it. Does this sound like the magnet that would attract late Stone Age tribes to hunker down and pull wonders out of a hat?

In fact, historians thought Shinar was a piece of biblical fiction until the mid-19th century, but now they know everything about it with complete certitude that we, the unwashed masses, dare not question. Nonetheless, we encourage readers to maintain an attitude of healthy skepticism and dare to question �official history�.

As is the case with the culture that built the cities of the Indus Valley, no one knows who the ancient Sumerians were or where they came from. They called themselves �the black-headed ones� and spoke a strange language that was unrelated to the languages of the Semitic tribes in the region. Some linguists note a similarity between the Sumerian language and that of the Basques, another anomalous culture.

We find it curious that any primitive peoples would choose the rigours of a hostile desert environment to settle in and build a civilisation. Why not a gentle river in a forested mountain valley? Especially in light of the fact that Sumeria contained very few resources, no forests, no minerals, not even the rocks that were plentiful in Egypt.

How are we to explain the fact this mysterious culture managed to invent all of the core components of civilisation under such restrictive conditions? It occurs to us that a culture would need minerals like copper, gold, silver and tin immediately available to experiment with over the course of generations in order to create process metallurgy. There is nothing simple or accidental about making the connection between raw ores, the metals they contain, and how to reduce them out of their native state using high heat.

Nevertheless, the Sumerians not only figured out geology, how to obtained the ore, knew the levels of heat needed and how to build kilns to achieve it, they also took very different metals and created the first alloy, bronze. As metal-smiths were performing these feats, other citizens were apparently creating the wheel, building cities, ziggurats, inventing writing, movable type, the ox-drawn plow, cereal crop agriculture, and advanced mathematics, to mention the most notable of their innovations.

Something is wrong with this picture. Most human beings were counting using their fingers, if at all, hunting animals and gathering plants for their meals. Yet, we find the Sumerians in classrooms learning the principles of the sexigesimal math system. Yes, the very same 60-base system we use today to keep track of hours, minutes and seconds. This advanced system was the first to reveal that a circle has 360 degrees and can be subdivided using 60, 30, 15, 12, etc., all fractions of the root number. Teotihuac�n � Anomalous Technical Evidence
Teotihuac�n, in Mexico, is an immense, even overwhelming archaeological site, oriented along a twin axis. In the 1960s a team of archaeologists and surveyors mapped out the entire complex in great detail. The resultant map revealed an urban grid centred around two principal, almost perpendicular, alignments.

From the Pyramid of the Moon at the north end, the complex extends south along the Avenue of the Dead beyond the Ciudadela and Great Compound complexes for about 3.2 kilometres. To this north-south axis we must add an east-west alignment that led from a point near the Pyramid of the Sun to a spot of prime astronomical significance on the western horizon.

Anthony Aveni, an astronomer-anthropologist, discovered that on the day the Sun passes directly overhead in the spring of the Northern Hemisphere (May 18), the Pleiades star cluster makes its first annual predawn appearance. It was at this point on the western horizon that the Pleiades set, and the builders aimed the east-west axis.

Additionally, the Sun also sets at this point on the horizon on August 12 � the anniversary of the beginning of the current Mesoamerican calendar cycle (5th Sun) � determined by a consensus of academic and independent scholars to have begun on August 12, 3114 BCE.

It is very clear Teotihuac�n was laid out according to a set of alignments that reflected celestial, geographic, as well as geodetic relationships. Walking along the avenue from one pyramid to another, up the steps to the top, and surveying the site from a multitude of angles, one is struck by the sense of being in the middle of some vast geometric matrix.

Teotihuac�n was the first true urban centre in the Americas. At its peak around 500 CE, it boasted a population of an estimated 200,000. George E. Stuart, archaeologist and the editor of National Geographic magazine sums up our ignorance:

We speak of it with awe, as we do the pyramids of Egypt, but we still know next to nothing about the origins of the Teotihuac�nos, what language they spoke, how their society was organised, and what caused their decline.2

As for one the most anomalous of artefacts on the planet, in the 1900s archaeologists discovered a sheet of mica in the upper tiers of the Pyramid of the Sun. This was no ho-hum pottery shard to catalogue and file away in a dusty box, yet that is about how archaeologists treated the find. To anyone with even a smattering of technical knowledge, discovering a large sheet of mica in an ancient pyramid site comes as a shock. In fact, it is one of the great �smoking guns� that turn archaeologists mum.

Mica is an inflammable and non-conductive mineral that grows in fairly weak plate-like structures. It is not at all useful as a structural building material. NASA uses it as a radiation shield in space vehicles. Mica is also utilised in electronic components and microwave ovens, and it is a good shield for electromagnetic radiation, like radio waves. Like the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of the Sun has a subterranean cavity under the middle of the pyramid. A large pyramid with layers of thick mica would be an excellent EMI shield.

Its placement in the complex raises questions that we could only answer today after the development of electronic, atomic and space age technologies.

Thick sheets of mica were also found by archaeologists about 400 meters down the avenue from the Sun Pyramid, these precision-cut sheets were of considerable size: 27.5 meters square. They were located under a rock-slab floor of a complex now called �the Mica Temple???.

What possible reason could the builders have had for including a layer of mica in any structure? It was obviously not decorative. To add greatly to the growing mystery, the particular mica used was traced to Brazil. Now we are getting in deep. How would a supposedly indigenous �Stone Age??? culture know that mica existed 3200 kilometres away in the jungles of Brazil? Not only that, how did they transport these large sheets over that long distance intact without wheeled vehicles? Surely not via relay teams on foot travelling overland! No large seagoing boats or ports have ever been found in ancient Mexico. High Technology In Stone Age Peru
Lake Titicaca borders Bolivia and Peru in the Andes. The highest large lake in the world, there are many signs it was once exposed to the ocean. Megalithic structures like the Gateway of the Sun in Tiahuanacu, Bolivia, also indicate a long lost past. The gateway was carved out of one solid block, the hard way to make a gate.

Moving northward near Cuzco, Peru, we find even more large, impressive and mysterious structures. Here we find walls built with complex jigsaw type megalithic blocks similar to the more familiar walls found at nearby Machu Picchu. Some of the megalithic structures contain complex cut-rocks weighing over 100 tons; a few were joined together by bronze clamps. Some of the bronze had obviously been poured in place, a skill not available in pre-Columbian Peru.

Like Sumer, the high Andes is an unlikely location for Stone Age cities, evidence of advanced technologies, and seminal agricultural discoveries. It is well established that the region around Tiahuanco, at 12,500 feet elevation, had been turned into a highly productive agricultural zone. That was achieved by the building of dikes, dams, canals and raised beds that created microclimates which protected the plants from frost.

It was on the banks of the Savannah River in Allendale County where Al Goodyear in 2004 found the clues of an ancient civilization that could rewrite the history books.

The University of South Carolina archaeologist and a group of volunteers unearthed artifacts estimated to be 50,000 years old, implying humans lived on this continent before the last Ice Age, far earlier than previously believed.

They uncovered what appeared to be cutting tools and stone chisels used by humans that existed an estimated 37,000 years before the earliest-known inhabitants, known as the Clovis culture. It was a discovery that rocked the archaeological community and generated international media attention.

To date, it's the oldest radiocarbon-dated site in North America, Goodyear said.

"The entire Western Hemisphere is coming under closer scrutiny," Goodyear said. "Everything that I was taught as a student is breaking down rapidly."

For decades, the Clovis culture has been recognized as the oldest in the New World. Goodyear discovered evidence of the Clovis at what's called the "Topper site" more than 20 years ago, when he and a researcher found a fluted spear point, the signature tool of the culture.

Then, in 1998, Goodyear decided to dig deeper. He and a rotating group of scientists and volunteers uncovered evidence of a pre-Clovis culture well below the level at which the Clovis artifacts were found.

In 2004, they uncovered artifacts about 12 feet underground -- about seven feet below the Clovis finds.

Goodyear and his group will be back in May for five weeks, offering volunteers the opportunity to work alongside archaeologists and researchers in their quest to debunk the long-held theory that man arrived in North America around 13,000 years ago.

Hilton Head Island resident Jean Guilleux, 64, has assisted Goodyear and his crews for the past five years and plans to volunteer for the May dig.

"After I retired, I became fascinated with archaeology and decided to go and get my hands dirty," he said. "After the first dig, I was hooked."

Guilleux, who is also the president of the Hilton Head chapter of the Archaeological Association of South Carolina, said he's "done it all" at the digs. He's specialized on the pre-Clovis digs for the last three years, digging soil, sifting for artifacts and watching scientists test their finds in the lab.

"It's absolutely fantastic," he said.

An extraordinary and controversial milieu has developed around events that reportedly began late on the evening of Thursday, October 4, 2001, at a Gundiah property near Tiaro, culminating in the early hours of Friday, October 5, 2001, and then played out in the glare of rapidly escalating media coverage.

Three people were directly involved in these alleged events. Keith Rylance (39), his wife Amy (22), and their business partner, Petra Heller (35) were on their property, which was being developed as "Whispering Winds" winery. Other potential activities were also being developed at the location. The following account comes from interviews conducted by us with them, along with primary source material such as TV interviews.

Keith Rylance told us that he had gone to sleep in the caravan bedroom at about 9.30 pm. Petra retired to her bedroom in the caravan annex. Amy stayed on a couch watching TV in the caravan annex "lounge room". Each of these locations were in close proximity, separated by a window and wall respectively from the lounge room. Petra's room had a door leading to the lounge room, which was left ajar. The door to the bedroom, where Keith was, apparently was open to the lounge room. Amy apparently fell asleep on the couch. A storm was in the area.

Around 11.15 pm, Petra was reportedly woken up and when she entered the adjacent lounge was confronted by an extraordinary sight, that allegedly quickly overwhelmed her. A rectangular beam of light was being projected through the open window of the caravan lounge room. This light beam appeared to be truncated at the end. Inside the beam Petra claims to have seen Amy in a sleep prone position, being carried out head first through the window. Underneath her, also within the beam were the items that had been on the coffee table adjacent to the couch Amy had been on. Before apparently fainting in shock Petra saw that the beam was coming from a disc shaped UFO hovering just above the ground a short distance away, near a tree at the rear of the clear section, immediately behind the annex caravan house.

Petra reports she believes she was only in a faint for a very short period of time. Regaining consciousness, she began screaming. Keith reports that he was awoken by the commotion coming from Petra. As he came from the caravan bedroom and stepped down into the lounge room annex Keith claims he was confronted by the sight of a highly agitated Petra and the contents of the coffee table on the floor in front of the window. He told us that he soon realised that the window screen was torn in both a vertical fashion and along the bottom of the window frame. Keith indicated that initially he couldn't get any sense out of Petra who was crying and very agitated, so he rushed outside trying to locate Amy.

She was reportedly nowhere to be found. Keith states when he started to be less agitated himself he was eventually able to get from Petra an idea of what happened. Keith claims he initially refused to believe what Petra was telling him. He said he rushed outside again trying to find his wife. Eventually as the situation became clearer, Keith indicates he decided to call the police.

Keith call the Tiaro police around 11.40 pm reporting that his wife had been abducted and imploring that the police should come out. The manning status at that time meant there were some delays in the police coming out, but about hour and a half after the initial call Senior Constable Robert Maragna from Tiaro and an officer from Maryborough arrived at the site. Initially police thought they might have been walking into a situation involving foul play, even perhaps a murder scene, but then the bizarre circumstances of the alleged events came into focus. The two people, Keith and Petra, at the Gundiah property were claiming that Amy Rylance had been abducted by a "spaceship"! The officers were struggling to keep an open mind.

They were joined later by Sgt. John Bosnjak, the officer in charge of the Tiaro police. He had been asleep when the police called him to assist in the investigation. The three officers continued their investigations at the site. They confirmed that Keith Rylance and Petra Heller appeared to be in an agitated state and that there was no sign of Amy Rylance. The torn screen was examined. A flowering bush, commonly known as "yesterday, today, tomorrow" was located immediately outside the left side of window, had indications of possibly being affected by heat or another mechanism along its right side. Oddly another flowering bush, a hibiscus, located immediately on the right hand side of the window area was not affected in the same way. The police took samples for possible later testing.

While the police were at the property, a phone call came through, which was taken by Keith Rylance. A woman was calling from Mackay indicating that she had taken a somewhat distressed and apparently dehydrated young woman from a BP petrol service station on the northern outskirts of central Queensland city of Mackay, some 790 kilometres to the north of the Gundiah - Tiaro area.

The young woman turned out to be Amy Rylance, and the female caller was ringing to advise that Amy was apparently all right and was at the Mackay hospital, where she had been examined by a doctor. Keith handed the phone to Snr. Constable Marangna.

Given these extraordinary circumstances Mackay police were called in, making a total of three police stations involved in the investigation -Tiaro, on outskirts of central Qeensland, Maryborough on the coast and Mackay, some 790 kilometres to the north of the Gundiah - Tiaro area.

A statement was notarised by the Mackay police with a Justice Act acknowledgement, that required Amy to acknowledge that she had stated was true to the best of her knowledge and belief, and that if it is admitted as evidence, that she may be liable to prosecution if she had indicated anything in it that she knew was false.

This statement indicated that she last only recollected lying on the couch at the Gundiah property. She had no recollection of the events that Petra described, but claimed she then next remembered waking up lying on a bench in a strange rectangular room. illumination came from the walls and the ceiling. She was alone. She indicated she called out and heard what seemed to be a male voice, asking her to be calm and that everything would be alright and that she would not be harmed. Soon an opening appeared in the wall and "a guy" about 6 feet tall walked into the room.

The man appeared to be slender in build but in perfect proportion, covered head to foot in a full body suit. He had what seemed to be a black covering mask on his face, with a hole for his eyes, nose and mouth. He repeated his calming assurances. Amy felt she had been there a while. The guy told her they were returning her to a place not far from where they took her from, because the lights were wrong at the property and it wasn't safe. She then indicates she found herself lying on the bed and falling asleep.

The next thing she recollects is that she woke up on the ground with trees around her. She felt disorientated, could smell the ocean, and indicated she was not sure how long she tumbled through bushland, but seemingly it was for a long time, but she felt she wasn't making much progress. She then came out onto a road that looked like a highway and saw a light from a petrol station. She walked into the station, where staff seeing her state, tried to offer some assistance.

She accepted some water, as she felt somewhat dehydrated. Initially she was not able to answer identifying questions, and didn't know where she was. She was also asked if she had been drinking or was on drugs, to which she said no. Amy indicated she felt tired, sore, drained and lethargic. She asked a woman at the service station to take her to the hospital, as she didn't know of where else to go. The woman and her friend took Amy to the hospital. Later Amy spoke with two police officers and also spoke with her husband Keith from the hospital. She then went to Mackay police station where she gave the statement of events. Amy also indicated that this sort of thing had never happened to her before, but when she was in fifth year school she had seen a large UFO surrounded by smaller objects.

The police arranged to put Amy in a motel pending the arrival of her husband. He and Petra arrived during the day and indicated they spent considerable time with Amy discussing what happen. Extensive notes were apparently made and photographs were taken of a triangular arrangement of marks on her inner right thigh, marks on each heel and the growing out of her hair which she had dyed earlier in the week. Her hair had apparently started to show her former colour, suggestive that some considerable time had passed for her, apparently indicative of rather more than a few hours. Body hair had allegedly also become somewhat more pronounced that would otherwise would be apparent for the short time involved. Via an Newsagent's a copy of the Australian Ufologist magazine was purchased, Keith, Petra and Amy started to learn more about UFOs. Keith Rylance contacted the Australian UFO Research Network office number mentioned in the magazine. Diane Harrison took the call Date: Fri, 5 Oct 2001 15:20 p.m and for the next hour or so listened to the story that Keith and Amy told. Petra was apparently sleeping at the time.

Given the nature of the story, its complexity and the fact it apparently featured the alleged use of "solid light", Diane decide to bring Bill Chalker into the investigation, making contact with him during the evening of Friday, October 5. Paradoxically Bill was scheduled to talk at a Brisbane UFO conference on October 13, and his topics included "solid light" cases and the application of science to alien abduction cases. Bill put a call through to them at the motel, securing permission to record the conversation. Once again Petra was not available to talk about her part in the alleged events. Keith Rylance went into considerable detail about the events, referring often to the notes they had apparently been compiling during the day. The details described covered the events Petra had witnessed, what Keith had experienced, and what Amy told them had happened to her during her experience. Finally Bill spoke with Amy, focusing mainly on the events before and after the claimed on board experiences, because Keith had already gone into considerable detail about the latter.

Bill discussed with Amy her general responses and her physical state and her current state of thought on her experiences. Keith Rylance seemed to want to control how both media and investigators would get involved. His desire to contact the media promptly drew from both Diane and Bill the suggestion that he should think very carefully about the possible ramifications of doing so. Keith seemed to feel that it was important to get the story out, as it would come out anyway and this way he could control the way it did. He was also trying to restrict the way the investigators could or should look into their experience. He claimed they didn't need to proof the experience. While he didn't directly witness the experiences he believed both Amy and Petra.

Given the possible nature of the event, and that irrespective of the ultimate resolution of the affair, it seemed destined to be a big story, Diane and Bill decided to undertake an investigation. They had been given an indication from Keith Rylance that the three would wait for the investigators to come to Mackay. The claimants were in no apparent hurry to return to Gundiah. They gave permission for Bill and Diane to visit the property on the way. Bill arrived in the Brisbane area on Tuesday afternoon, October 9.

Diane and Bill then travelled to Gundiah, arriving at the Whispering Winds winery property, just after 10 pm. Because of the lateness of the hour, we got the witnesses permission to stay there overnight and to conduct whatever investigation we needed to do. Keith had arranged for a neighbour to regularly check on the two pets left behind, namely a parrot and a kelpie dog. He indicated to us that it would be okay to let the dog off for a run, but warned us it was very friendly but inclined to jump all over people. We let the dog off at some point and observed its behaviour. At one point it did jump up on the window where the damaged screen was located. This gave some support to the possibility that at least some, if not all of the damage, could have been caused by the dog. Some of the damage on closer inspection seemed suggestive of possible dog damage. Our inspection of the plant damage also suggested possible prosaic causes, such as heat stress. A plant at the front of the house had similar damage and a healthy flowering bush of the same species that was at the window, was examined by us at Mount Basset lawn cemetery has similar damaged.

A gardener there we spoke to indicated that the species often had random or more extensive damage of a heat stress nature from hot sunlight. The prosaic possibilities for both the screen and the plant damage are only suggestive at this point and further investigation is required. We undertook extensive investigations at the property and the area. Police were very helpful. Our investigation generated many issues and questions, which we feel need resolution, in order to assist interpretations of these events. Further extensive investigations were undertaken in Mackay, focusing in particular at the area where Amy Rylance returned.

These included attempts to reconstruct the circumstances of Amy's return, through on site research. The BP petrol service station staff were spoken with and a surveillance video tape that may contain Amy's visit there was provided to us by the station owner. This part of our investigation also generated many issues and questions that need resolution if we are to approach any measure of certainty about the real nature of the events alleged.

Keith Rylance indicated to us he would be available to us when we got to Mackay, but it was made clear to us early on the first day of our investigations there that this wasn't probably going to be the case. When we contacted the motel where they had been the night before, their third motel in Mackay, we learned they had apparently already checked out that morning. We left messages on their phone but didn't hear from Keith until early on the afternoon of our second day, as we were leaving Mackay. In his mobile call, Keith apologised for not being available, but was indicating they had relocated to an unspecified location after having fled the area.

The primary reason for this Keith indicated was that they claimed they had a kind of "men-in-black" experience. In this case Keith was reporting a pursuit of their vehicle by a high powered dark brown 4 wheel truck. The nature of this event apparently frightened Keith, Amy and Petra, prompting Keith to attempt to loose the vehicle and eventually leave the area.

Before the completion of this preliminary report (14 October) we have heard from Keith again. We remain hopeful that they will get into more direct contact with us. This affair is both extraordinary and controversial. Many have rushed to judgement, but given it's complex and evolving dynamics, caution and patience is necessary. We have many issues and questions we would like to try to resolve. Further contact with the Rylances and Petra Heller may help this process. The case is far from closed and requires an objective, open-minded investigation. Only time will give us the possibility of resolution and certainty about this intriguing but controversial affair.

Starting Off

This essay is loosely akin to Eric von Daniken's "Chariots of Gods", as it has served to provide with the necessary details of the past that aren't easy to come by.  Chances are, the theory(ies) being presented here won't fit into your regular school of thought, therefore you are encouraged to read this article with an open mind for the proper understanding of what is being implied.
 

Is there Intelligent Life out there?

Through a small telescope, a small region of the sky shows us about 2 million stars. On average, it is estimated that there are about 10²⁰ stars. There may be even more out there. If we say that the conditions for life are around one in a thousand stars, we have 10¹⁴ stars. If one in a thousand of these have an atmosphere suitable for life, we get 10¹¹. And if one in a thousand of these have produced life, we have 100 million. Take one in a thousand of these as planets that have developed some form of intelligent life, and we get 100,000 planets. We could keep reducing the probability of existence of intelligent life out there, and still reach 200!

One of the basic assumptions of this theory is the assumption that extraterrestrial life is a reality, and this is reiterated in evidence being presented again and again here.

Now, we constantly make the mistake of assuming that life must exist, develop and flourish in conditions exactly like ours. Yet on this planet of ours, we have anaerobic bacteria: these live in environments that possess no oxygen. Germs have also been found in the lethal water that surrounds a nuclear reactor. Experiments that recreated the conditions of Jupiter were also seen to have supported life. Some bacteria live in volcanoes, some eat stones and some produce iron. The point being made here is that life can exist in any condition. An alien civilization out there might consider their conditions to be the ideal one for sustaining life.
 

When Spaceships Landed on Earth

Jules Verna described a trip around the world in 80 days. Nowadays, it takes 90 minutes for an astronaut to do that. In those days, his ideas were considered to be pure science fiction. Yet, not only have we proven that false, we've outdone it. Ideas of today may be scoffed, yet some of them do eventually become a reality. This is one of the unfortunate tendencies we seem to maintain in all times. Sooner or later, man will have conquered space, and we will have conquered Mars, then the Solar System, and perhaps distant stars.

Now, let us assume that a spaceship leaves Earth to another planet. If the ship were traveling fast enough, then time would slow down for the crew. 10 years would pass on the ship, whereas 100 may have gone by back home on Earth.

The ship lands on a planet, inhabited by a population of creatures in the state of development that Earth was 8000 years ago. What do the primitives think of these strange visitors coming in large roaring ships? They close their eyes, and face the ground fearing these "Gods." The Gods have come to visit them! The crew would study these inhabitants, pick up their language and would be able to communicate with them. Priests from the tribe would approach them to pay homage and offer gifts. No amount of explanation would deter any of the primitives from the notion that these are Gods. Our crew would also teach the primitives some of the basic values of civilization. Interbreeding among them (perhaps by 'choosing' women) would lead to a generation that's actually a few generations ahead in intelligence and abilities. The crew would eventually leave, perhaps with a promise of return. Back on that planet, the saga would continue. They will write stories, erect statues, drawings, temples…

The reason this is being explained is because it too is relevant to this article, as you will see ahead.
 

This Unexplained World

Shifting focus back to our own planet now. Generally when a certain point of mystery in our past is raised, or questions regarding the history of something, the scholars will tell us what happened, in so and so way. And that will get accepted, without much thinking on our part. But there are some things on this planet that are simply too weird for an explanation, and are hence not addressed by these 'scholars.' Here is a small list below, you may do a search to read more on it:
 

• Piri Reis Maps found in Topkapi Palace. This was found in the possession of a Turkish Navy Admiral. It was a map of the world, showing even North and South America and even Antarctica if the ice caps were to be removed. However, the map was seemingly distorted. A startling discovery showed that projecting the map onto a sphere would produce an exact view of how the world would appear if it were seen from a certain distance in space. How did our ancestors get a hold of this?
• Straight geometrical lines, some intersect and form trapezoids, in Nazca, Peru. And they're not even roads, because they end abruptly.
• Tiahuanaco is a city teeming with mysteries. Here, archaeologists founds an accurate calendar that gave the equinoxes, astronomical seasons and the positions of the moon at every hour. This is from 27,000 years ago. Also at Tiahuanaco, one can find huge sandstone blocks with accurate stonework on it, in seemingly impossible ways. There is also a Great Idol at the Old Temple, and the Gate of the Sun shows 'flying Gods' on it. Tiahuanaco also holds a legend of flying ships from the stars.
• Sacsahuaman: Giant Monolith, exquisitely carved and standing on its head.
• In Ur, where the worlds oldest books exist, we find stories of "Great Gods" that come in flying ships.
• Sumerians were one of the earliest civilizations that apparently appeared out of nowhere. Not only that, they were an advanced civilization: They had advanced astronomy, and estimates on the rotation of the moon that differ from todays calculations by 0.4 seconds. Also found was a calculation with a 15 digit result. The Greeks at the peak of their civilization never went above 10,000. The Sumerians, apparently, also had huge spans of life. They have documented 10 kings that ruled for a total of 456,000 years. The Sumerians also relate a story of how the Gods had returned after the Great Flood. Some Akkadian tablets show Gods connected with helmets and stars. What's strange is that around the stars are planets of various sizes.

• A 40,000 year old flint industry at Gar Kobeh
• A Similar one from 30,000 years ago at Baradostian
• Figures and Tombs, 13,000 years old at Tepe Asiab
• Tools, engravings and flints at Karim Shahir from the year 45000 BC
• Helwan has a piece of cloth so fine that it is possible only in a specialized factory today.
• Electric batteries that work on the galvanic principle are on display at the Baghdad Museum
• A 10,000 year old star map in Kohistan
• Smelted Platinum found in Peru
• A rust proof Iron pillar in Delhi

When evidence such as the ones mentioned above are brought into light, they are usually dismissed. Either the ancient civilizations were extremely advanced (and we've lost all their technology), or they had active imaginations. Yet the existence of these cannot be denied. Just about every culture, somewhere or the other, presents us with the same cave drawings, the same legends, the same flying Gods. Why? If it is indeed all lies, how did all of them come up with the same hair brained idea?
 

Is God an Astronaut?

The Bible is a book full of contradictions. Go to a library, or search online for the following passages:

Genesis 1:26 - who is "our"? Why is God talking like a group?

Genesis 6:1-2 - Who are the sons of God?

Genesis 6:4 - this describes mighty men known as the sons of God who mated with humans. Just about all the ancient books describe these giants. Keep in mind that if aliens had come from a planet with lower gravity, they would be extremely tall, and sport large chests. Similar to the giants.

Genesis 19:1-28 - describes or relates some sort of a catastrophe countdown, wherein the 'angels' of God tell the prophet "Lot" to hurry and get out of the city, into the mountains, and not to look at the explosion. Why the rush? Why a countdown?

In the Old Testament, Ezekiel describes in detail a visit by these Gods, and refers to fire from the vehicle, and gives a description of what we would see as an all-terrain vehicle. Apparently Ezekiel was so impressed by these that he kept describing the ship and vehicle over and over again.

Exodus 15:10, Exodus 25:40 - Noah was given the exact instructions and measurements for building the Ark, down to the inch. Also, it was described to be electrically charged, because things like sparks and flashes were said to be there. Was that perhaps a means of communication with the God?

The flood epic isn't confined to the pages of the Bible. It exists in just about every culture. You can read a few of these flood myth stories here. How did all of them come up with the same flood story? Why?

Was it perhaps that the aliens were attempting to breed an intelligent race of humans, and were attempting to destroy the experiments that they weren't satisfied with?
 

The Chariots from the Heavens

A Clay tablet found in Kuyunjik, belonging to the Assyrian King Ashurbanipal holds a huge story. The story involves interbreeding, the development of these humans and an encounter plus a travel in a spaceship as well. The story also includes the flood. This same story is present in Babylonian texts and in Tiahuanaco as well.

What were these aliens trying to do with us? There was, to some extent, interaction, yet they stayed above us. We revered them, as Gods, while the whole time, they may have just been playing God.

The Eskimos have stories of Gods that brought forth the tribes of today. The Mayans have the same legend, and it's called "Popol Vuh." In addition, the Gods knew of a round Earth. How did they know? Not only the Mayans, but the Sumerians, Assyrians, Babylonians and Egyptians have similar stories.

The Mahabharata is the largest poem-epic ever written. It tells of weapons of mass destruction that were very similar to H-Bombs of today. Not only that, but the Gods flew in flying machines of great maneuvering capabilities.

Who put these ideas into their heads?

Another observation made on each culture is the obsession with the concept of immortality and rebirth. Slaves voluntarily laid down next to their masters graves, eagerly awaiting the next life. One can see this everywhere.

Who put these ideas into their heads?

Almost all the cultures around the world have a 'promise of return.' The Spaniards were told of this when they went to South America. Some religions might even call it the Day of Judgment, through the twists in ideas that time brings. Don't forget that the thousands of years passing by here may merely be a few years for these intergalactic travelers.

In the river Nile, there is a famous Island of Elephantine. There are no hills on the island upon which one could climb up and get that impression. Viewed from the air, the island resembles an Elephant. How did the Egyptians know?

The Egyptians also had a calendar based upon the rise of Sirius, with calculations for 32,000 years. What's confusing about this is that Sirius is visible in the early dawn, only during the Nile floods.
 

An Analogy into our Future

In Human history, there have always been visionaries that were bold enough to remain oblivious to criticism. Without them, we would never have reached the moon or invented airplanes. Remember the cries such as "Man can never leave Earth!" or "Man cannot fly!"? It's obvious that the realities of today is the vision of some person from years ago. We should therefore be open to the ideas presented today instead of merely dismissing them as gibberish.

Getting back to these mysterious artifacts and facts that our past presents us with, we can explain this with an analogy of our own future:

In 1965, two time capsules were buried in New York, which could withstand just about anything, including a nuclear holocaust. Now suppose a nuclear war wipes out most of civilization. It's but obvious that the bombs won't be directed at the bush tribes of Africa or the Eskimos. They'd be directed towards the epicenters of civilization, cities such as New York. In such a time, libraries, achievements and ideas won't be of any use. Life wouldn't be able to flourish in that area for years. But then everything will begin again. Once again, a civilization will emerge. In this new civilization, the archaeologists will claim that 20th century man was not familiar with Iron. . If they find cassette tapes, they wouldn't know what to do with it, even though these could be of incalculable value to them. Texts which spoke of tall skyscrapers would be scoffed and dismissed as 'creativity' on our part. The London Tube would be viewed as a drainage system. Airplanes never existed, because 20th century man could never fly. If they happened to come across the speeches of Marx and Lenin, these would suddenly become high priests. What is being shown here is the analogy between the way we are being viewed 5000 years later, and how we view our ancestors from 5000 years ago.
 

The Pyramids

The civilization of Egypt appeared out of nowhere: an advanced, readymade civilization. Where did they come from anyways, and how is this sudden jump possible? To start off, fertile land in Egypt occurs only in the Nile Delta. Experts estimate that there may have been some 50 million inhabitants required at the time of the construction of the pyramids. Whatever the population, one this is sure: they all had to be fed, and the scanty yields of the Nile Delta's agriculture isn't enough.

These so called experts also say that wooden rollers were required to move the blocks. But the only trees in Egypt are palm trees, the shape of which makes it unfit as a roller. Not only that, but these were required for dates and shades. Did the Egyptians import wood? It should be noted that the horse and cart weren't around until 1600 BC.

How did the Egyptians carve the tombs out of the rocks? How did they achieve such fine smoothness on the walls? How did they lay out a maze of galleries?

A meridian running through the pyramids can divide the continents and oceans in exactly two equal halves. The area of the base of a pyramid, divided by twice the height gives us pi (3.141592). How is this possible? How did they illuminate the interiors of the pyramid to create the drawings and paintings, without blackening the ceilings? How were the blocks joined to the accuracy of a thousandth of an inch?
 

Easter Island and other Oddities

Most of us know of the giant heads that have been built on the tiny Easter Island for reasons unknown. Observations show that the tiny island could not have supported more than 2000 men, yet building those huge heads out of a singular block of stone and transporting them would have required much more than 2000 men. Not only that, but these men had to be fed, ropes prepared, rollers and what not. What's more, is that on the island, peculiar hats for these heads were also found prepared at another quarry. Why was the place suddenly abandoned?

A few more points of mystery on Earth are things that seem rather out of place. For example, cotton was cultivated in Peru in the time of the Aztecs, yet they never used handlooms.
The Mayans had built roads, but did not use the wheel, although they knew about it.
The Tikal Pyramid in Guatemala has a fantastic pearl necklace, with a jade in it. The Jade is from China.
The Pyramids at Teotihuacan have been aligned with the stars.

The Mayan Calendar was devised for 23,040,000,000 days. That's about 400 million years. Why did they go that far? Also, how did the Mayans get knowledge of Uranus and Neptune, which weren't 'officially' discovered by us until the 1800s?

After a shipwreck off the coast of Antikythera, divers found a strange object. Upon observation, it was found to be an extremely small scale planetarium, with the most intricate clockwork, by which the positions of the Sun, Moon and other planets could be worked out. The ship was said to have floundered around 60BC.

In Death Valley, California, melted rock and sand can be found. However, the way in which they've been melted can be possible only by the use of modern day lasers.

In Lebanon, there is a "Hadjar-el-Guble" meaning Stone of the South. It weighs well over 2 million pounds, and is well dressed and carved, even though no humans could have moved it.

In South Africa, France, Australia, India, Lebanon and Chile, there are mysterious black stones which are rich in Aluminum and Beryllium isotopes. Investigations showed that these must have been subjected to heavy bombardment by radioactivity and high temperature in the remote past.
 

Earth and Space

Space research is necessary, it is a must. There are many, many reasons for this. In the future, resources will dwindle, populations will grow, and by then it will be too late. Today, food production isn't in pace with population growth. Placing limits on birth rates would never come through due to cultural ethical and religious motives, things we blindly submit to.

People of the view that the billions of dollars put into space research could be used to help other nations need to think a bit more: This view is wrong because countries don't help other countries on charitable or political grounds purely. It's mainly for their own industries. Thousands of byproducts of space research are in regular use by us today. The space research being invested in today has helped avert a third world war, as all concentration was suddenly on the great frontier beyond.

Another point to be made is that most people will often shut their eyes and ears to anything that does not fit into the regular fabric of their existence, or what they think is the regular fabric of existence. Aliens, ghosts and UFOs don't exist simply because it's not normal. It's paranormal. What about this entity known as God, whom we submit to with blind faith, why is that considered 'normal'? Simply because society said so?

There are several credible, authenticated accounts that exist of UFO sightings, yet they are simply dismissed. What about those sightings seen by thousands, like in Korea? Reports by the Department of Defense from Februrary 5, 1965 tell of a hyperfast unidentified object. Similar reports came from Kinross air Base, Michigan. These are just a few of many, you can read more on evidences and UFOs in history. These serve only to point to the fact that these extraterrestrial intelligent beings exist, the ones we now simply wish to ignore.
 

Finally...

To summarize the scattered contents of this essay, the past is so full of absurdities that instead of seeking an explanation, we choose to ignore them and often call our ancestors crazy and superstitious. However, everything has a truth to it. The beliefs and practices we uphold today will be laughed at in the not-so-distant future. Yet there's still a reason for what we do.

Humans have existed on earth for about a million years, yet we reached such peaks of advancement in a fraction of this time. In just 7000 years. And cultures around the world have all recorded visits of Gods from the unknown. What really happened?

A plausible explanation that comes up goes like this:
This planet was discovered by some intergalactic travelers around 50000 years ago. They chose to mix and breed an intelligent race on the planet and gave us technology, knowledge and genes in our gene pool. Thus we started advancing at an accelerated pace, simultaneously worshipping these Gods. They promised to return, and left. What may have been a short span of time for them was probably thousands of years for us, in which we continued our advancement, and carried on the worshipping. The Gods did eventually return, perhaps to observe us. Each time they returned, they would help out a bit, a little more knowledge, a little more of 'civilization,' which would explain the extraordinary feats of building the pyramids, monoliths, etc. And then once again, the Gods would leave, with a promise of return. This promise got converted into things like "Day of Judgment," "Day of Reckoning" or "End of the World." Perhaps the relics at Easter Island were built in preparation for the return of the Gods, but the Gods never came, and so it was abandoned. Perhaps the Aztecs had suddenly abandoned their cities so suddenly because the Year of Arrival had come and gone, without a visit from them. Perhaps the city of "Lot" was an experiment gone wrong, and was being destroyed. Perhaps the aliens didn't like the progress of the human race, and decided to start anew by flooding everything out. And now we wait the return of our Gods. The UFO sightings and alien abductions of today are probably them checking in on us. Ever notice when we refer to God, we point up towards the sky?

It's time that we started concentrating on our future, so that we may shed light on our past. Let the truth come out.

In the summer and fall of 1933, a Los Angeles mining engineer named G.Warren Shufelt was surveying the L.A. area for deposits of oil, gold and other valuable materials, using a new device which he had invented. Shufelt had designed and built a radio-directed apparatus which he claimed was able to locate gold and other precious resources at great depths. He believed that the radio device worked on a newly discovered principle involving electrical similarities of matter which had the same chemical, physical and vibrational character. His device appeared to consist of a large pendulum suspended in a cylindrical glass case which was housed in a black box with compasses on it.

The pendulum would trace a line directly from a piece of ore broken from a vein to the vein it was originally taken from. Hair taken from a test subject would lead investigators to the person who had donated the hair sample. It was said to have worked even at a distance of many miles.

Although he would not tell exactly what was in the box, Shufelt believed that by tuning into the individual frequency of a particular material, he could locate similar matter. He believed that the emanations and gravitational factors of matter influenced the pendulum and that, in principle, no two separate things were exactly alike.

Shufelt was extremely puzzled when one day, while taking readings near downtown Los Angeles, his instruments showed him what seemed to be a pattern of tunnels which led from what is now the Public Library in the heart of L.A. to the top of Mount Washington and the Southwest Museum to the north in Pasadena. He proceeded to draw a map and had it copyrighted.

What he discovered appeared to be a well planned underground labyrinth with large rooms located at various points, and deposits of apparently man made gold in the chambers and passage ways. Some of the tunnels ran west for 20 miles under the Santa Monica Bay, which he believed were only used for ventilation.

Unfortunately, Shufelt had no idea that they were connected to the older ruins of an even greater city which was covered by the Pacific Ocean thousands of years ago during a tremendous earth-quake and subsequent flood.

The subterranean complex he had discovered was used for emergencies and was only designed to accommodate 5,000 people or less. Food supplies of imperishable herbs were stored in sufficient quantities which would enable the survivors to live underground until it was safe to come back to the surface. Valuable personal belongings and utensils were also brought into the complex along with historical records and gold treasures.

During his research, he met a Hopi Indian named Chief Little Green Leaf, who told him about the legend of an ancient race of "Lizard People". The legends said that about 4,000 to 5,000 years ago, an enormous meteor shower fell on the western coast covering an area hundreds of miles wide.

Winslow crater in northern Arizona is only one of the pieces that fell from the sky at that time. Thousands of people were killed, their crops wiped out, dwellings destroyed, and the forests set on fire. The surviving members of the medicine lodge, which had remained on the west coast, met to make plans for constructing safe areas. The sentinels of the sky gave their warning that it was time to enter the shelters and seal the shafts behind them-selves. They were forced to go underground to save them selves from a gigantic meteor shower which devastated most of the west coast of the US . The "Lizard People" of Los Angeles survived the meteor shower, but were killed by natural gas leaking into their bunkers.

Shufelt believed that they had built 13 such underground facilities in different areas for such a purpose. One was located in the eastern section of Arizona in a small town called Springerville and was only discovered recently. Another was located under a hill which was surrounded by a curving ridge of mountains like the middle of a horse's hoof. This is exactly the type of terrain seen in downtown L.A. in the area that is now the Board of Education, which is built over the ruins of the old Willis Estate on top of Fort Moore hill.

Shufelt and his partner Chief Little Green Leaf were both convinced that the ancient legends and the readings from Shufelt's mystery machine were true. They decided to obtain a permit to sink a shaft down into the ruins of the subterranean city. They located a vacant lot at 518 North Hill Street, directly above one of the largest rooms. On 21st February 1933, the County Board of Supervisors approved a contract with Rex McCreary, Warren Shufelt and Ray Martin to search for buried treasure there. The permittees were to bear all expenses, to leave the property in its original condition, and to share 50% of all discoveries and treasure with the city of L.A.

The county originally only allowed them to dig up to depths of 50 feet for fear of cave-ins. On 27th March 1933 they requested additional time and depths on their permit, believing that the labyrinth of tunnels was at least 1,900 feet in length, with rooms containing 9,000 square feet which contained valuable gold treasure in at least 16 places. On 10th April 1933 the contract was renewed. By the end of November in 1933, the main shaft was at a depth of 200 feet. Shufelt was determined to drill to a depth of 1,000 feet if necessary. On 29th January 1934, the first stories regarding the leg-end of the "Lost Land of the Lizard People" made the L.A. newspapers. By this time, one of the five shafts was already 250 feet deep.

According to the legend and the radio surveys, the underground city was laid out in the shape of a lizard, with its tail under the Main Library at Fifth and Hope, and the body extending Northeast, with the head being at Lookout and Marda near North Broadway. The key room to the city was located under Second and South Broadway. The leg-ends state that the key room is the directory to the rest of the city, and to the historical gold record tablets. These gold tablets were slabs of gold, 4 feet long and 14 inches wide. The tablets were believed to contain the records of the origins of the human race, and the history of modern man in the Americas, including details regarding the history of the mysterious Mayan people.

Shufelt's radio-wave machine mapped the rooms and tunnels as subsurface voids, with the gold slabs as dark areas, showing perfect geometric angles.

The rooms, seven of which occurred within an area of six square city blocks, varied in size from 23' x 23' to 34' x 42'. The room below the first shaft was 31' x 42', and the key room was the smallest. Water had seeped into some of the tunnels, and several of the rooms including the largest were flooded. Shufelt was prepared to use divers to explore the submerged areas when they finally broke into the subterranean city. Chief Little Green Leaf claimed that the "Lizard People" had been able to predict earthquakes and that he had also been able to do so. He had accurately predicted the destruction of the Long Beach quake on 10th March 1933, a month in advance.

He believed that it was easy for anyone to tell 96 hours in advance when an earthquake was coming, because the needle on a compass would become demagnetized and refuse to point north.

By the beginning of February 1934, the first shaft had reached a depth greater than 250 feet and was still being dug, despite difficulty caused by the water encountered in its path. Several newspaper articles featured updates on the project.

Shortly after all the media attention was focused on this search for the lost city under L.A., the project was suddenly stopped and abandoned. On 5th March 1934, the shafts had been filled in and the contract with the city was canceled. Neither gold nor any other treasure was ever turned over to the County of Los Angeles.

Mr Arche Dunning of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce stated in December of 1947 that, "It is quite possible, of course, that the supposed labyrinth really exists. But in view of the fact that the overlaying area is the immediate Civic Center area where an important building program is to be carried out, including federal, state, county and city building, there is little probability of any further excavations."

This is really not a true statement because it is necessary to excavate many hundreds of feet into the ground before a high-rise building can be constructed. Also, one should consider that sewage systems are all underground. And let's not forget the new Metro Rail System, which rises up from many feet below the Civic Center before it speeds commuters on their way.

Long ago even the Chinese dug tunnels around the area which is now the train yard. These red brick subsurface tunnels were used for their safe passage, from one end of Old Chinatown to the other and are now an historic landmark found preserved at Alvera Street.

It is quite possible that there is another city below the L.A. Civic Center which only a small
number of people have access to. The question is, who?

LIZARD PEOPLE UPDATE
Dear Duncan,
Here is a reptilian relic that was found in Los Angeles in 1954 that neatly fits into the "Lost Land of the Lizard People" article [see NEXUS 2/19]. Enclosed is a photo of an artefact that is definitely very old, depicting a full-bodied dragon. The upper section of the medallion is made of pure silver that was somehow fused to a copper-alloy base which is composed of over 40 different types of metal. The medallion's actual dimensions are 7/8" (width) x 1/4" (length) x 1/l6" (depth). The man who found it, Mr G., was an aerospace engineer who lived and worked for the US Government in Chatsworth, California. The artefact was found while Mr G. was helping a friend, who lived on the northern shore of Lake Chatsworth, repair the wooden stairway to the front porch. Mr G. dropped his hammer, which fell into a soft sandy area, and when he reached to pull his hammer out he noticed this small metal medallion. Mr G. still has the artefact in his possession, and after much research feels that it belonged to an ancient race of space people named ALTEC, who left behind their influence on this world long ago. The Friendly or Sleeping Dragon is a very old symbol, one which has definite connections to UFO's. I once had the opportunity to show a picture of a Pleiadian -style UFO to a man from Bhutan (near Tibet) and asked if he had ever seen such a thing. He replied that yes, they did see them often and that they were called "Friendly Dragon". Chatsworth is located in Los Angeles County near the north-west border of the city and county lines. It is likely that a Chinese laborer lost this artefact while working in Chatsworth on railroad construction, around the turn of the century. There is a rail-road tunnel that was cut by the Chinese through a solid red rock ridge called the Santa Suzana Pass near the Chatsworth Lake.

Old Chinatown is located in downtown Los Angeles and was built where the new rail-yard now sits. New Chinatown is built over much of the old tunnel systems that the first Chinese leaders had constructed for their 'safety' when they first arrived in the area. It is possible that engineer/inventor G. W. Shufelt did not know what he had stumbled onto electronically, and it is also logical that Chinese people would not admit to the existence of a secure system of tunnels and rooms they had worked so hard to build in secret. There may even have existed a series of older tunnels and rooms that the Chinese discovered during their own excavations and construction.

However, the Federal Government definitely stepped in during the '50s and took control of the entire underground tunnel system for their Cold War operations, adding many new paranoid-influenced improvements over the years that followed. In the '9Os, suspicious arson fires prevented well-equipped - ONI - intelligence operatives from gaining access to the secret entrance that was located in the basement of the so-called 'public' library. There is more to this story than can be told at this time.

Sirius A / B - This is the Oiriginal Homeworld of the Feline Family line, these have been expressed in Egyptian Mythology [Sekhmet, Bekhat]. I also notate a very curious relationship in between the Orcas and Whales with Sirius. I see Sirius as one of the main original star systems with planets where the Higher Harmonic form of many Earth Based Mamallian creatures originate from. I see an especially strong connection to the Felines, which probably a couple of people could confirm through their intuitive empathic sense.

You see, the Lion/Sphinx on the the Giza Plateua, and the whole entire pyramid complex as well as all the other sacred sites around the planet are part of a Gigantic Astrological Super-Computer, this can be understood by doing research into like Archaeo-Astronomy [ie Graham Hancock, Robert Bauval, Maurice Cotterell, etc]. We all know that the pyramids are in mathematically calculated aligned with the stars. But you see, I think that the 'Original Civilization' - the one which exists across multiple star systems had reached further ingression into the way the people in ancient times perceived things [in otherwords - more than likely prior to the worldwide flood there was open acceptance of the influence and overseeing of humanity by those who are from otherworlds, or at least our ancestral heritage in these regards was acknoweldged, the human species - eh].

After the flood occurred pretty much humanity's entire understanding base was wiped out. Like we have already become aware, as the flood was occurring or before - Noah was told to build a boat. Well myths are fragments basically, that is a fact. There are mirror reflections and great truths that can be gleaned from piecing them back together. I see it as after the flood occurred, there were various locations that served as repositories - where the information was stored. Of course we have destroyed most of these repositories - supposedly the Vatican Library where a good majority of it is at [all the fragments].

The obvious Repositories that I can think of were fragments are apparent, or thoughout a specific cultures expression [it can be perceived that they held onto ingressions of the alchemical stellar gnosis]. When one looks at things through a multi-level spectrum, one can see that there were expressions - even if they were only held onto within the Sacred Texts. The thing is this process involving what we call the destruction of Antlantis & Lemuria .. well according to the Hindu's there have been like 4 previous root races I believe prior to ours. I would see a certain correlation in between this and the way the ancient Mayans saw our times as an ending of the 4th world and beginning of the 5th. This has not been a process that just occurred over night.

We know according to the Mayan Calandar that it measures the Lunar Cycle and also an Intergalactic Cycle. Various people have begun to work this out - Jose Arguelles, Humbatz Men, supposedly Mayan Calandar notates 25,860 Cyclic Orbit of our Star System through the 12 signs of the zodiac. This calandar can supposdely be calculated forwards and backwards in time millions of years [indefinitely]. Then there is specific mechanism associated with the Mayan Calandar, the Tzolkin - this is basically a Digital Mechanism that helps one to understand these various inter-relationships and how to navigate through the time locks. Time Locks are encodement mechanisms that exist woven within us, and keep us from accessing the entirety of the dimensional spectrum. {this is why with the Tzolkin or Dream-Spell, their are spectral tones, frequencies, for each day, etc].

The thing is, we have found remains of anatomically modern humans dating backwards in time in between 750,000-1.5 million years. I had Hank Wesselman as an instructor for a Semester [a href="http://www.sharedwisdom.com" target="_blank">Shared Wisdom]. He is like a shamnic anthropologist, but I guess he worked with the Leakeys back in the day. This does not exactly fit into the fact that there were also Neandrathals. There is alot of Gaps in our fossil record and actually I think our whole entire scienfitc model of the evolutionary process needs to be turned upside down. If we are to truly understand our concepts of God, the Devil, Good, Evil .. and how this all intertwines into the Universal Symbolism and awareness that is rapidly being gained - there is still alot of context that has not yet entered the pictures we've formed. To think that humanity solely evolved through Natural Selection from Apes is wrong, and it is also wrong that we mis-understand and have so much distorted our original conception of those who are godlike [hence we can not clearly discern our own potential and the truth of our stellar heritage].. <br /> <br /> MAJOR REPOSITORIES OF PRE-FLOOD KNOWLEDGE: <br /> <strong>Tibet / China / Himalayas</strong> - These people have held in tact many of the original teachings, one of the oldest continous civilizations. ... the <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ainu_people" title="Ainu people" rel="wikipedia">Ainu people don't quite fit in, where are they from. The Chinese have a very strong respect for the Dragons [see Draconis below]. If we are to consider that the human species ancestry is stellar, it would definitely be interesting to note the racial characteristics of asiatic hominids.

Austrailia - The Aboriginees should probably be considered as those who have held onto this knowledge for the longest, I have read that the circuits within their soul matrix loops reach back 65,000 years .. memory imprints - they have access to this through the way they perceive things and their 'dream-time'.

Sumeria / Assyria - Babylon [Akkadic] - We see a strong Nephilim/Annunaki influence throughout these times, I would say that after the flood to a certain degree humanity was being re-acculturalized by various extraterrestrial groups who have had their own motivations .. there is also a strong tie in here relating to the Caucus Mountains [Indo-Aryan Invaders]. Is also important to notate the 'Zigguraut' structures. There were chicks having sex with the Nephilim back in the ancient days, like it says in Genesis 6 - talking about those who came down from the Stars .. seeing the daughters of man as fine in form and robust in sexuality. Jelaila Starr would say 'NIBIRU'.

I would wager that after the global flood and the civilization was demolished, I see there being a human element and other species involved; but there were also dynamics relating to the natural stellar and planetary cycles that contributed to the demse. Our recorded history basically picks up with the human species after some worldwide catastrophe as being hunter-gatherers. Well what the heck do you think happens after a major ice age ends and man made/other planetary catastrophes initiate a major geologic shift. There is evidence that there could have even been a crustal displacement 13,000 years ago .. as is evidenced by finding Mammoths in Siberia.

Persia [istanbul/turkey/pakistan] - I see Ancient Persia, with roots in Zorastrianism; which would probably be considered the first really balanced understanding and expression of the unification in between opposing polarities. Their understanding of the universal mechanics through the shape of Persian Architecture and spiral lines in their edifices, etc.

Egypt - The Most Obvious location, Central Grid Node of Ancient Holographic Crystalline Super-Computer Grid Network. Backwards in time, prior to the flood; I have seen that the pyramids were part of this sort of interstellar communications system - a sort of hyper-dimensional resonant link .. Movies like Stargate and the whole connection throughout time into modern days, ie: Pyramid on the Back of the Dollar bill, etc .. etc. Specific myths like those of Isis and Osirus are intricately connected to Sirius.

Rome & Jerusalem - King Solomon - link to Babylon, through Jesuit orders. Can't really say too much about this .. remember Vatican Libraries - biggest modern day repository [besides probably CIA, FBI, and other Alphabet Agencies - of the modern days pieces to put things into context].

Central Africa - There is going to be a major headline which breaks global news that will tie Central Africa to Jerusalem, I am not quite sure what it revolves around yet though. Obviously in relation to Sirius there is the Dogon Tribe, they say they got their knowing from those who were not from around here. All I can say is that yes, many of the characteristics of humans or the developments have occurred through natural selction and adaptation within a particular environment. There have always been those from the stars who have been involved in interbreeding and also other species [genetic manipulation].

Greece - Pythagoras, Hermes Trismegstus, Socrates, Plato .. this is the first foundations .. the roots of Western Civilization. I seem to have a very strong soul level connection with an old man named Andrejas Drakovich. He was a lonely old scribe who spent 38 years in exhile hiding - meanwhile translating sacred texts by Candle-light. I send many thanks to him for the time which he spent in hiding meanwhile working for the greater whole - without being acknowledged & without the touch or caring of any other beings [besides those invisibles with which he worked].

Ireland [Celtic/Teutonic - Druids ?] - Mostly note the intricately woven celtic artwork, alot of serpentine characteristics. I would say there is a strong relationship in here to both London and Stonehenge - the throne of England also.

South America - Of course most famous are the Mayans, interesting to notate sculptures of very big heads with seemingly african hominid characteristics. Huge pyramids just like in Ancient Egpt. The Mayans seemed to be balanced in Lunar & Solar Recognition .. Conquistadors came over, what the heck were the Natives doing waiting for White Men to return to herald a shift in the unfoldment of things. How had they even known of other races before ?

Within these various cultures, there are so many fragments that compose a picture that not only shows us the existence of Otherworlds as a physical reality. By this I mean other Star Systems possessing planet's with Living Systems .. it also shows examples of cross breeding or genetic splicings [representations of half horse, half human, and other representations, or distorted misrepresnetations] as well as so much hyper-extended awareness .. it pretty much blows away even what our fledgling 21st Century mindset has begun to formulate.

See, it has been taboo to include the existence of otherworldly phenomena as a potential reality since the original cover-up began when the multi-species leak began to occur back in the early 1900's [German UFO's & Antartica].

Before moving on to other Star Systems, I would just like to mention Sheldan Nidle, in reference to Sirius [Planetary Activation Organization].

O'rion - For some reason, I have always had a very strong pull towards this Constellation. I have even imagined that if you traced back the languages and family lines .. that since my last name was Ryan .. I do know that it comes from Ireland .. I know it translates back to O'ryan .. but I have always felt a connection within my Heart .. thinking that if my family line was traced back - there was some level of relationship in between my family line and this Star System.

It has always been the Great Hunter who has guided me in my own orientation it seems. The thing which we do not understand is that there is are some very powerful reptillian sub-species who reside there. Like I was mentioning, the original archetype of the Devil or El Diablo is a reptillian based one. What we have represented as horns throughout our myths are in reality hyper-extended pre-frontal lobes. This is when for my own self things can really start to be put into context.

I have been doing alot of thinking about 'Ancestral Mass Karma' or various levels of Karmic Knots that are held within our energetic fields and soul matrix configuration. People are saying that it is time for a major clearing of this ancestral mass karma that intertwines through us as individuals and also as a species. My sense is that the biggest release and dissolution has to occur around putting all of these various pieces back together and in the correct context.

It should not be shameful to be acknowledged the relationship and role within the scheme of unfoldment as it relates to the human species, ie. the involvement of others who are not from around here. You see, by not acknowledging these components - in actuality the human species dis-empowers itself. This is so evident by the stronghold grip .. Military/Industrial/Hollywood Complex.

There are references in the original translations not of a Serpent, but of a Viper; I am telling you - this is the Family line also of the O'rion Reptillians [Rigel]. Pit Vipers are related to the Horned Draconians, which are in actuality Hyper-Extended Pre-frontal lobes [of course on a Pit Viper they are dormant and it is another sub-species phenotype, very low level, etc]. This can not be stressed enough, my own individual ancestral mass karma can not be cleared until people begin to understand this.

The reason why I was given the visual representation of the 12 DnA strand Heart Soul Star is because it is a very important component in putting the whole entire puzzle back together. This is one of the reason why I have always felt such a strong kinship with the Reptillians or at least a fascination by them - but I also understand that they are exactly that - reptiles.

So straight from O'rions Heart, I apologize; I do know that many factions of the O'rion Dragons have re-oriented their stance in relation to the Human Species. The faction that I was in communication with was part of a sort of Tri-Lateral Commission in between the Andromedans-O'rions & Draconians. I have come to understand them as the 'O'rion Syndicate'..

I mentioned Andrejas Drakovich back in Ancient Greece, but I also must mention Ethanacy; for he is the one who truly held the council contract. This was of course broken through the dynamics that went down relating to the Ancient Crystalline Technology. Ethanacy was one of the High Priest Astronomers who lived before the flood, he was a Crystal Grid Engineer. From what I have come to understand of him, he was almost 300 years old when things finally went down.

But it was through his decision, somehow this extension of my soul- [which was intertwined into how they gained re-possession of some of the Crystalline Techology - this is why through my Andrejas Drakovich - I have awareness of the Omicron Matrix] . This is sorta tied into the reason why my last name is Ryan and why I have been able thoughout time to gain access to these various levels within myself. I am almost positive that this man turned towards the Dark Side, or the Sons of Belial.

Now there is some real heavy distortion in here when it comes to distinguishing in between Satan, Lucifer, AA Michael, the Devil, Dragons etc ..

There has been major territorial disputes over both the Human Species and this Planet Earth itself, this is why it is said that what unfolds on earth will affects countless numerous worlds across multiple sectors of this entire galaxy. When it comes to planet's Earth actually is not classified as anything special besides the potential which is contained within humanity.

I love my link to O'rion and the Soul Heritage which it represents, even if it is one from a draconian involved family line .. have always thought about the snakes being driven out of ireland .....

The O'rion Reptillians are very involved in dynamics surrounding the Stargate / Wormhole which is in the Heart of O'rion - this essentially is probably the most major tunnel that there is within our local galactic region. I have come to understand that along one route - there is a direct link via hyperspace in between Galaxies to Andromeda.

Draconis - Now this is where it starts to get both complex, simple and dynamic at the same time. From my understanding, there is a reason why the ancient people had a calandar that measured greater orbital cycles of time as well as a keen interest in solar cycles and the influence of other stellar spheres and those who periodically came from them.

There have been so many wars throughout the cosmos, we can think about the dynamics unfolding on our planet and pattern replicate them at a higher level to see an inverse reflection in the state of affairs throughout the cosmos. But you see, from what I have come to understand there has been a certain armistice that has been reached.

Right now, there are negotiations underway along many vectors, the human species is an integral component in a dynamic that will effectively serve as a contingent. By contingent, I mean that through Humanity reclaiming his rightful stake and claim as the Soverign Caretakers and Overseer of this Earth, our Planetary Homeworld .. well this goes along way to clear the slate for not only humanity but the draconians who were involved when things went down.

The mainly recognized Star in the Draconis constellation relating to various Reptillians is Alpha Draconis. I would say that this is the Star System from where the more Humanoid types originate from [Draconoids]. I would say the the Alpha Draconians are the ones who are in Covert Concordance with the little Greys, who we supposedly come from Zeta Reticuli.

So in 1995, I was approached by a renegade group of Alpha Draconians. This renegade group was one who is seeking to see the groups or sub-species of draconoids returned into alignment with their overseer. The entire Draconian Collective is ruled through the Female, why do you think their is a Queen in England. The thing is though, the Draconian Queen is a Superluminal - so this means she is at the same level and calibre as the Alpha Centaurians. I have come to know the Superluminal Draconian Shapeshifter Queen as 'She Whose Name Can Not Be Pronounced or Spoken by Mortals w/out a Split / Forked Tongue'.

Where Omicron Draconis fits in here is that it is, as far as I know - the main and one of the Original Stronghold homeworlds. It was the ancestors of those who were from Omicron Draconis who seeded the planet earth so many billion years ago. So basically the dynamic relationship in between the Reptiles / Dragons and Humanity is one of whose stake is this planet. Even though this little ball of dirt is in a single sun-star system - in the outer arm of the milky way spiral, it is an especilally habitable world.

Solis is still in the prime of it's life, it is a shame that humanity is destroying the planet so much, this is actually one of the major reasons why they dragons / reptillians have begun to become apparent. It is no co-incidence that craft that did not conform to normal aviational standards of flight performance began to show up in tandem with our detonation and testing of atomic / nuclear weapons.

There is almost a split or schism in many ways in relation to the various sub-species of reptillians and their stance and orientation towards this planet and who does it rightfully belong to.

What I think was that when the Grandfather Designers of this planets living systems got together, like Barbara Marciniak says - it was to serve as a sort of Interstellar Library - or a planet that would be an integration of species from many different worlds. What I think is that thoughout the process, which is overseen - difficulties have occurred. One of them was the comet which impacted this planet and wiped out the dinosaurs, or each successive extinction. I am sure that these were a major shaping factor for those who have been overseeing the evolutionary development upon this world.

I do not see the Reptillians or Dragons from Omicron Draconis as being the sole contributors to the design specifications for this planet. I feel that there were others involved and originally this planet was a project sanctioned for development by the Andromedan Council [which can be explored through the Ra Material]. The sense that I have is that not only are the reptillians master geneticists, I have had inner visions of their technological capabilities. I have seen these as include the capability to almost engineer or culture star systems - move planets around, etc.

There is a alot of confusion as it relates to the information that is available dealing with these dynamics.

I would say that there have been many great wars, in the process of evolutionary development, and rotation within this galaxy .. 4.5 billion years is a long time. That is how long this planet has been around, it was only 65 million years ago that the Dinosaurs began to be wiped away.

I think that after their extinction the blueprint for this world shifted, the Reptillians sort of let this planet lay to waste after their seedlings and the environment was decimated for however many years after the cometary impact.

I think that during this time period is when the dynamics relating to some of the other groups came around, those from Sirius, Lyra, the Pleidaes, and Alpha Centauri. .

Bascially I just see there as being throughout the evolutionary development process on this world - over the past 3.6 billion years since life has developed the potential that evolution has not only occured through natural selction but that there is a much greater story underlying all of the fragments - once we put them all back in the correct context the whole scope will become clear once again.

You see, I see the development of higher evolutionary life forms as the purpose for the universe itself, the extension of sentience through physiology .. for what other reason would all of the stars exist - if it were not to birth unlimited innumerable countless worlds that could potentially be inhabited and explored.

Antares - What I have come to understand about Antares is that it is in the Constellation of Scorpio. I think it is important to note that in our Ancient Mythologies - the great hunter O'rion is killed by a scorpion stinging him. I think there has been a clash in between the Reptillians from O'rion and those who are from Antares in relation to the Stargate or Wormhole that is in the Heart of O'rion and Mother Earth itself.

I think that in a certain sense the struggle in between the forces of light and darkness - ie Archangel Michael versus the Dragon may be intricately connected to this ancient dynamic. I also feel that the woman Anna Hayes has a very strong connection to Antares and that there are aspects intertwining into this star system that are of an opposing pole as well.

What we are working on establishing on Earth is something that can also assist in the 'Armistice' being affective throughout the entire local galactic regions.

Zeta-Reticuli ~ These are of course the Little Greys, they are the ones who are in covert alignment with the Rigel Reptillians and dracanoids from Alpha Draconis. I was lucky to be confronted by a renegade group of the AD's back in 1995, lucky that it wasn't a faction that was solely bent on conquering the earth. I have come to learn that even within this renegade faction there have been indviduals who did not have the same orientation as the objectives of the rengades. You see the Renegade Alpha Draconians objective is to see this collective ancestral karma intertwining through their ancestors involvement in what went down when the Crystalline Technology was re-claimed - and then further backwards; into alignment with their grandfathers and the other original planners intentions - not only for earth, but for the Dragons / reptiles themselves.

Most of the Alpha Draconians want to see their claim and stake on this planet, like I said - I would consider this to be where the Dracanoids are from. I think their are overseers on Omicron Draconis who sort of are a little bit removed from this, but there is definitely an interest because of the raw genetic material that is available on Earth. This is also why there is concern, we are destroying ourselves esentially - look at how much bio-mass - raw DNA material that we destroy in our ignorance.

This concern intertwines into the Zeta-Reticuli, if it can be looked at in reverse, one can see a reflection in those who we have come to know as the greys. Some have said that they are a dieing species having lost their capability to re-produce.

So basically the Rigel Reptillians & Alpha Draconians are the ones helping the Zeta-Reticuli and this intertwines into the dynamic involving the reptillians involvement with the Shadow Gov't Elements.

What needs to be done by the Dracanoids is a shift towards acknowledging the Superluminal Draconian Shapeshifter Queen.

Pleidaes - This is also another central star system with a very strong relationship to planet earth, and of course it has been explored by many different authors so I will not really get into it very much. It is definitely interesting to notate the Mayan's and their Calandar in this regard.

Barbara Marciniak is probably the best source of Pleidian Material, I think Lia Light stuff is pretty watered down. I really have not ever felt a very strong connection to the pleidaes itself besides a fascination with all of the information and cross synthesis that can be gained by looking at the facets of information coming forth regarding this star system. I did draw the 12 DnA Strand Heart Soul Star before I was aware of her ;)

Arcturus - This is one that I feel that I still need to learn stuff about, I at one time did posess the book 'We Are The Arcturians' but I gave it away. I think that there is a strong relationship in between Arcturus and Alpha Centauri though, although I feel that Alpha Centauri deals with a higher level relationship.

Alpha Centauri - I see Alpha Centauri as being the Star System that can put all the pieces together, not in only in relation to the Human Species Stellar Ancestry - but also the dynamics and how things operate within in us - as well as how we can gain almost all of our memories.

I am not quite sure how the Mythologies of the Pegasus, Unicorn, Cyclops and Centaur fit into this .. but in time I hope to understand more clearly ;)

Ringing two abandoned pyramids are nine palaces "frozen in time" that may help unravel the mystery of the ancient Maya, reports an archaeological team.

Hidden in the hilly jungle, the ancient site of Kiuic (KIE-yuk) was one of dozens of ancient Maya centers abandoned in the Puuc region of Mexico's Yucatan about 10 centuries ago. The latest discoveries from the site may capture the moment of departure.

"The people just walked away and left everything in place," says archaeologist George Bey of Millsaps College in Jackson Miss., co-director of the Labna-Kiuic Regional Archaeological Project. "Until now, we had little evidence from the actual moment of abandonment, it's a frozen moment in time."

The ancient, or "classic" Maya were part of a Central American civilization best known for stepped pyramids, beautiful carvings and murals and the widespread abandonment of cities around 900 A.D. in southern Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and El Salvador. They headed for the northern Yucatan, where Spanish conquistadors met their descendants in the 1500s (6 million modern Maya still live in Central America today).

Past work by the team, led by Bey and Tomas Gallareta of Mexico's National Institute of Archaeology and History, shows the Maya had inhabited the Puuc region since 500 B.C. So why they headed for the coast with their brethren is just part of the mystery of the Maya collapse.

New clues may come from Kiuic, where the archaeologists explored two pyramids and, most intriguingly, plantation palaces on the ridges ringing the center. Of particular interst: a hilltop complex nicknamed "Stairway to Heaven" by Gallareta (that's "Escalera al Cieloa" for Spanish-speaking Led Zeppelin fans) because of a long staircase leading from Kiuic to a central plaza nearly a mile away.

Both the pyramids and the palaces look like latter-day additions to Kiuic, built in the 9th century, just as Maya centers farther south were being abandoned. "The influx of wealth (at Kiuic) may spring from immigration," Bey says, as Maya headed north. One pyramid was built atop what was originally a palace, allowing the rulers of Kiuic to simultaneously celebrate their forebears and move to fancier digs in the hills.

When the team started exploring the hilltop palaces, five vaulted homes to the south of the hilltop plaza and four to the north, the archaeologists found tools, stone knives and axes, corn-grinder stones called metates (muh-TAH-taze) and pots still sitting in place. "It was completely unexpected," Bey says. "It looks like they just turned the metates on their sides and left things waiting for them to come back."

"Their finds look very interesting and promising," says archaeologist Takeshi Inomata of the University of Arizona, who is not part of the project. "If it indeed represents rapid abandonment, it provides important implications about the social circumstance at that time and promises detailed data on the way people lived."

Inomata is part of a team exploring Aguateca, an abandoned Maya center in Guatemala renowned for its preservation. "I should add that the identification of rapid abandonment is not easy. There are other types of deposits — particularly ritual deposits — that result in very similar kinds of artifact assemblages," Inomata cautions, by email.

Bey and colleagues presented some of their findings earlier this year at the Society for American Archaeology meeting in Atlanta. The team hopes to publish its results and dig further at Kiuic to prove their finding of rapid abandonment there. "I think you could compare it to Pompeii, where people locked their doors and fled, taking some things but leaving others," Bey says.

So far, what drove people to leave the site remains a mystery, as it is for the rest of the ancient Maya. The only sign of warfare is a collection of spear points found in the central plaza of Kiuic. There are signs that construction halted there — a stucco-floored plaza sits half-complete, for example. "Drought seems more likely, that would halt construction," Bey says.

Having climbed the "Stairway to Heaven" a few times, Bey can answer one minor mystery, however. Why weren't the palace sites looted as so many other Maya sites have been? "The hills are a good climb," he says. "People just didn't bother to climb the hills to search the rooms."

African Gold in Illinois?

A cave that Russell Burrows claims to have discovered in 1982 allegedly contained inscribed gold and stone artefacts, human remains and a golden sarcophagus that has been linked to the Mauritanian king Juba II.

The story of the Burrows Cave is more about human behaviour than archaeology. It is the story of an alleged cave containing the tomb of an African king who reached North America in the 1st century AD�and the subsequent controversy that the artefacts created.
� Philip Coppens Every discovery has its dangers. In version one of our story, Russell Burrows accidentally discovered a cave along a branch of the Little Wabash River near his home town of Olney, Illinois, USA, in 1982. Hunting for discarded archaeological relics, he found a shallow cave leading into a subterranean corridor, the likes of which you'd not expect to find in rural Illinois. The passageway was lined with oil lamps, the ceiling black from smoke. The 500-foot-long tunnel had several chambers along it�but what it contained, Burrows was unwilling to divulge. In version two, in 1982 Burrows created a hoax: claiming to have discovered a tomb, he then tried to sell faked stone artefacts of his own making, which he'd copied from various books.
The so-called Burrows Cave is famous for its large numbers of inscribed stones, often containing profiles of people who look African, Egyptian and European as well as Native American. On first sight they look crude: the work of an amateur or someone meeting an imminent deadline. Furthermore, preliminary analyses of the writing on the stones revealed a mix, if not a mismatch, of various styles, words and languages that archaeologists and linguists quickly labelled as "obviously fake" ("obvious" being a preferred word that scientists use to underline what they can easily, obviously, see is fake, though amateurs are fooled by it, obviously).
As early as 1983, Burrows did place a very small collection of the artefacts on sale in a local antique shop�but if he created the entire collection, it is clear he created so many that he could never have got rid of them all. Moreover, it was not until 1997 that he or anyone else would "cash in" on the stones themselves. If Burrows wanted to get rich from creating fake artefacts, his hoax was obviously ill executed.
But the cave is more than just a collection of inscribed stones. Burrows allegedly found and removed many gold artefacts. These look genuine and contain the same mismatch of writing. You can only wonder why a fraud, if Burrows were indeed one, would use gold�which, to begin with, is costly to obtain.
It is true that there are conflicting stories about this gold. Burrows at one point stated that some of the gold had been melted down and then sold. The Swiss author Luc B�rgin claimed that Burrows removed huge quantities of gold, had it melted down and then sold it, depositing a grand total of US$15 million into Swiss bank accounts. If true, this indicates that Burrows did indeed get his hands on tremendous amounts of gold and decided to sell for the gold's monetary value�not the archaeological value. But others have stated that B�rgin was merely told this "information" by a fellow researcher and possesses no evidence for his assertion.
Some sceptics claim that the "gold" never existed, that it has never been seen. That's not true, because early researchers did see it. I have been shown colour photographs of apparently gold artefacts by Burrows himself; I still have some of these photos in my possession, and they are available for viewing on my website. Other critics argue that the "gold" was just metal, finished off with gold paint to make it look real. If they are correct, then Burrows merely created these artefacts to fool archaeologists, amateur scientists and the media and he could never allow any direct contact with or testing of the artefacts. It would also mean that he could never have regarded the "gold" artefacts as part of a quick money-making scheme. In short, this conclusion is incompatible with the other sceptics' argument, which is that Burrows tried to make money from a hoax. The Golden Sarcophagus and Human Remains
If the story is genuine, Burrows discovered a human skeleton�a male�in the first crypt. The second chamber had a funeral bier with the remains of a woman and two children. A golden spearhead lay in the woman's ribs, where the heart would have been. The skulls of the children showed signs of perforation. The scene suggested that the woman and children had been murdered at the time when the male, her husband, died.
In total, there were 12 crypts. The central chamber, containing the golden sarcophagus, was closed by a stone that had to be rolled away. The room, including the ceiling, was decorated and white marble was seen throughout. The golden sarcophagus inside the stone tomb resembled the ancient Egyptian form of burial: it displayed the same style of wearing the hair as well as the crossed arms on the body, and the hands were holding the ankh symbol. It is said that Burrows was able to prise open the sarcophagus and note that it seemed to contain human remains as well as a death mask, also thought to be of Egyptian origin.
Although the sarcophagus was of tremendous value�to be compared with the golden sarcophagus of Tutankhamun�it could not be removed from the cave by just Burrows with the help of his brother-in-law. Furthermore, Burrows was unsure as to whether he might face prosecution if he disturbed the human remains he'd found in the cave or if he tried to sell any of its contents. The sceptics seldom address this part of the story, as they claim that there never was a cave at all, and hence no sarcophagus, and hence no human skeleton inside. Reactions to the Discovery
Let us assume that the cave exists, and see how far we can follow Burrows into it. His situation was extremely complex: he was totally unprepared for such a find (who wouldn't be?), and his volatile character did not help in a situation where patience is a virtue.
On 27 July 1984, the local Olney Daily Mail ran a small article identifying Burrows as the discoverer of a local cave, but provided little more except for this hope: "...the university [with which he was in contact] will probably begin the dig next year. At that time, more information can be given."
Though Burrows sought help from the scientific world, he received mixed reactions from it. Soon afterwards, one "amateur archaeologist" after another pressed his doorbell. Each one almost immediately asked to see the cave. It's like a person in a plaster cast getting constantly asked whether someone can see or sign his/her plaster; at some point the answer will be "no", because it feels as if no one is interested in you but only in your plaster. For Burrows, it felt like all they wanted was to see the cave; they had no basic respect or regard for his own wishes, often not even bothering to ask about them. People such as these came away disappointed, hurt because Burrows did not want to play their game, and they often voiced scathing opinions. Some even considered Burrows's presence incidental.
One attempt to commercialise the cave occurred in 1994 when Harry Hubbard and Paul Kelly claimed the ancient alphabets on the stones to be a combination of Latin and Etruscan. The inscriptions revealed, they claimed, that the tomb of Alexander the Great was buried in Illinois. What made Hubbard and Kelly stand out from competing theorists was their Jack Russell�type attacks on anyone who disagreed with them. They have also been described as appearing "to spend the majority of their time seeking investors and peddling home-made videotapes".
They did not need Burrows; they were going to locate the tomb themselves. They are typical examples in a long line of people who have tried to use the cave for their own financial benefit, for fame or to confirm their pet theory�and most often all three mixed into one lethal cocktail.
In the "pet theory" category was Joseph P. Mahan, author of the 1983 book The Secret, who suggested in a 1991 lecture that the cave was connected with "sun-related semi-divine mortals [who] were the descendants of extraterrestrial immortal progenitors who had come to Earth in fire ships, had resided for a while [and] had upgraded the humanoids they found here by modifying the genes of these children of Earth, thus producing a hybrid progeny". Such a nonsensical conclusion is not based on anything at all that Burrows ever said about the case, but it is clear that it rubbed off badly on Burrows's image and the cave.
Another example of how the cave became a hostage in other people's battles is the story of Richard Flavin, who used the cave to persecute Frank Joseph. For more than 15 years, Joseph had nothing to do with the story until, in his position as a writer for The Ancient American magazine, he became interested and eventually wrote a book about it (The Lost Treasure of King Juba; Bear & Co., 2003).
But Flavin instead focused on Joseph's past as a neo-Nazi (dating back to the early 1970s) and uses this as ammunition to "prove" that anyone suggesting the cave could be real is hence a neo-Nazi. Flavin met Burrows on a few occasions, but his interpretation of events is spurious at best and his account reads more like that of a Christian missionary in the lands of the "primitives" or a communist witch-hunter of the 1950s than a scientific approach to the subject (see http://www.flavinscorner.com/falling.htm).
In the final analysis, the story of the Burrows Cave is typical for a finding of this nature. Just look at other similar discoveries and replace the names; the general storyline would hardly alter. The same basic stand-off is here, with the scientific experts quick to condemn the artefacts they were shown as "obvious forgeries". By default, the artefacts could not be genuine, for we all "know" that Columbus was the first to reach America.
When it came to the amateurs, Burrows was unprepared for and unaware of the amount of in-fighting and controversy that exists in most amateur organisations�though communities such as those interested in UFOs, the mystery of Rennes-le-Ch�teau and crop circles have so far easily outperformed anything that the "diffusionists" (those researching anomalous evidence in the New World, suggestive of transoceanic contacts) have been capable of. Burrows had thrown out a giant bone and the dogs were fighting over it. In the process, he was eaten�and so was his story. Ground-Penetrating Radar Tests
Unfortunately, Russell Burrows's personal disillusionment led him to dynamite the entrance to the cave. He reportedly did this in 1989, three years before his co-written book The Mystery Cave of Many Faces was published (with Fred Rydholm; Marquette, 1992). It's an extremely level-headed account of his discovery of the cave and the artefacts inside�and something that he considered to be his final word on the topic.
But though Burrows often claimed to have lost interest in his discovery (largely due to the difficult people he had to deal with), he still returned to it, like to an old flame.
The fact that he could not let go, even though there was nothing in it for him any more, should perhaps be seen as the best evidence that Burrows had indeed made a legitimate discovery. For if this discovery had started as a money-making scheme in 1982, by 1992 he had long abandoned such hope.
But the story did not die. In 1993, diffusionist thinkers now had a new magazine to turn to, The Ancient American, which over the course of the subsequent decade continued to follow the story of the cave. In 1999, the magazine's founder/publisher Wayne May decided that if no one else could bring about a change in the situation, he would do so himself.
Having reported on the subject for the previous six years, spoken to the man and heard him out, May got Burrows to sign a contract and to disclose and show him the location of the cave�despite his initial belief that Burrows had lied about the location and had actually laid a false trail.
I have to say that, from my personal dealings with Burrows in 1992 and 1993, I found him to be a man of honour. If he promised something, he would do it (cue for the critics to laugh at what they will see is my "obvious" gullibility). And that, it seems, is what May felt as well.
So, despite his initial reluctance to believe, May finally knew the location and persevered with his investigations. His ground-penetrating radar indicated that "a cave" was indeed there. The problem was how to get in, considering that Burrows's explosion a decade earlier had destroyed the entrance. Unfortunately, it soon became evident that the explosion had not only blocked the entrance but had also damaged the interior of the tunnel.
During May's various attempts to gain access, each time he stumbled upon huge quantities of water. This seemed to indicate that the explosion had diverted the flow of an underground river and as a result had caused water to gush into the underground complex. It therefore looked like salvaging anything from the underground complex would be terribly complex�and largely outside May's capabilities. Sceptics versus Truth-seekers
In a nutshell, this is a nearly 25-year-long story that has left hardly anyone who has looked into it untouched or without an opinion. It is all too easy to label Burrows a hoaxer. People who have known and worked with him have called him many things, but not a fabricator of evidence or a liar. He has an explosive nature on occasions and has sometimes not been the best judge of character. But Burrows's character flaws are largely incidental in this narrative. Only his sceptics focus too heavily on them, whereas they should be focusing instead on whether or not he could actually have fabricated any, let alone such huge numbers of, inscribed stones.
If we were placed in the same situation, the end result would be the same, for it is in the nature of such discoveries and how we react to them that they tend to produce the same kind of outcomes. The sceptics would call it an "obvious hoax" and the proponents would call it "clear evidence", finally proving their respective arguments, whatever they may be.
So, the fate of the cave was sealed, doomed, from the moment that Burrows slid down into it.
Where does this leave us? For sceptics to cry foul, they need to come up with better than "obvious" statements. There is no evidence that Burrows faked the stones. The sceptics argue that Burrows was known to work with wood and create wooden artefacts in his spare time. Indeed. This they see as "evidence" that he faked the stones.
More importantly, there is evidence that a cave system exists where Burrows claims it exists. If it is all a hoax, the sceptics will need to provide evidence instead of repeatedly using the word "obvious".
Still, even if the cave system is there, it may perhaps be lost to us forever. Any operation that could be mounted to provide a conclusive answer would cost an extraordinary amount of money�and such resources are "obviously" not in the hands of the diffusionists.
So it seems that, once again, the establishment has won the fight�and that may be the only obvious thing about this entire story. From Old World to New?
What sense can we make of all this? Could a golden sarcophagus, allegedly found in an Illinois cave, be evidence of pre-Columbian transoceanic travel between the "Old World" and the Americas, as so many people have claimed?
While Burrows described what the cave looked like and what it contained, fortunately most of the artefacts removed from the cave were photographed early on, in part due to the efforts of James Schertz and Fred Rydholm. Various researchers have looked at this collection, and archaeologists have been quick to point out the mismatches.
But most cultures are a mismatch of cultures! London and New York are prime examples of how various cultures create a new one. Things were no different in ancient times, Alexandria probably being the best example.
An important clue is that some of the stone slabs displayed a signature that was known in the Old World. It belonged to one Alexander Helios, son of the infamous Cleopatra and Marc Antony and twin brother of Cleopatra Selene, the future co-ruler of Mauritania (in Africa's western Sahara). This is the angle that Hubbard and Kelly built upon.
Amongst Burrows's earliest team of amateur researchers were Jack Ward and Warren Cook, the latter who died in 1989. Cook's analysis of the artefacts made him conclude that creating them would have taken thousands of hours. But more importantly, Cook continued Ward's analysis of their possible origin and argued that they were most likely the remains of a Libyan�Iberian expedition. He identified Mauritania's King Ptolemaeus I (1 BC � 40 AD), son of Cleopatra Selene and King Juba II (52-50 BC � 23 AD), as the man responsible for this transoceanic voyage. Could this have been possible?
The rulers of Mauritania had fallen foul of the Roman emperors, if only because of the economic power that Mauritania had become, turning the scales on who was in control of whom. When the Roman Empire decided to redress that balance, the Mauritanian king Juba II and his family had to flee. It's possible that he used the knowledge of the seas that his ancestors, the Phoenicians, had gathered: he knew the location of the Azores, whose goods he was able to sell at the highest prices in Rome and elsewhere.
So, if the Burrows Cave artefacts are genuine and the interpretation correct, it's possible that the Phoenician-informed Mauritanian royal family sailed further west, beyond the Azores, to the Americas.
If they ended up in Central America, perhaps they entered the Mississippi River and travelled north until reaching Illinois�where they settled, far removed from the squabbles of the Old World.
The cave artefacts are not the only evidence of the presence of an enigmatic people in the first century AD. According to a local Native American legend, the region contains the tomb of a king who was not native to America. The tribe once knew the location, but this information is now lost. Could this location be the same as the Burrows Cave?
Furthermore, it is known that Juba II ordered a golden sarcophagus to be prepared for the mausoleum that had been built for him in Tipaza (in modern-day Algeria). This was one of the prized possessions that the Romans had tried to get their hands on, but they never did find the sarcophagus or the Mauritanian king. Official history is silent on the fate of both.
Yet it is clear that King Juba II must have died and that he and his sarcophagus must have ended up somewhere, perhaps in Illinois. That seems "obvious" logic to me�and logic may be all that we can work with for the foreseeable future. ? About the Author:

Not all of the facts of this case are clear and, as you'll understand later, difficult to verify. Some of the details are contradictory, fuzzy, or may have been sensationalized by imaginative writers. But even if part of this story is true, it represents one of the greatest discoveries of our age.

The Discovery

The gray overcast sky hung low in the isolated valley on the cool autumn afternoon. The surrounding mountain peaks had been masked by the heavy clouds for days. A deep rumble shook the ground, sending animals scurrying and startling birds from their roosts in the trees. The thunder-like rumbling from above the clouds grew louder. The valley had never heard thunder like this. The rumbling intensified to a heavy roar. A small group of hunters stalking deer cast their eyes to the sky, expecting the clouds to break open from the deafening thunder with a torrent of rain. But this wasn't thunder at all. A bright flash burst forth from the ceiling of clouds. The hunters realized this was not lightning. They had never seen anything like this before. A glowing orb streaked through the sky above their heads as they watched in dazed disbelief. The orb wobbled and veered as it fell, as if it were trying to fight gravity and keep itself from smashing into the ground. The hunters readied their weapons, not knowing what threat this mystery from the sky might present. Suddenly the thundering roar stopped, and the orb made one final veer and a slight upward turn before slamming into the earth. The hunters were nearly knocked off their feet from the shockwave. The thing -- whatever it was -- hit the ground just beyond a line of trees, perhaps an hour's walk away, the hunters estimated. A cloud of dirt and leaves rose above the tree line. The hunters debated whether or not they should investigate. Each of them was afraid, but none was willing to admit it. Tightly gripping their weapons, they headed in the direction of the great thing from the clouds. They'd have to hurry; evening was drawing near. The sun had already set behind the mountains by the time they made their way through the sparse growth of trees. Then there it was before them. An indescribable thing, half as high as the trees and reflecting the remaining light of the day like a huge, wet, shiny rock. The hunters couldn't find the words to speak of what this thing might be -- a shape completely alien to their experience. They stared at it, hesitant to move closer. Then ... a hole appeared in the side of the great shiny thing ... and something was moving inside. The year, by our calendar, was about 10,000 B.C.

Obviously, I have fictionalized the details of this story, but if the interpretation of an exciting discovery made in 1938 is correct, this is a true story. The story of the Dropa.

What the Professor Found

The story of the Dropa for us begins in the same place, but the year is 1938. The mountains are the Baian-Kara-Ula mountains on the border that divides China and Tibet. An archaeological expedition, led by Chi Pu Tei, has trudged into the barely accessible mountain range, and has happened upon some caves that had obviously been occupied by a primitive people long ago. But what he and his team find in these remote caves is something highly unusual and, if verified, could change everything we know about our distant past.

Not all of the facts of this case are clear and, as you'll understand later, difficult to verify. Some of the details are contradictory, fuzzy, or may have been sensationalized by imaginative writers. But even if part of this story is true, it represents one of the greatest discoveries of our age.

Chi Pu Tei, a professor of archaeology at Beijing University, was leading some his students on an expedition to survey a series of interlinking caves in the Himalyan mountains. According to one account, the caves may have been artificially carved, and were more like a complex system of tunnels and underground storerooms. The walls were squared and glazed, as if cut into the mountain with a source of extreme heat.
Inside the caves were several ancient, but neatly arranged burial sites, and in them the skeletal remains of a strange people. The skeletons, measuring a little more than four feet tall, were frail and spindly with disproportionately large skulls. At first. it was suggested by a member of the team that these might be the remains of an unknown species of mountain gorilla. Professor Chi Pu Tei is reputed to have responded, "Who ever heard of apes burying one another?" Yet, what kind of human was this?

More discoveries made further in the caves all but ruled out the idea that these were apes. On the walls were carved pictograms of the heavens: the sun, the moon, the stars, and the Earth with lines of dots connecting them. Then the team made the most incredible discovery of all. Half-buried in the dirt floor of the cave was an odd stone disk, obviously fashioned by the hand of an intelligent creature. The disk was approximately nine inches in diameter and three-quarters of an inch thick. In the exact center was a perfectly round, 3/4" hole, and etched in its face was a fine groove spiraling out from the center to the rim, making the disk look for all the world like some kind of primitive phonograph record.

This one plate, dated to be between 10,000 and 12,000 years old -- older by far than the great pyramids of Egypt -- was fantastic enough, but the wonder was multiplied manyfold. In all, 716 such plates were found. And each held an incredible secret. The groove, upon further inspection, was not a groove at all, but a continuous line of strange carved hieroglyphics -- writing!

The tiny, almost microscopic characters were in a language never encountered before. It wasn't until
1962 that another Chinese scientist was able to decode the message of the stone plates -- a message so incredible and earth-shattering that the Prehistory Department of the Beijing Academy prohibited its translation to be published. Eventually, the message was published, and what is says will astound you.

The Message

Dr. Tsum Um Nui felt the smooth face of the disk with the palm of his hand. "What could this disk possibly be?" he wondered. He knew of its recent history; how it was discovered in 1938 by a Chinese archaeologist in a cave high in the Himalayans, along with 715 similar disks; how buried nearby were skeletons of a strange tribe of people averaging only a little over four feet high; how it was found that each disk was inscribed with a tiny groove that spiraled around its face, and that the groove turned out to be an unknown hieroglyphic. He also knew how the disks, as remarkable as they were, had been simply labeled along with other finds of the expedition and stored away at Beijing University for 20 years. During that time, others had attempted to decipher the strange inscriptions, but without success. Perhaps now, in 1962, he could. The professor painstakingly transcribed the characters from the disk to paper. The writing was so small he had to use a magnifying glass to see it clearly. But the stones were old -- perhaps 12,000 years old, it was estimated -- and much of the hieroglyphics were difficult to make out or had been worn away by time and the elements. As he worked, many questions nagged the professor. How did these primitive people fashion these precise stones? How did they manage the almost microscopic writing? Who were they and what was the purpose of these hundreds of stones? Once the characters were transcribed, Dr. Tsum Um Nui began the arduous task of trying to decode its message. Eventually, he began to make progress. A word emerged. Then another. A phrase became understandable, then an entire sentence. He had broken the code. He discerned that the messages on the stones were written by a people who called themselves the Dropa. But what they were saying to him 12,000 years later made no sense. What the Dropa had written must have been one of their cultural myths, or was part of some prehistoric religious ceremony. Or was it? When he had completed the translation as much as he could, the professor sat back in his chair in disbelief. The story the Dropa related was nothing short of astounding. How would his colleagues react? How might the world react if this story was true? The professor wrote up a paper on his findings and presented it to the university for publication. Their reaction was swift and emphatic: the paper would not be published.
The Academy of Prehistory expressly forbade him to publish or even speak of his findings. The world, the academy decided, should not know about the Dropa and their fateful journey to Earth.

Dr. Tsum Um Nui's findings were eventually published, however. Just two years later, he published the paper entitled, "The Grooved Script Concerning Spaceships Which, as Recorded on the Discs, Landed on Earth 12,000 Years Ago." By some accounts, the academy relented and gave permission to the professor to publish the paper, and by other accounts he published it despite the official ban. In either case, his translation and his theory were met with ridicule by the archaeology establishment. The translation was just too shattering to be taken at face value or as an historical account. It just could not be true. It would change everything we know about our history and humankind's place in the universe.

What the Stones Reveal

The Dropa disks tell the story of a space probe from a distant planet that crash-landed in the Baian-Kara-Ula mountains of the Himalayas. The occupants of the spacecraft -- the Dropa -- found refuge in the caves of the mountains. Despite their peaceful intentions, the Dropa were misunderstood by members of the Ham tribe who were occupying neighboring caves and who hunted down the aliens and even killed some of them. A translation of one of the passages says: "The Dropa came down from the clouds in their aircraft. Our men, women, and children hid in the caves ten times before sunrise. When at last they understood the sign language of the Dropa, they realized that the newcomers had peaceful intentions...."

The stones go on to say how the Dropa were unable to repair their disabled spacecraft and could not return to their home planet, and so were stranded on Earth.
If that's true, have their descendents survived?

Today, the isolated area is inhabited by two tribes of people who, in fact, call themselves the Dropa and the Han. Anthropologists have been unable to categorize either tribe into any other known race; they are neither Chinese nor Tibetan. Both tribes are of pygmy stature, adults measuring between 3-foot-6 and
4-foot-7 with an average height of 4-foot-2, and body weights of 38 to 52 pounds. They are yellow-skinned with thin bodies and disproportionately large heads, corresponding to the skeletal remains found in the caves in 1938. They have sparse hair on their bodies and have large eyes that are not Asian in aspect, but have pale blue irises.

Supposedly, there also is an ancient Chinese tale that might bear-out the Dropa's claims. The tale relates the story of a small, slender, yellow-skinned people who descended to the Earth from the clouds, and who were shunned by everyone because of their ugliness.

Strange Properties

In 1968, the Dropa stones came to the attention of W.
Saitsew, a Russian scientist who re-published the findings of Tsum Um Nui and conducted tests on the disks that revealed some very peculiar properties.
Physically, the granite stones contained high concentrations of cobalt and other metals -- a very hard stone indeed that would have made it difficult for the primitive people to carve the lettering, especially with such minute characters. When testing a disk with an oscillograph, a surprising oscillation rhythm was recorded as if, the scientists said, they had once been electrically charged or had functioned as electrical conductors.

Whatever their true nature, origin, or meaning, the Dropa stones present an intriguing puzzle for archaeologists and anthropologists. Were the Dropa truly visitors from some distant planet, or is their story merely a creation myth imagined by a primitive culture? If the latter is true, it adds one more such "myth" to the large number of stories from ancient cultures that claim their descendents came to Earth from the heavens. And if the former is true, the Dropa stones could represent the first recorded visit of an alien civilization to our planet. For now, the Dropa stones remain unexplained.

Today, we think of art and science as representing two diametrically opposed fields of human endeavor. With counted exceptions, the people who are dedicated to one field or the other are at opposite ends of the personality chain. One either does science or art, but seldom both. The artwork of the ancient past is thought to be wholly on the side of art, with little or nothing to do with science. At best, it may be conceded that some architectural constructions may have required a high level of engineering skill, but even that is thought to have been within the realm of technology and not science as such. Furthermore, there are those who persistently refuse to consider any contribution to science by the ancient cultures.

In our studies of science in ancient artwork, we have come to realize that we know very little about the inner workings of the ancient past. We have no knowledge of the computational math behind much of the ancient artwork and ancient reckoning systems. Such documents as the Rhind Papyrus, deal with common household computations, although it is cited as an example of the computational math involved in mathematics of ancient Egypt. Hardly anything is known about the mathematics of other cultures, such as the maya system.

The absence of such knowledge does not impede the dissemination of wide held views about the worth (or lack of worth) of ancient science. In fact, the very concept of science is all but thought to have been non-existent then by most scholars now. There are many exceptions, whereby scholars and laymen alike are attempting to unveil the way in which ancient cultures functioned, not only at the level of archaeological digs, but at the level of abstracted, theoretical thinking.

Many theories and ideas exist regarding a possible relationship among the different archaeological sites around the world embracing many different cultures. Those societies that constructed pyramidal structures are often thought to have come from the same source. The reasoning questions the coincidence of all those pyramids having been built without there having been some kind of shared source of knowledge. Simply, why did all those ancient cultures think of building pyramids; why didn't some of them build structures into the ground instead of upwards to the sky; or, why didn't some of them build vast flat platforms as far as the eye could see; and so on. The similar characteristics of the pyramidal structures around the world cause one to think that they all came from the same school of thought.

For that reason many of these structures are researched in an isolated fashion, as of the culture in which they exist, without relating a structure of one culture with another from a distinct culture. Comparative analyses are made at times, but usually with the purpose of denying any relationship among the cultures being compared. Exceptions, however, do exist, as we shall review briefly below.

No historical evidence exists that proves these ancient pyramidal structures were related to one another, other than the historical fact that they all existed in the framework of the ancient past. But, the shared trait of having existed in the past is nothing more than circumstantial evidence to many scholars, ergo, meaning no evidence at all.

The first person we ever heard speak about a grid system for the entire planet was Hugh H. Harleston, Jr, back in 1974 in Mexico City. His analysis of the site of Teotihuacan and the subsequent discovery of markers placed throughout the Western Hemisphere, lead him to propose the idea that theTeotihuacan site, in fact, was based on a geodesic grid. In our analyses of the Teotihuacan site some twenty-odd years later, we visualized a grid system based on the geometrical designs within the pyramidal structures of that site. More recently, we have published other considerations regarding basic designs of a grid system within the Teotihuacan site and that of Giza.

(Cfr., Earth/matriX, Essay Nos. 83, 85).

Our analyses are based mainly on the numbers of the series of perfect right triangles (Cfr., Earth/matriX, Essay No. 64: "the 3-4-5 Perfect Right

Triangle: 5-12-13 and 6-8-10). The perspective that we have followed is that of considering the pyramidal structures within a specific site to other pyramidal structures within that same site. We have compared this internal view of the layout of the structures, without any regard to the placement of the sites on the longitudinal and latitudinal coordinates of the planet.

Carl P. Munck, in his work entitled, The Code, analyzed and compared the coordinate system of the different pyramidal sites around the world. In his analysis, he has assigned the site of Giza, of ancient Egypt (kemi) the starting point for his grid system or, pyramidal matrix as he refers to it.

In time, his work is being recognized as having posited the idea of a matrix corresponding to the layout for all or most of the major pyramidal sites around the world, irrespective of the particular culture involved.

Personally, I know of no one else who has studied in detail the maps of these sites and related their coordinates on the globe in the manner in which Carl P. Munck has done so.

We shall examine, in a much less detailed manner, possible relationships and characteristics among some of the ancient pyramidal structures and sites around the world. Even if one shows the pyramidal sites to be related as of the geometry of a circle and a sphere (in terms of degrees, radians and the concept of pi), the logic of numbers is insufficient to convince most readers of the conscious design behind the placement of those sites. In our discussion, we shall rely more on the geometry of design than upon the mathematics to discern possible relationships among the different sites.

Obviously, we cannot prove that the ancient sites were related, but the discussion may be suggestive of the need for such a proof. Most scholars believe that the different sites are unrelated to begin with, and therefore need no proof.

The Problematic

In order to write this essay, we had to confront a series of problems, which may not have been solved as such. The main problem is to write about relationships in space-time/movement on a single plane while conceptualizing the shape of a sphere and elements upon the surface of that sphere: the Earth. The problem concerns one of perspective. We shall be viewing a series of lines on a flat surface, when the surface is actually spherical in shape.

In this sense, any relationship that we may ponder may easily be misunderstood simply by not assuming the suggested perspective. The suggestion to the reader, then, is to look at the illustrations as they appear here on paper, then imagine them as best one can on a sphere. That is no easy task. And, just as we are quite unable at times to do such imagining, we can further imagine just how difficult this must have been for the ancient peoples who did not benefit from the knowledge of knowing that the Earth is not a perfect sphere. For this concept of visualizing the Earth's surface, one is thereby referred to Cahill's Butterfly World Map, in which the world is divided into 4 lunes or, eight curvilinear triangles.

Carl P. Munck (The Code), as we mentioned earlier, has discerned a pyramidal matrix which links most of the pyramidal sites around the world through a grid system based on the numerical division of the Earth's spherical-like shape. Mr. Munck's work has proven to be quite extensive and intensive, reflecting nonetheless the difficulties in conceptualizing such a system for the planet Earth. Devising such a grid system based on a number series and constants poses at times insurmountable problems.

1) The measurement of the Earth does not accommodate numbers easily because planet Earth is not a perfect sphere. Therefore, the detailed sequential ordering of coordinate points on the Earth enters into conflict with this numerical straight jacket.

2) The very act of measurement itself defies the characteristics of space-time/movement in terms of carrying numbers to ten-place decimal endings and beyond. In other words, there comes a physical point where things/events cannot be measured as such.

3) Numbers can be related, as of the logic of numbers themselves, without any relationship actually existing in reality in terms of space-time/movement.

4) The procedure in The Code produces relational numbers as of the concept of p (3.1415926535). The author takes double p (6.283185307) as a given or constant. Then, he further relies upon the cube root of double pi (1.845270149). This choice of numbers stems from the belief that the ratio of the perimeter-to-height of the Great Pyramid of Giza is foretelling of a double pi relationship. However, part of the problem in discerning ancient reckoning is to know the height of the Great Pyramid, about which we can only speculate at this late date given the deteriorated condition of the Great Pyramid itself. Therefore, one of the sought-after results of research in ancient artwork is to discern the height of this particular pyramid; to begin the analysis with a given figure (480.3471728 feet) weakens the analysis.

5) The procedure of The Code employs symbolic numbers selectively discerned from the ancient artwork itself. For example, the number "nine" is chosen (representing "4 sides, 4 lower corners and apex" to the Great Pyramid) in order to propose using the base number 1.845270149 to the 9th power (= 248.0502134). This number then becomes the constant for the entire grid system of The Code. The 248.0502134 number (the cube of double pi), serves then as a way of making all numbers relational within the grid system.

Understandably, any number could have been used in this manner with similar results.

6) The Code also begins its analysis with the perimeter measurement of the Great Pyramid (3018.110298 feet), which obviously does not result from measurement, but from computations based on pi and double pi considerations of the presentation. This can be easily understood when we then observe how this number when divided by the given height of 480.3471728 just happens to produce exactly the 6.283185307 figure for double pi.

7) All numbers are filtered through the double pi cube number (248.0502134), and therefore are relational in terms of pi itself. The numbers of longitude and latitude are multiplied times this particular constant (2pi-cube).

8) The grid system is then made to float by changing the coordinate of the Great Pyramid so that it occupies the 00o 00' 00"0 coordinate on the grid itself. All coordinates of the system are then modified accordingly by adding/subtracting to them the original coordinate of the Great Pyramid (31 o 08' 00"8).

9) The Code obtains numbers (measurements) by multiplying unlike elements and dividing degrees and minutes into decimal place numbers in order to obtain supposedly exact representations of seconds then to be expressed in the degree-minute-second system. Consider the procedure for the vector of

Teotihuacan:

Example: 55043.7314 divided by 38 degrees divided by 39 minutes equals

37.14151916 minutes, which is expressed as follows in The Code:55043.7314 : 38o : 39' = 37.14151916"

It is impossible to divide a decimal-like number (55043.7314) by the degree-minute sixty-based number (38 degrees and 39 minutes) in order to obtain once more a decimal-like number expressed now in minutes (37.14151916"). In any case, the latter expression is generally written as: 38o 39' 37"14151916, without the seconds being expressed to such incommensurable decimal places.

10) The Code takes for granted that the ancients utilized only a system based on the 360-degree circle. In our studies, we have seen that a circle may have been divided into any number of reckoned numbers (260c, 364c, 365c, 374.4c, 378c etc.). This possibility also has implications for the concept of pi, which may have been relational and proportional in these different instances, whereby the Nineveh number 2268 may have been a fractal expression for pi on a 260c circle. For, the fractal number 2.268 is relational to pi as of a 260-degree/segment circle.

11) The Code also posits the fixed idea that there is only one answer for each computation. Our studies have shown that the ancient reckoning system may have been relational, with multi-layered meanings to a given element.

Depending upon the perspective assumed, a single element may have enjoyed many different meanings. Instead of a fixed grid system, the system may have been flexible, relational and, proportional. Precise meanings are avoided in such a system. In other words, there is no single answer to a particular computation; all meanings become inter-dependent.

In spite of all of these negative-sounding observations, we offer them in a positive tone. We do believe and affirm that Carl P. Munck has discovered the reasoning behind the pyramidal matrix of the ancient archaeological sites around the world. We do consider his work to represent the mathematical basis of computation that may have been involved in situating the different sites around the world.

Professor Carl P. Munck's numbers are certainly correct to a degree as of his detailed computations. And, were he to consider the possibility that the ancients also employed a 260-degree circle/sphere, a 378-degree circle/sphere, or even a 374.4-degree circle/sphere, then all of the numbers would change accordingly. The pyramidal matrix of the ancient past was undoubtedly much more complex than we may imagine. Depending upon whether one is computing sidereal orbital times or, synodic orbital times, the abstracted circle/sphere involved could undergo a theoretically distinct division of segments (i.e., degrees). Contemporary society has grown up with an inherited 360-degree circle/sphere, and it is difficult for us to imagine any other option. In fact, when we imagine such an option in grade school, our teacher would invariably suppress that by telling us "a sphere has three-hundred-and-sixty degrees". That is what we have always been taught.

The ancients appear to have been more flexible in their outlook. The historically chosen numbers coming out of their reckoning systems allow for computations that are more flexible and seem to have been based on other day-counts (i.e., 260c, 364c, 378c, 374.4c, etc.).

Many more comments could be in order, but the theme that occupies us at the moment is not how others have attempted to resolve the interrelationships of the ancient sites around the world, but how we might view them from the perspective of geometry. Obviously, geometry and mathematics march hand in hand; one is implied in the other. Nonetheless, given the very monumental nature of the ancient structures and the obvious geometrical designs therein, we shall concentrate on distinguishing relationships based on interconnecting points, lines, circles, triangles, etc., which might exemplify the underlying designs of the ancient artwork itself.

No doubt we are all attempting to lay bare those suspected designs behind the ancient artwork. It is inconceivable for anyone to think that structures such as the pyramids of Giza and Teotihuacan, and those of so many other sites, were constructed without any pre-conceived design in mind. All of us are attempting to comprehend the apparent design elements in order to understand better the very intentions of those who built the pyramidal structures. We suspect that these structures mean something, and we all want to know what those meanings represent. And, as in any search, we must explore each and every pathway until the search is complete. In the following procedure, surely many mistakes are ignored by this author, but we are confident that by reviewing our visualization of the theoretically abstracted lines and inter-relationships of the design elements, we may conclude at least one thing. These monumental structures around the world were constructed with a definite purpose in mind, and possibly a common or shared purpose.

So many scholars have attempted in the past to convince the world of the inter-related nature of past accomplishments in different ancient societies and cultures. But, resistance has been tenacious. Few wish to admit the obvious; many cling to the fixed idea that the different ancient cultures were completely separated from one another by the distances separating them on this immense planet. Most authors are convinced that the ancient societies never came to even know the extent of the planet, its spherical boundaries. The only way that this idea can continue to be fixed in our minds is to continue to believe that all of the ancient populations and their monumental works were each one an isolated example of the human being facing its environment alone.

If it were the case that each ancient structural site were an isolated example of human ingenuity created and re-created as a response to that environment, then, one would expect to find a completely unrelated existence for each site. No two sites should have any kind of visible relationship between themselves. As writers like Harleston and Munck have attempted to show, each in his own reasoning and analysis, the many varied sites are related, but at times in most unsuspecting ways. Aside from the mathematics of it all, the abstracted geometry may offer a distinct insight into the math. Carl P. Munck has made triangulations among the different sites in his extensive work. We shall build upon such triangulations in a similar manner, although without the specifics of the math. Hopefully, that would be an aspect that professor Munck may soon lay bare in his writing.

The Geography and the Geometry

In the Earth/matriX series of essays and extracts we have offered our share of analyzing the numbers of the ancient reckoning systems. In this essay, we wish to concentrate on a visualization of the inter-relationships of the ancient sites identified around the globe. Our analysis, from the start, does not purport to reflect any preciseness developed to the umpteenth scale of points and lines. For all of the preciseness that the construction of the Great Pyramid reflects, the ancient system would appear to be based on approximations of varying degrees and relationships. For example, the concept of a connecting-line, in fact, would appear to be rather the idea of a path or corridor, and not a line limited to the molecularly narrow thin line imagined by infinite numerical preciseness. The idea of a precise point

(dot) or line, taken to the contemporary view of the concept of a singularity, leads one to an abstracted point/line that is virtually incommensurable.

One has only to recall that the monuments of ancient sites generally are grouped together within a specific boundary or complex. Even the site of Giza is bordered six miles to the north by the Pyramids of Abu Roash and about eight miles to the south by the Pyramids of Abusir. Although one may measure points and lines to an infinite minute level, it is understood that the space occupied by the site is itself significant. An entire site or group of sites may represent a corridor, a path for the forces thus conceived.

In this sense, there is no single, all-determinant point or line, which may be defined to the minute degree. Rather, each point and line are determined as of the relationships invoked. And, a single point or line may function as one meaning in relationship to a particular design element, while functioning with another meaning in relation to some other design element.

The same point may be conceived as the center at one moment and on the perimeter at another moment. "The Center" does not exist as such, but exists in and of each particular event and relationship discerned.

In this way, the ancient artwork appears to reflect all things conceived, which means that any one event-point or event-line may have been conceived in every imaginable way, which means that all other imaginable and unimaginable ways of conceiving that event still remain.

For our analysis, we shall employ an outline drawing of the continents and land masses on a Mercator map of the world. We have shown only some of the ancient sites and a few of the main rivers of the world. We shall speculate with specific relationships by drawing interconnecting lines among the ancient sites, and discuss possible meanings thereof. We shall be discussing some numerical relationships, but only insofar as they are related to the geometry of the abstracted points and lines. The geometrical illustrations are simply approximations and represent an attempt to offer an overall view of the possibility that the different ancient sites were relationally placed as of a grid system or matrix.

Let us begin our presentation with a connecting line between the Poverty Point area within the state of Louisiana, near the Mississippi River basin, and the Giza site of ancient kemi, near the river basin of the Nile.

A discerning feature of these sites is that they are both situated near a major river basin. And, if we consider them to be situated along a latitudinal pathway, although not on the exact same coordinate, an apparent straight line may be drawn to connect them, with each of the nearby river basins forming a windmill image. One could even envisage this geometrical pattern to be reflective of the ollin design for movement that is profusely employed in ancient Mesoamerican artwork.

In the previous illustration, we have simply connected the site of Easter Island to the site of Giza, understanding that this may represent another pathway or corridor along the grid. It should be noted that this pathway runs almost parallel to another major river basin, that of the Amazon River.

Now, let us draw a line at a right angle to the site of Poverty Point towards the line between Easter Island and Giza. From the perspective of geometrical concepts, the very idea of a right triangle is commonly found in many of the designs of ancient artwork, and should not surprise us to represent a viable concept on the planetary grid system or matrix. At first, one might think that the drawing of such a line is entirely arbitrary, given the fact that it breaks with the idea of having a relationship to a major river basin area. Yet, as we shall see below, its conceptualization is significant for other dividing points and lines along the relationships of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.

From the previous illustration, one may observe the direction of flow of the three major river basins involved in the design. The flow of the currents of these three rivers establishes a counterclockwise motion on the face of the planet along the different lines of the corridors drawn between the sites.

Now, let us draw a line from the area of Poverty Point to the site of Easter Island, along with another perpendicular line from the line between Easter Island and Giza to the area of Poverty Point.

As we mark off the mid-point of the perpendicular line on the previous illustration, we then observe how another perpendicular line would pass across the tip of the southern continent of the Western Hemisphere as indicated in the following illustration. It seems all too apparent that by joining these three ancient archaeological sites, with interconnecting lines, and marking off the perpendicular lines as shown, one would not expect to see any geometrical relevancy to the natural landscape of the continents. However, as may be observed, the abstracted geometry fits extremely well with natural cut-off points such as the tip of the southern continent. Too many elements seem to coincide in this illustration to call them mere coincidences obtained through happenstance or chance. The placement of the sites in relation to one another, not only reflect a relevancy in numbers as determined by the analyses of Carl P. Munck, but the natural function of geometrical figures is entirely reflected in these same sites and their interconnected lines.

Now, let us extend the line of the corridor joining the Poverty Point area and the site of Giza beyond to the East. The extended corridor between Poverty Point and Giza passes along the mouth of the river basin of the Euphrates River, traverses the river basin of the Ganges River, and runs along the basin and into the mouth of the Yangtze River in China. And, furthermore, if we now draw a line between the area of the mouth of the Yangtze River and aster Island, we see that other major river basins lie upon this widen corridor. The mouth of the Ganges River in Bangladesh and the mouth of the Niger River in Nigeria fall almost directly within this particular corridor.

From the previous illustrations, simply from the perspective of abstracted geometry, one obtains the impression that what writers like Hugh H.

Harleston, Jr., and Carl P. Munck have been stating for decades now in mathematical terms is certain. Some kind of geodesic or matrix design exists within the placement of the different archaeological sites around the world.

Furthermore, the geometrical designs reveal that the paths or corridors between the different sites appear to have relevancy for the natural make-up of the continents. In other words, the humanly determined sites reflect features and characteristics apparent in nature. In the previous cases we have seen how the geometry appears to reflect a direct relationship with the major river basins of the world.

Now, if we extend some of these geometrically relevant lines (paths or

corridors) even further, then we may observe more relationships with other features of the planet Earth. For example, if we extend the mid-point line as drawn below, we may then see a relationship appear with pre-historic sites within Spain and Europe.

Besides the relationship, then, with other sites throughout ancient history, we may also observe how these lines (paths or corridors) reflect the tectonic patterns of Earth. In other words, the corridors appear to reflect the inert movement of the tectonic plates of the continents. Consider the following.

Nazca lies between Easter Island and Giza. The base of the triangle, it should be noted, aligns the sites of Easter Island, Nazca and the Giza complex on almost a straight line. The baseline of the triangular alignment appears to fall between the Nazca-Palpa region and Lake Titicaca, in Peru.

Further study is required to illustrate the relationship, then, of the Nazca-Palpa region to the other sites around the world and hydrography.

Now, let us draw parallel lines to the previous mid-point line, thereby establishing lines that appear to reflect the general angle of inclination of the outline of the continents. From this angular view, one should note as many relevant relationships as possible. For example, notice how Easter Island aligns with the natural cut-off point of the northernmost tip of the northern continent (around Alaska). Also, notice the angular relationship between Greenland and the western tip of Africa, and the western coast of the United States with the southern tip of South America. The abstracted geometrical design easily follows the sense of movement of the tectonic plates in their apparent formation patterns.

In the previous view, similar corridors of relevancy appear. For example, notice the relationship between the eastern border of Greenland and the southern tip of South America; the alignment of the western part of continental Europe with the Western tip of Africa; and, the alignment between the easternmost tip of Russia near the Bering Strait in relation to the eastern side of the continent of Australia. These corridors are suggestive of the angle of inclination of the Earth's axis. A composite view of the two previous illustrations would be reflective of the interplay of the Earth's axis as follows.

Further visualizations become available, however, there are far too many to illustrate in such a short essay. Consider, nevertheless, the axis-like path running along the major river basin of the Mississippi River (along the path of Poverty Point), as it traverses the southernmost tip of the continent of South America. That same pathway on a parallel line in traversing the other major river basins shown would yield the following view. One can only note how the many sites along the corridor of England (UK) lies along the pathway of the mouth of the Niger River, along with other relevant cases, far too many to mention here.

In the previous view, further relationships make their appearance as of the angle of inclination achieved by the corridor between Easter Island and the Giza area. One can observe the relationship between the southernmost tip of the continent of Africa and the northern tip of the Antarctic around Bransfield Strait.

Were we to continue the abstracted geometrical reasoning within the implied design, then one could imagine drawing a line between the eastern side of Greenland and the western tip of the African continent, which would intersect with the angle of inclination from the Poverty Point line. Then, from that point of intersection, a line could be drawn towards Eastern Island, which would basically traverse the southern tip of South America.

One thereby obtains the view of specific corridors mapped out in nature, which are being identified by the placement of the ancient sites.

The additions of other lines/corridors within the logic of the abstracted geometrical figure could then be triangulated on the grid delineated by the different sites. Innumerable relationships develop, which are far too many to discuss at this point.

The Corridors/Pathways on a Timeline

One may further visualize the geometry of design as of a timeline, whereby we conceive of the spinning Earth, revolving on its axis. In this manner, a particular corridor or pathway between the different sites may be extended until it reaches its own starting point. Therefore, we may visualize the corridor running from the Poverty Point area to the area of Giza, and onward to the Yangtze River area. For that we should repeat the map of the Earth in order to see what kind of visual geometrical patterns obtain.

Now, if we were to mark off the corridors from the area of the Mesoamerican sites to the Giza site, which would represent roughly one-third of the distance around the globe, then one could visualize drawing three circles along these corridors as follows.

Carl P. Munck points out the site of El mirador (Guatemala), as being exactly one-third of the distance of the globe from Giza ["120 degrees of longitude separate Guatemala from Egypt and 120 is 1/3rd of the 360o earth", from The Code Newsletter #51]. The previously drawn illustration could exemplify this particular case. Although exactness is wanting in our own illustration, the geometrically abstracted idea is therein reflected. The significant point would be to find the path marked by the dividing line of the two circles between Giza and El mirador as shown by the perpendicular line crossing the corridor.

By employing other units of measurements between different sites, other geometrically abstracted patterns would obtain. For example, consider the Vesica Piscis pattern that obtains from the Easter Island Giza relationship.

The most interesting point about these geometrically abstracted designs is that they all mark off either the Tropic of Cancer or the Equator, at the point of intersection. Again, we may thus observe how the placement of the sites and their relationship by interconnecting corridors or paths may be designating significant forces in nature. One may conceptualize the reflection of certain force fields, as they may be termed today.

The Great Pyramid Design

Our work in the series of essays and extracts of Earth/matriX: Science in Ancient Artwork, has been mainly concerned with the basic designs within the ancient artwork itself. We have not contemplated, as in this essay, the relationship among the different sites. However, if we were to take the geometrically developed patterns illustrated as of the patterns coming out of the corridors from the different sites, we just might visualize the basic design of the Great Pyramid.

For this illustrated view, let us take the basic unit of measurement the distance of the corridor between the Poverty Point area and the Giza plateau. As we mark off circles using this basic measurement, a series of circles may be drawn on the time-line. We may then connect the points where the circles intersect among themselves. And, then, we may further draw a triangle in the following manner.

We have drawn the triangle so that the center-point is Giza itself, i.e., the Great Pyramid sits at the very center of the design. Furthermore, the angle of inclination of the triangle drawn in this illustration approaches that of the Great Pyramid itself (ca. 51.5 degrees).

Observations

The ancient sites appear to be placed on a geodesic grid or matrix that encompasses the entire globe in such a manner as to establish a relationship with the natural features of planet Earth. With a line drawn from the mouth of the Mississippi River to the mouth of the Yangtze River, and another line drawn from the mouth of the Yangtze River to the mouth of the Amazon River the relationship of proportional distances takes on significant meaning.

The mouth of the Amazon River appears just below the 1/3:2/3 mark on the corridor between the Mississippi and Nile basins. The flow of the Nile River appears to cut the corridor between the mouths of the Yangtze and the Amazon in half. The Euphrates River points towards dividing that same line into a

1/3:2/3 proportion. And, the Niger River divides that same line between the mouths of the Amazon and the Yangtze into a proportion of 1/3:2/3 as well.

Our study of the visual patterns established by abstracted geometrical lines drawn between the different ancient sites causes us to consider our own system of evaluation of mathematical data. Generally, if the mathematics do not fit, then one is hesitant to conclude that a particular proposal may be scientific in nature. We rely on numbers to confirm the behavior of matter and energy. Yet, when the numbers match, as in the case of studies such as Carl P. Munck's work, The Code, or, in works such as those of Hugh H.

Harleston, Jr., the findings are not always accepted. On the one hand, we depend upon the mathematics to confirm our knowledge. And, on the other hand, we sometimes ignore the mathematics when the outcome is unexpected.

However, the abstracted geometrical lines that we have drawn in the previous illustrations may be easily traced on maps or even on a spherical globe for all to see. The alignment of the sites with specific characteristics of nature on our planet is a visible feature of the ancient system. For all of these cultures to have aligned their sites in a haphazard manner, coincidentally establishing specific geometrical relationships in the manner in which we have observed above, without any contact among themselves, seems highly unlikely.

The work of Hugh H. Harleston, Jr. revealed the predictive nature of the mathematics that he applied in locating isolated markers throughout the Western Hemisphere. The mathematics of Carl P. Munck reflects a predictive feature of suspecting relationships among the different sites. And, the geometry that has been illustrated in these drawings may be translated into those mathematical postulates with little effort. The relationships that have been illustrated in the previous drawings imply other relationships, far too many to discuss in this brief essay. However, the extension of the previously illustrated lines implies many other relationships with other sites. The relationships of the pathways or corridors are not simply abstracted in geometry, but are visibly in relationship to natural features of the Earth (v.gr., the major river basins, plate tectonics, the Earth's axis or angle of inclination, etc.).

The lines, that is, the corridors may possibly be reflecting fields of different forces underlying the Earth's make-up. Many authors have postulated the idea that the ancient sites are situated near certain force fields, such as underground water sources. Just exactly what might those forces be remains to be discerned. But, for the most part we may surmise that the ancient sites were not randomly placed around the globe. The fact that we do not know, or ignore the possible reasons for their placement should not serve us as a reason to deny the possibility of a conscious design or matrix for the ancient sites. Some analysts have gone so far as to suggest that the Great Pyramid, along with all the other pyramids of different ancient sites, are situated so as to maintain the proper revolution and rotation of the Earth on its cosmic orbit within our solar system.

One could envision a scenario where we might unknowingly alter the make-up of these ancient sites and pyramidal constructions to such a degree as to alter our very existence. By then, as we find ourselves whirling haphazardly out into space, we could then see ourselves finally recognizing the reason for the existence of the pyramidal matrix. Naturally, we are being somewhat mischievous in our argument, but exactly how mischievous no one really knows, yet ---except maybe Hugh and Carl.

THE PLAN THE PURPOSE

In the previous articles we looked at the background as to what is transpiring in and on the outer reaches of our Solar system, and who is involved. Now let us look for an explanation as to why these events are unfolding at this time.

THE EXPERIMENT

Approximately 500,000 years ago, TERRA (planet earth) experienced a severe orbital problem (tile to a glancing blow from a passing meteorite. This resulted in a rapidly decaying orbit, where failure to control this event would have created a ripple effect on neighbouring stars in addition to other neighbouring orbiting celestial bodies.

Thus was the scenario that brought in the involvement of the Galactic Federation. In an unprecedented move, the Federation called upon its planetary members to devise a solution to eliminate or control this imminent problem. Due to the very nature of this potential orbital disaster, much scientific and physical expertise was required in order to implement and accomplish the necessary rescue. Because of this complex task a number of worlds were involved in working on this solution.

At this time the Anunnaki inhabited planet earth, and naturally more than welcomed an offer of aid. Therefore, concessions were agreed upon between the Anunnaki and the Federation, at which time the coordinated effort of planet stabilisation began.

The procedure involved the siting and setting of a number of crystals located below strategically aligned sites throughout the globe the main focal crystal being at the Giza Plateau, the site of the Pyramid complex. Thus crystals were placed at the many of what we today call ~ancient sacred sites, such as at Easter Island. Stonehenge, White Pyramids of China, Machu Pichu, (Peru) Uxmal Pyramid (Mexico), Chichen Itza (Mexico) and so on. For a tentative list of these link to SACRED SITES
It is interesting to note over recent months a number of earthquakes have been witnessed on or around the majority of these sites.
In addition, when we wrote the article 2012. Comet Lee etc. emphasis was placed on the date of 21st December 2012, this is also the time frame (2011/2012) when it is calculated that earth will be in the mainstream of the much-discussed PHOTON BELT. It was reported that earth entered the sphere of influence of this belt in 1962. Every 26.000 years or so, our solar system completes a circuit around the point of origin of our sun, Alcyone in the Pleiades group, in 2012 we shall be nearing this point once more. Although the energy of this Photon Belt is said b~ some to be more etheric and spiritual in nature rather than physical, it does in fact interact with the physical aspect surrounding our galaxy.

Returning to the execution of the stabilisation of planet earth, naturally, the implementation of this plan took some tune, and upon completion an unforeseen problem surfaced with regard to the workforce who participated in the process. The diverse races from diverse worlds that were involved in the work had come under the influence of our planets gravity field.

There was a possibility that they could have been removed and ultimately re-adjusted to the gravity fields of their respective planets, however, an alternative plan was arrived at.


THE EXPERIMENT


This alternative solution was agreed between the Federation members, an Experiment which is still presently floating in the wind.

Because of the diversity and number of Federation members already inhabiting planet Terra, earth, it was decided that an experiment would be instigated. The ultimate aim of this experiment was to see if the various races, with varying belief structures, could not only mutually co-exist on a planet, but in addition, the scenario offered an opportunity to safely monitor the evolution of such an attempt.

Ultimately, three entities were mutually chosen to oversee the progress of this experiment. These entities, periodically over time, as we know it, made themselves available to assist and guide the peoples of earth through indirect intervention. Under the original experimental guide hues, direct intervention was not allowed.

The three representatives, or council members, were not a permanent part of this original plan, a fact that only came about at a later date. This, in part was due to a malicious act which the Pleiadians created, aiid perhaps one that they feel ashamed about and possibly looking for a way in which to make amends. The unique feature of this experiment was that the entities, or souls, were held in containment within the protective belt, which they had helped to construct. The redistribution of these souls were aided by the siting of monoliths on the nioon which in turn was connected to the working machinery deep below the Giza Plateau, where the soul-distribution was handled directly. To ensure all data was recorded correctly. 11101 [lwas given the responsibility and authority to keep track of and document the records of progression, or regression as the case may be, of each and every soul. In addition Thoth (1) was given the added responsibility to help the soul along for its search for fulfillment, realisation and guidance towards an understanding of the overall picture.

Each soul is viewed and recorded by the entity each and every time physical death occurs. Upon death, the slate is cleared so to speak, amid the soul sent back out in order to learn from past life experiences and difficulties, thus to attain fulfillment. Some may recall these experiences and the ultimate teaching that transpires.

Thoth has also been given the authority to keep alive and further develop the levels of understanding as they relate to the realm of the sciences. This was considered importantly so considering the mix of races involved in this experiment, where each race brought a diverse history, culture and science as understood by the historical evoltttion of each race, not to mention their own unique personal and cultural beliefs.

It is believed that through time, these cultural differences could have been moulded into a common set of understanding, where each race could find their own place within the newly integrated system. While simultaneously, honouring that the individual would eventually comprehend that it should not dwell on the past, for this not only retards the growth of the individual, but the group as a whole. Indeed, there have been many strides forward towards the reality of this, however, there have also been (and continue to exist) many setbacks.

These problems are traced back, if it were known only to find out that the history of any one race, and the experience of inter -racial differences of other races on their own home worlds, probably do not even exist today.

However, on the positive side we here on earth have 13 years remaining to GET IT RIGHT -December 21st 2012. This scenario now becomes even more complex due to the fact that the Draconians have set their sights on controlling this section of the Galaxy! Simply put, as outlined in THE FINAL COUNTDOWN WAR is headed in our direction. The thought of this ending in a negative scenario has caused some races to look at the possibility of coming to planet EARTH and extracting their own people. However, one major fact is being overlooked, we still have those 13 years. WE have created our own civilisation, WE have made major strides forward and continue to do so at an accelerated rate of progress. Hence
NOW IS WHEN WE SHOULD ENTER THE HALL OF RECORDS, and find out just how far we have in fact come.

WHO MAY ASK?

We mentioned in THE FINAL COUNTDOWN who, or Llnder what circumstances should one ask for assistance in re-aligning the main crystal below the Giza Plateau. iii the following section ~ve will demonstrate the background method and hazards of implementing such an alignment.

When the experiment was instigated, a certain amount of genetic engineering was carried out to assist integration of the DNA from the various races currently inhabiting earth. This was carried out over a period of time so as to allow certain races, to overcome the problems encountered of gravitational and atmospheric conditions. Once equilibrium had been achieved between the GENE structure and the DNA, the code was then set. This is what some refer to as the BLESSING. The original blessing was ultimately handed down, or put another way, passed along generation to generation, always being carried by ONE individual.


This blessing is carried in the centre of the femur, and in addition was left to the one whom had in his possession this L)NA, the sole right to access the CRYSTAL. With this right, the bearer was the only one who may approach the crystal in order to re-align and advance the setting in order to stabalise the planets core. According to GENESIS, the act of passing on the blessing consisted of placing the recipients right hand under the left femur of his predecessor. Thus from that point on to carry the weight of this responsibility.

To illustrate the relevance, and indeed the urgent need for crystal alignment as described in previous articles, a recent occurrence, experienced by one of our group members will be described below.

One October late evening one of our colleagues was visually confronted, a face-to-face, with a reptilian species. This reptilian was attempting to make definite telepathic communication. After a long period of what may be termed a frontal staring down, our colleague was shown a picture consisting of two DNA strands. These two strands were almost identical apart from the lower one being green in colour, while the upper strand was a violet colour. (2) The name of this reptilian species, ESAU!


A week or so later, our colleague was awoken from sleep by a sharp pain in his upper middle part of his left femur. It was believed that some one or something had remotely extracted the DNA from the centre of the femur bone.

It was assumed that this procedure was carried out for or by Esau himself This was seen as an attempt to give him access to the CRYSTAL in order to make changes to the earths shield. However, instead of ADVANCING the crystal it is his plan to set it back, thus creating a change in atmosphere that would then allow the ANUNNAKI to once again walk freely on this planet.

However, Esau still finds himself unable to access the crystal as he is still missing the HARMONIC ~key it must be borne in mind that he swore that he would return to claim that which he believes is his by birthright. But it is a right that he himself willingly gave up.

So, WHERE ARE THE ANUNNAKI NOW?

Essential information for agencies, and others, who may wish to assist the tagged individual, in the re-alignment of the Giza Crystal.

It appears, from a number of sources that recently the Anunnaki were located in the area known as the Badlands of the asteroid belt (a hand of asteroids orbiting the sun between Mars and Jupiter), however they now seem to he itinerant, or ~oii the run. It is also reported the Erideans, orbiting the sun in their Plasma carrier or SUN CRUISER have captured a number of the Anunnaki, who no doubt will he enslaved. This scenario will no doubt effect their cloaking ability, and soon we may observe evidence of their existence.

More recent reports suggest that ~Esau~ (Anunnaki) appears to be located on Pluto involved in some conference in an attempt to gain assistance from the Nordics and other races. The Anunnaki still seem to maintain that planet earth is their property and loath to give up claims to be master race of earth.

Desperation looks like the attitude at present. as during this conference on Pluto the
Anunnaki are attempting to enlist the hell) of a dwarf race from a parallel dimension.
Apparently, this race is normally called in when there is dirty work to be carried out!

However, coming back to earth with a literal bump, further investigation seems to point to the location of a small number, reconnaissance party, deep below the Giza area, Cairo.

It is apparent that this group slid in under cover of the extended Cairo smog incident of around the 26th October 1999. Although the news archives have now been deleted on the web regarding this incident, we submit the quotes below regarding this incident.

Quote by an accountant, one Mohammed Abdel Monayin, in the daily Al-Gumhuriya, circa week of 27th.October.

What is strange is that we have been given no explanation about the nature of this smoke. We demand a plausible explanation.

While Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak commented;

There may he something in the atmosphere or weather conditions may be sometimes very tough there.

Prior to this event, on the 11th October 1999, Cairo suffered the effects of a 5.2 earthquake of which the epicentre was located in the desert, South East of Cairo. Of interest to note, there was also an earthquake a few days prior in Sinai.( 5oct 1999 05:44:36.5 29.ON 34.9E 10 ML 4.8 MISR EGYPT)

An additional coincidence was the start of the military exercise BRIGHT STAR carried out in Egypt from October 12th. Through to November 3rd

An intriguing point to note oil this exercise is advanced, longhaul satellite communications were utilised for the first time, employing 70 members of the contingent of signals from the 11th. Signal Brigade, Arizona.

Were the military expecting major incoming And geared up for a major force? when unknown to them a recoil force slid quietly through the environmental smog event? We suggest that in fact this was tile case!

Tile important factor here is that the Anunnaki are Hell-bent on aligning the crystal below Giza for their own ends, in order to establish a planet that will be environmentally friendly to their personal needs.

Therefore, it is of the most UTMOST IMPORTANCE that agencies instigate arrangements with the TAGGED INDIVIDUAL (they KNOW who this is) in order to re-align the Crystal as SOOll as possible.

Like a real life Indiana Jones, maverick archeologist David Hatcher Childress has taken many incredible journeys to some of the oldest and most remote spots on earth. 1. ANCIENT MU OR LEMURIA

According to various esoteric sources, the first civilization arose 78,000 years ago on the giant continent known as Mu or Lemuria and lasted for an astonishing 52,000 years. It is sometimes said to have been destroyed in earthquakes generated by a pole shift which occurred some 26,000 years ago, or at approximately 24,000 B.C.

While Mu did not reach as high a technology, supposedly, as other later civilizations, it is, nevertheless, said to have attained some advanced technology, particularly in the building of long-lasting megalithic buildings that were able to withstand earthquakes. However, it was the science of government that is sometimes said to have been Mu's greatest achievement.

Supposedly, there was one language and one government. Education was the keynote of the Empire's success, and because every citizen was versed in the laws of the universe and was given thorough training in a profession or trade, magnificent prosperity resulted. A child's education was compulsory to the age of 21 in order for him to be eligible to attend citizenship school. This training period lasted for seven years; so the earliest age at which a person could become a citizen of the empire was 28.

2. ANCIENT ATLANTIS

It is said that when the continent of Mu sank, the oceans of the world lowered drastically as water rushed into the newly formed Pacific Basin. The relatively small islands which had existed in the Atlantic during the time of the Lemurian civilization were left high and dry by the receding ocean. The newly emerged land joined the Poseid Archipelago of the Atlantic Ocean to form a small continent. This continent is called Atlantis by historians today, though its real name was Poseid.

Atlantis is believed to have taken technology to very advanced stages, well beyond what exists on our planet today. In the book A Dweller On Two Planets, first dictated in 1884 by Phylos the Thibetan to a young Californian named Frederick Spencer Oliver, as well as in a 1940 sequel, An Earth Dweller Returns, there is mention of such inventions and devices as air conditioners to overcome deadly and noxious vapors; airless cylinder lamps, tubes of crystal illuminated by the night side forces; electric rifles, guns employing electricity as a propulsive force (rail-guns are similar, and a very new invention); mono-rail transportation; water generators, an instrument for condensing water from the atmosphere; and the Vailx, an aerial ship governed by forces of levitation and repulsion.

The sleeping clairvoyant, Edgar Cayce, in a reading spoke of the use of aeroplanes and of crystals or firestones used for energy and related applications. He also speaks of the misuse of power and warnings of destruction to come.

3. RAMA EMPIRE OF INDIA

Fortunately, the ancient books of India's Rama Empire have been preserved, unlike those of China, Egypt, Central America, Peru. Many of these ancient nations are now either desert wastelands, swallowed by thick jungle or literally at the bottom of some ocean. Yet India, despite devastation by wars and invasion, managed to maintain a large part of its ancient history.

For a long time, Indian civilization was not believed to date from much earlier than about 500 B.C., only about 200 years prior to Alexander the Great's invasion of the subcontinent. In the past century, however, the extremely sophisticated cities of Mohenjo Daro (Mound of the Dead) and Harappa have been discovered in the Indus Valley of modern-day Pakistan.

The discoveries of these cities forced archaeologists to push the dates for the origin of Indian civilization back thousands of years. A wonder to modern-day researchers, the cities were highly developed and caused leading archaeologists to believe that they were conceived as a whole before they were built: a remarkable early example of city planning. Even more remarkable is that the plumbing-sewage system throughout the large city is superior to that found in Pakistan, India, and most Asian countries today.

4. OSIRIAN CIVILIZATION OF THE MEDITERRANEAN

It is said that at the time of Atlantis and Rama, the Mediterranean was a large and fertile valley. This ancient civilization, pre-dating dynastic Egypt, was known as the Osirian Civilization. The Nile river came out of Africa, as it does today, and was called the River Stix. However, instead of flowing into the Mediterranean Sea at the Nile Delta in northern Egypt, it continued into the valley, and then turned westward to flow in the deepest part of the Mediterranean Valley where it created a large lake and then flowed out between Malta and Sicily, and south of Sardinia into the Atlantic at Gibraltar (the Pillars of Hercules). When Atlantis was destroyed in a cataclysmic upheaval, this cataclysmic change in the Atlantic slowly flooded the Mediterranean Basin, destroying the Osirian's great cities and forcing them to move to higher ground. This theory helps explain the strange megalithic remains found throughout the Mediterranean.

It is an archaeological fact that there are more than 200 known sunken cities in the Mediterranean. Egyptian civilization, along with the Minoan and Mycenean in Crete and Greece are, in theory, remnants of this great, ancient culture. The civilization built huge earthquake-proof megalithic structures and had electricity and other conveniences common during the time of Atlantis. Like Atlantis and Rama, they had airships and other modes of transport, often electrical in nature. The mysterious cart tracks of Malta, which go over cliffs and under water, may well be part of some ancient Osirian tram-line, possibly taking quarried stone to cities that are now submerged.

Probably the best example of the high technology of the Osirians is the amazing platform found at Ba'albek, Lebanon. The main platform is composed of the largest hewn rocks in the world, the famous ashlars of Ba'albek. Some of the individual stones are 82 feet long and 15 feet thick and are estimated to weigh between 1,200 and 1,500 tons each!

5. UIGER CIVILIZATION OF THE GOBI DESERT

Many ancient cities are said to have existed at the time of Atlantis and Rama in the Uiger civilization of the Gobi Desert. Though the Gobi is now a parched land-licked desert, these cities were ocean ports. Edgar Cayce once said that elevators would be discovered in a lost city in the Gobi Desert, and while this has not happened yet, it is not out of the question.

Vimanas and other advanced devices are said to have been in use in the Uiger area, and the famous Russian explorer Nicholas Roerich reported seeing a flying disc over northern Tibet in the 1930s. Perhaps the craft was an ancient vimana coming from a still active city using Uiger technology that exists in Northern Tibet or the Gobi Desert.

Significantly, it is claimed that the Elders of Lemuria, known as the Thirteenth School, moved their headquarters prior to the cataclysm to the uninhabited plateau of Central Asia that we now call Tibet. Here they supposedly established a library and school known as The Great White Brotherhood.

For instance, the great Chinese Philosopher Lao Tzu, born in 604 B.C., talked frequently of Ancient Masters and their profound wisdom. He wrote the famous book, Tao Te Ching, probably the most popular book ever written in Chinese. When he finally left China, near the close of his very long life, he journeyed to the west to the legendary land of Hsi Wang Mu. According to the ancient Chinese, this was the headquarters of the Ancient Ones. Could this have been The Great White Brotherhood and the Thirteenth School of Mu?

6. TIAHUANACO

As in Mu and Atlantis, construction in South America was on megalithic scale with polygonal construction techniques designed to make the massive walls earthquake-proof. Earthquake-resistant walls were important all around the Ring-of-Fire, ancient Mu.

Homes and communal buildings were built out of megalithic blocks of stone. Because of the high regard the culture had for the well being of future generations and the value they placed upon the gradual, sustained growth of the community, structures were built to last for thousands of years. A house built of cement, wood and plaster-wall will last a hundred years or so, if kept up. Witness the megalithic construction of Egypt, Malta, Peru. These buildings are still standing today. Cuzco, the ancient capital of Peru, which was probably built before the Incas, is still inhabited today after thousands of years. Indeed, most of the buildings of downtown Cuzco today incorporate walls that are many hundreds of years old (whereas more recent buildings constructed by the Spanish are already crumbling).

Only a few hundred miles to the south of Cuzco lie the fantastic ruins of Puma Punku, high in the Altiplano of Bolivia. The ruins of Puma Punku, about one mile from the famous ruins of Tiahuanaco, are massive megalithic constructions that are tossed about like toy building blocks. What kind of cataclysmic upheaval could have done such a thing? Here is the kind of megalithic construction meant to last for thousands of years, yet, the 100-ton blocks have been torn asunder by mighty geological forces.

It would appear that the South American continent was suddenly and violently thrust upward during some kind of cataclysm, most likely a pole shift. A former sea-level canal can now be seen at 13,000 feet in the Andes Mountains. As possible evidence for this scenario, many ocean fossils can be found near Lake Titicaca. The lake is even inhabited by the only known fresh water sea horses.

7. THE MAYANS

Mayan pyramids are found from Central America to as far away as the Indonesian island of Java. The pyramid of Sukuh, on the slopes of Mount Lawu near Surakarta in central Java is an amazing temple with stone stelae and a step pyramid that would match any in the jungles of Central America. The pyramid is in fact virtually identical to the pyramids found at the ancient Mayan site at Uaxactun, near Tikal.

The ancient Mayans were brilliant astronomers and mathematicians whose early cities lived in agrarian harmony with earth. They built canals and hydroponic garden cities throughout the ancient Yucatan Peninsula. Some of the Mayan glyphs were allegedly radionic-type insect control devices that broadcast an etheric vibration of the targeted pest.

Edgar Cayce mentions the Mayas and their technology in one reading: As for a description of the manner of construction of the stone: we find it was a large cylindrical glass (as would be termed today); cut with facets in such manner that the capstone on top of it made for centralizing the power or force that concentrated between the end of the cylinder and the capstone itself. As indicated, the records as to ways of constructing same are in three places in the earth, as it stands today: in the sunken portion of Atlantis, or Poseidia, where a portion of the temples may yet be discovered under the slime of ages of sea water, near what is known as Bimini, off the coast of Florida. And (secondly) in the temple records that were in Egypt, where the entity acted later in cooperation with others towards preserving the records that came from the land where these had been kept. Also (thirdly) in records that were carried to what is now Yucatan, in America, where these stones (which they know so little about) are now, during the last few months, being uncovered.

It is believed that an ancient Hall of Records resides somewhere in the Mayan region, probably beneath an existing pyramid complex, in an underground tunnel and chamber system. Some sources say that this repository of ancient knowledge is kept in quartz crystals that are of exceptional quality and capable of holding large amounts of information in the similar manner as a modern CD.

8. ANCIENT CHINA

Ancient China, known as Han China, is said to have come, like all civilizations, from the huge Pacific continent Mu. The ancient Chinese are known for their sky-chariots, their geomancy, and the jade manufacture that they shared with the Mayas. Indeed, the ancient histories of the Chinese and the Mayas seem indelibly linked.

Anthropologists makes a good case for a Taoist influence coming to Central America by showing Shang dynasty symbols and motifs (the yin-yang is the most famous, but there are many more) and then relating them to known Mayan art and sculpture. Jade was of particular importance to the Shang Chinese. So far, the source of Chinese jade has not been pinpointed. Much of it may have come from Central America. Even the source of Central American jade is a mystery; many ancient jade mines are believed to be still undiscovered. Anthropologists suggest that Chinese voyages to Mexico, between 500-300 B.C., may have been related to Taoist trade in magic mushrooms or drugs of longevity.

The ancient Chinese are often said to be the originators of every invention from toilet paper, earthquake detectors, paper money, canons, rocket technology, printing methods, and thousands of other clever and high-tech items. In 1959 archaeologists in China discovered belt buckles made out of aluminum thousands of years ago. Aluminum is generally processed from bauxite with electricity!

9. ANCIENT ETHIOPIA & ISRAEL

From such ancient texts as the Bible and the Ethiopian book Kebra Negast, we have tales of the high technology of ancient Ethiopia and Israel. The temple at Jerusalem is said to have been founded upon three gigantic ashlar blocks of stone similar to those at Ba'albek, Lebanon. Today, the revered Temple of Solomon and Muslim Dome of the Rock mosque exist on this site, whose foundations apparently reach back to the Osirian civilization.

Like much of the later Phoenician construction, the building at the Temple to hold the Ark of the Covenant and the temples in Ethiopia are the last of the megalithic stone constructions. The massive Temple Mount, built by King Solomon on the ruins of earlier megalithic temple, was made to house the ancient relic known as the Ark of the Covenant.

The Ark of the Covenant is said to have been an electrical generator box which housed several sacred objects, including a solid gold statue from earlier cultures that is called the Holy of Holies. This box and gold statue were said to have been removed from the King's Chamber in the Great Pyramid in Egypt by Moses during the period of the Exodus.

Many scholars believe that the Ark of the Covenant, as well as other ancient artifacts, were actually electrical devices, some of which were worshipped in temples as oracles. The Bible recounts how certain unauthorized persons would touch the Ark and be electrocuted.

10. THE AROI SUN KINGDOM OF THE PACIFIC

The last of my list of ancient civilizations is that of the virtually unknown ancient culture of the Aroi Sun Kingdom of the Pacific. While the so-called lost continent of Mu sank over 24,000 years ago in a pole shift, the Pacific was later repopulated by a racial mixture of all civilizations, coming from Rama, China, Africa and the Americas.

An advanced island nation, with larger areas of land than are currently in the Pacific, grew up around Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia. Ancient legends in Polynesia attribute this remarkable civilization to the Aroi Kingdom that existed many thousands of years before the European rediscovery of the Pacific. The Aroi allegedly built many of the megalithic pyramids, platforms, arches, roads and statues throughout the central Pacific.

When some of the more than 400 gravel hills on New Caledonia were excavated in the 1960s, cement columns of lime and shell matter were carbon dated by Yale and the New Caledonia Museum as having been made before 5120 B.C. and 10,950 B.C. These weird cement columns can be found in the southern part of New Caledonia and on the Isle of Pines.

According to the Easter Islanders, the statues of the islands walked or levitated in order to move in a clock-wise spiral around the island. On the island of Pohnpei, the Micronesians claim that the stones of the eleven-square-mile city were levitated into place.

The Polynesians of New Zealand, Easter Island, Hawaii and Tahiti all believe that their ancestors had the ability of flight and would travel through the air from island to island. Was this the Air Atlantis flight that stopped in Malta, Ba'albek, and Rama destined for the remote but popular convention center at Easter Island?

13 000 000 BC, PERU:

The Ica stones of Peru show illustrations of advanced surgery (like heart and brain transplant, Caesarean section) and men riding dinosaurs: Dr. Javier Cabrera discovers about 40,000 stone tablets detailing advanced science in the Peruvian desert of Ocucaje. These were called the Ica Stones of Peru. The tablets detail such complex ideas as astronomy, surgery (heart and kidney transplants), C section, acupuncture, genetic disorders, and more. There were descriptions of vehicles which flew through spaces without consuming fuel, descriptions of the lines drawn at Nazca. They described the evacuation of large-headed small-statured race to a planet which would now be in the Pleaides star cluster. These were found in the Peruvian state of Ica. The city of Ica is only 100 miles from the city of Nazca.

13,000 BC, INDIA:

Indian country of Rama existed. Remains of their large cities still exist in the deserts of India and Pakistan (Mohenjodaro). Indian texts from this period tell of anti-gravity space ships (called Vimanas, or Astras), and a war with the Atlanteans on the moon. Curiously, Soviet scientists have discovered what they call "age-old instruments used in navigating cosmic vehicles" in caves in Turkestan and the Gobi Desert. The "devices" are hemispherical objects of glass or porcelain, ending in a cone with a drop of mercury inside. Some ancient Indian texts describe a war with Atlantis (who flew Vailixi machines) using flying machines and atomic bombs about 10,000 to 12,000 years ago.

12,000 BC, CHINA, DROPAS:

Small-bodied, yellow-faced Dropas aliens crash land on Tibet/China border. Remains discovered in 1938. Aligned graves contained skeletons of short, spindly people with large heads. A stone disk with tiny pictograms on it told the story of aliens crash landing in the mountains of Bayan Kara-Ula on the China Tibet border. They tried to make friends with the neighboring Ham tribe, but the Hams hunted them down and killed them. An English scientist later visited the area and learned their lore. Descendants of the Dropas still live in the area, and they don't look Mongolian or Chinese. The Dropas came from a star in the Sirius system. The small people of the Dropas were rediscovered in the same mountains in 1995. (strange and unbelievable story. To investigate.)

Autralian Aborigene mythology tells of foreign visitors, they are painting on caves.

BC, PAKISTAN:

Rishi City of Mohenjodaro, Pakistan was excavated by archeologists in the last century, they found skeletons just lying in the streets, some of them holding hands, as if some great doom had suddenly overtaken them. These skeletons are among the most radioactive ever found, on a par with those found at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Ancient cities whose brick and stone walls have literally been vitrified, that is, fused together like glass, can be found in India, Ireland, Scotland, France, Turkey and other places. There is no logical explanation for the vitrification of stone forts and cities, except from an atomic blast. The Lop Nor Desert in western China is known to be the center of a great UFO mystery. From "Worlds Strange Phenomona" by Charles Berlitz: Scientists drilling down in an excavation near Babylon, in Iraq, found various strata containing evidence of different civilizations. They eventually stopped when they hit a solid wall of glass, like the sand had been fused together by a nuclear blast.

Debate unfolds: Man or nature?

Adding to the intrigue, one dishwasher-size rock seems to bear an etching of a mastodon.

"The first thing I said when I came out of the water was, 'Oh no, I wish we wouldn't have found this,' " said Holley, whose usual prey is sunken boats. "This is going to invite so much controversy that this is where we're going to be for the next 20 years."

This spring Holley and a student from Northwestern Michigan College hope to make laser scans of the image that will yield a computer model. That will help scientists assess the site, which is otherwise off limits because of American Indian concerns that the area could be sacred.

Researchers who study early American Indians say they will need more evidence to be convinced the stones are a human artifact. They are especially wary of the idea of a mastodon petroglyph. Mastodons were facing extinction when early humans were on the scene, and the few that still existed in North America lived much farther south, evidence shows.

"It would be the only visual representation of such in the whole hemisphere," said a skeptical Charles Cleland, retired curator of Great Lakes archeology and ethnology at Michigan State University. "It would be a really spectacular find—if it turns out to be true."

Still, Hank Bailey of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians said, "There's a lot that we haven't learned." Moreover, to American Indian eyes, the rocks seem to be arranged with some purpose, he said.

"It could easily be a ceremonial site," said Bailey, who gave underwater photographs of the stones to religious leaders. "The same kind of thing that I see there is the same kind of things we use, so why couldn't it have been connected to our people further back than modern archeologists know?"

Evidence shows human families were present in northern Michigan thousands of years ago. They traversed a barren tundra dotted by stands of fir trees in pursuit of elk and woodland caribou, gathering nuts and berries as they passed.

People did not linger in such a cold, marginal land, but they did mine chert for spear points from a site near Charlevoix and left evidence of campsites in the area, Cleland said.

Humans of that time frequently arranged stones to dam streams—to trap fish and for other reasons, said Northwestern University archeologist James Brown.

"Until they're investigated archeologically, it's hard to tell," Brown said of the submerged formation.

Holley found the site by accident while doing lake floor survey work in summer 2007 for the Grand Traverse Bay Underwater Preserve. After several passes, a row of stones became clear. When divers visited the site to take photographs, they were left vaguely unnerved. "It was really spooky when we saw it in the water," Holley said. "The whole site is spooky, in a way. When you're swimming through a long line of stones and the rest of the lake bed is featureless, it's just spooky."

To satisfy Grand Traverse Bay's American Indian community, which wants to minimize the number of visitors to the site, and to preserve his prerogative to research the spot, Holley has kept its exact location a secret.

He said he hopes a computer model of the gouges in the mastodon rock will help experts tell whether the features were a trick of chance cut by glacial forces or were the work of ancient humans.

Cleland said petroglyphs are rare in the Upper Midwest and stone circles are more common among primitive farmers than among the hunter-gatherers who traveled through Michigan.

"But I think this is certainly something that needs to be investigated," Cleland said. "It would be unthinkable to leave it alone and not try to figure it out."

A Sioux Legend

There were once upon a time two young men who were very great friends, and were constantly together. One was a very thoughtful young man, the other very impulsive, who never stopped to think before he committed an act.

One day these two friends were walking along, telling each other of their experiences in love making. They ascended a high hill, and on reaching the top, heard a ticking noise as if small stones or pebbles were being struck together.

Looking around they discovered a large spider sitting in the midst of a great many flint arrowheads. The spider was busily engaged making the flint rocks into arrowheads. They looked at the spider, but he never moved, but continued hammering away on a piece of flint which he had nearly completed into another arrowhead.

"Let's hit him," said the thoughtless one.

"No," said the other, "he is not harming any one; in fact, he is doing a great good, as he is making the flint arrowheads which we use to point our arrows."

"Oh, you are afraid," said the first young man. "He can't harm you. just watch me hit him." So saying, he picked up an arrowhead and throwing it at Unktomi, hit him on the side.

As Unktomi rolled over on his side, got up and stood looking at them, the young man laughed and said: "Well, let us be going, as your grandfather, Unktomi, doesn't seem to like our company."

They started down the hill, when suddenly the one who had hit Unktomi took a severe fit of coughing. He coughed and coughed, and finally small particles of blood came from his mouth. The blood kept coming thicker and in great gushes. Finally it came so thick and fast that the man could not get his breath and fell upon the ground dead.

The thoughtful young man, seeing that his friend was no more, hurried to the village and reported what had happened. The relatives and friends hurried to the hill, and sure enough, there lay the thoughtless young man still and cold in death.

They held a council and sent for the chief of the Unktomi tribe. When he heard what had happened, he told the council that he could do nothing to his Unktomi, as it had only defended itself.

Said he: "My friends, seeing that your tribe was running short of arrowheads, I set a great many of my tribe to work making flint arrowheads for you. When my men are thus engaged they do not wish to be disturbed, and your young man not only disturbed my man, but grossly insulted him by striking him with one of the arrowheads which he had worked so hard to make. My man could not sit and take this insult, so as the young man walked away the Unktomi shot him with a very tiny arrowhead. This produced a hemorrhage, which caused his death. So now, my friends, if you will fill and pass the peace pipe, we will part good friends and my tribe shall always furnish you with plenty of flint arrowheads." So saying, Unktomi Tanka finished his peace smoke and returned to his tribe.

Ever after that, when the Indians heard a ticking in the grass, they would go out of their way to get around the sound, saying, "Unktomi is making arrowheads; we must not disturb him."

Thus it was that Unktomi Tanka (Big Spider) had the respect of this tribe, and was never after disturbed in his work of making arrowheads.

The branch of UFO research which could rightly deserve the appellation of "paleoufology" constituted a controversial field of investigation during the 1970's, when authors like Otto Binder (Unsolved Mysteries of the Past), Richard E. Mooney (Gods of Air and Darkness), and Erich Von Daniken (Chariots of the Gods?) wrote extensively on human/alien interaction at the dawn of recorded history and even earlier. Proof of the existence of "gods" or "ancient astronauts" could be found everywhere, and to judge by the conclusions found in the books of the time, it seemed that every major engineering project in antiquity had been "farmed out" to alien contractors! Paleoufology lost its appeal and languished in obscurity until the works of Zechariah Sitchin thrust it once again into prominence. Clearly, there is still a great deal to learn about this aspect of the phenomenon.

Guatemalan researcher Oscar Rafael Padilla, an attorney and Ph.D who has dedicated 30 of his 51 years to the research of the UFO phenomenon is also the compiler of an extraordinary taxonomy of extraterrestrial creatures, composed by taking into consideration such characteristics as the existence--or lack of--hair, eye type, body shape and similarities to the human body, among others. One of the species portrayed in Clasificaci¢n Exobiol¢gica de Entidades Extraterrestres (Exobiological Classification of Extraterrestrial Entities), is characterized by its large head and eyes in relation to the thinness of its body. The being has been classified as belonging to the family Homidia (due to its resemblance to humans), order Primates (due to its walking on two extremities), subclass Euteria (since they are allegedly placental mammals). Padilla also believes that this particular variety of non-human entity played a significant role in ancient times.

Dr. Padilla recalls a very curious stele that was on display in Guatemala's Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology until its removal in 1990, when it was transferred to Japan for scientific study, according to his own research. The stele portrayed the figure of a being with enormous ears, three-fingered hands, elongated legs, no feet, and two strange filaments on its head which, in Padilla's opinion, constitute "antennae".

Scientists have dismissed Dr. Padilla's allegedly alien as a colorful primitive depiction of an imaginary monster--very much like our own science-fiction beasts--and left the matter at that. But there is growing evidence throughout South America that ancient artisans depicted certain things we now know to be fact much too clearly.

Brazilian UFO researcher Jean Alencar has noted that the mythology of this country is replete with descriptions and statuettes of beings endowed with the power of flight. The legends of Brazilian natives, like those of other countries, detail experiences of gods or travellers from the sky who descended to earth when humans were little more that animals to instruct them in the arts of agriculture, astronomy, medicine, and other disciplines. Alencar points out one figure in particular, Bep-Kororoti, a space warrior worshipped by the tribes of the upper reaches of the Xing£ River. Not unlike the heroes of India's Mahabarata, Bep-Kororoti possessed a flying vehicle capable of destroying anything in its path. His aspect terrified the primitive natives, until he stepped out of his "raiment" and revealed himself to be fair-skinned, handsome, and kind. He amused the natives with his "magic" until he grew restless for his land in the sky and returned there.

The Popol Vuh, sacred to the Mayans, unequivocally states: ...men came from the stars, knowing everything, and they examined the four corners of the sky and the Earth's round surface." Yet another book, the Chilam Balaam, is even more explicit: "Beings descended from the sky in flying vessels...white men in flying rings, who can touch the sky."

There are indications that something very strange took place on our very own continent hundreds of thousands of years ago, before humans arrived on this continent (according to the canon of anthropology). Santa Mar¡a Canyon holds evidence pointing toward the existence of a culture of intelligent beings who raised cattle, built weapons, and practiced funeral rites--one million years ago. If we decide to stick with what academia has to say, in no way could these beings have been humans. Were they survivors of an "Elder Race"? Marooned spacemen, or colonists trying to tame a new planet? During the Prehistory Conference held during 1962 in Rome, Dr. W. Matthes presented the oldest carvings known to exist, created by a forgotten artist two hundred thousand years ago, when humans had allegedly just discovered the use of fire.

Curious details suggesting the visit of extraterrestrial travelers can be found in the presence of technological items which are far too advanced for the cultures in which they are discovered. Sandal-and-loincloth cultures in the Americas and the Middle East appear to have mastered the creation of aluminum (refined from bauxite--a highly complex process) and platinum (which requires temperatures of thousands of degrees). Yet these very same civilizations clearly had no knowledge of more elemental technology, such as the wheel. Was this knowledge "imparted" by non-terrestrial creatures to a "priesthood" of primitive humans, who surrounded the knowledge (and perhaps the non-terrestrial devices needed to apply it) under the panoply of esoteric knowledge and mystery cults?

Perhaps some of the alien teachers stayed behind on Earth, out of sight, in an advisory capacity. Peru's Cuzco Museum holds a most interesting exhibit which has attracted much anthropological interest but little in the way of answers: it is a high-domed skull with impossibly large eye-sockets, found in a Peruvian archaeological site. Experts affirm that the cranial deformation was not artificial (cranial deformation was widely practiced by Mesoamerican and South American cultures) nor does it appear to be that of an abnormal human. Could a Peruvian museum hold the only tangible proof of alien visitation on Earth?

The Sahara, a warm subtropical desert, occupies almost 3 million square miles. Its relative humidity can go as low as twenty percent and strong dry winds like the harmattan contribute to the evaporation. Such inhospitable conditions make survival an almost insuperable barrier for animals such as gazelles, antelope, jackals and the varieties of reptiles and insects that can be found there.

Yet humans have tenaciously clung to life in this environment, and appear to have done so far back in history when the climate wasn't so harsh. These human cultures, now lost to us, nonetheless left behind a number of beautiful and disturbing drawings that have created controversy since their discovery.

Almost nine thousand years ago, one of these cultures flourished on Djebel Zenkekra in the Tassili-n-Ajjer Massif, a natural, fortress-shaped mountain formation that provided relief from the unforgiving desert sun during the day and shelter against the animals that roamed the Neolithic swamps which would later turn to desert.

The Tassili Culture, for want of a better name, bequeathed to posterity a collection of 4000 images, painted in a variety of colors unavailable to their counterparts in the Altamira and Lascaux Caves: using flints for brushes, dark reds, yellows, and even shades of green supplemented the basic reds and whites available to the prehistoric cave artists. Everyday life was their subject matter--the endless cycle of hunting, battle, and domestic life was captured in stone, along with a gallery of figures which stand out in stark contrast to humans in their workaday poses. While there are many such examples of cave art in other rock shelters and ledges throughout the upper reaches of the Sahara, the ones on Djebel Zenkekra hold a special fascination.

Discovered by the 19th century French explorer Henri Lhote, these figures were so unusual he dubbed them "Martians," explaining "their contour is simple, unartistic, and with rounded heads; their only detail is the double oval at the figure's centre, which evokes the image we currently have of Martians."

Lhote's round-headed denizens of the Red Planet were depicted by the primitive cave artists as wearing suits strongly reminiscent of those worn by our own astronauts on the Moon, down to the detail of the boots. Several hundred such drawings exist, scattered over many miles of desert: strange helmeted and antennaed figures, often floating in weightlessness as if the artist had been able to witness one of our modern spacewalks. Other images are of a technological bent, showing what could be taken as solar panels, space stations, floating spheres containing humanoid figures.

Unwilling to be caught up in the ancient astronaut craze, anthropologists have suggested that the Tassili "roundheads" are merely ceremonial dancers or priests wearing empty gourds over their heads. The problem with this rational approach is that the agricultural know-how and resources to grow pumpkins were nonexistent in North Africa at the time the Tassili drawings were created, and would probably not have been available for another thousand years.

Could extraterrestrial visitors included the then-lush Tassili region among their forays in ancient human history? Dozens of books in an equal number of languages have provided circumstantial evidence of non-human intervention in earthly affairs. Biblical texts speak of the "sons of God" attracted by the "daughters of Men," Mayan bas-reliefs depict what could be a space traveler, and so forth. But it is this forsaken complex of African drawings that provides a graphic illustration a similar nature.

In 1976, braving desert sands, Polisario terrorists, and suspicious Algerian security forces, Spanish researchers Jorge Blaschke, Rafael Brancas and Julio Mart¡nez reached the Tassili Massif to conduct a systematic study of the enigmatic cave drawings. In the course of their research, they were stunned to find a clear depiction of a helmeted and suited figure, linked by a tether to the interior of a large, spherical object, leading three human females toward it. Dr. Mart¡nez noticed that the artist had taken great care in showing the women: one of them an adolescent, the other a mother carrying a child, and the third a visibly pregnant woman. Could this be representative of the genetic experiments which are allegedly still being conducted in our days by large-headed Greys.

UFOs still make their presence felt in the modern Sahara. Aim‚ Michel mentions a sighting made at Ouallen, some 250 miles west of the Tassili-N-Ajjer, in 1942. A group of meteorologists spotted an object at an altitude of 18,000 ft. which they described as a revolving "planet." The object remained above them for two days before disappearing. Cigar-shaped objects were reported on numerous occasions throughout Algeria in the 1950's--the French air base at Tessalit (Algeria) mistook a low-flying UFO for a DC-3 about to land. The mysterious light made a characteristic 90ø turn, and climbed into the night sky, vanishing from sight. Even the 1976 Spanish expedition was treated to a UFO sighting near the desert air-strip of In Salah on its way to Tassili.

The examples of cave art found in the Spanish caverns of Ojo Guare¤a and Altamira, and the French ones at Lascaux and Font de Gaume, have proven that our distant ancestors were able to represent what they saw with a clarity and simplicity that is stunning to twentieth century eyes. This skill extends to depictions of things that anthropologists and archaeologists often find troublesome: equally faithful representations of domed objects, some of them in threes, others with legs or antennae.

The small French village of Le Cabrerets lies next to the impressive Pech Merle Cavern--a colossal labyrinthine complex almost a mile long. Using a red pigment, Cro-Magnon artists depicted on one of its walls a being that would fall perfectly into Dr. Padilla's taxonomy: it has an enormous bald head, an unusually pointed chin, no ears, and its eyes are represented as elongated slits which taper toward its temples. The straight lines crossing the figure appear to indicate that it was wounded or slain by caveman spears, while a drawing of a hat-shaped object appears floating over the creature's head. Nor is Pech Merle an oddity: Twenty miles away, another cave, Cougnac, contains a similar representation of a wounded or slain creature. Lest we think that Cro-Magnon artists lacked a flair for depicting the human form, it should be noted that other French caves, such as Rouffignac, contain clearly recognizable human figures, including what seem to be mask-wearing humans. The Pech Merle and Cougnac "dead men" are clearly something else. Archaeologists tell us that these ancient images were drawn at the beginning of the Magdalenian Period--some twenty thousand years ago.

The Ojo Guare¤a complex, weaving its way for miles into the earth, poses an undecipherable riddle. In his book En Busca de la Historia Perdida (In Search of Forgotten History), Spanish author and filmmaker Juan G. Atienza states that some of the cave systems many entrances are considered "evil," and the local farmers will not till the soil near them nor even come close to them. Containes precisely within one of these "evil" points of access is an ancient petroglyph of what could only be, astounding though it might seem, a representation of the helicoidal structure of DNA.

But the Old World certainly does not have a monopoly on these paleolithic enigmas. North America has also provided its share of enigmatic prehistoric drawings. A particularly impressive one can be found at Canyonlands National Park, in Utah. There, a duo of unusual creatures (remarkably similar to those depicted at Tassili) is engaged in strange activity: one of them appears to be pointing an item at the ground--a flashlight? Farther south, an artist of Mexico's Tlatilco culture drew a perfect image of a little man who gives the impression of wearing boots and a square helmet.

Petroglyphs found in caves both on the island of Hispaniola and in Puerto Rico often represent highly unusual images, such as hirsute, bearded male figures, hooded faces, beings with what appear to be hoses connecting their heads to their backs, and even more disturbing depictions. One of the petroglyphs found at Cueva de Las Maravillas, on the island of Hispaniola (Santo Domingo) depicts a bearded figure together with an artifact that appears to be suspended in mid-air. Images found in Taino caves on other parts of the island represent flying objects with dangling ladders.

When even steadfast UFO naysayers like Carl Sagan are willing to concede that alien visitations in the remote past cannot be dismissed out of hand, can we still believe that this evidence, which is there for anyone to see, is simply a misinterpretation of conventional events, seen from a primitive human perspective? Or can we lend credence to the ancient Sumerian and Babylonian stories of divine beings coming down to earth to teach humans the rudiments of civilization? The subject will remain open to endless debate, unfortunately, for the forseeable future.

It is rather amazing that such sophisticated people, as we judge ourselves to be, do not even know who we are. And it becomes rather dismaying to discover that there is a great deal of suppressed, ignored, and misplaced pre-historical cultural evidence that would alter the established interpretations of human origins and provide us with a much clearer definition of what it means to be human.

Archaeologists, anthropologists, and various academicians who play the "origins of Man" game, reluctantly and only occasionally acknowledge instances where unique skeletal and cultural evidence from the prehistoric record suddenly appear long before they should -- and in places where they should not. These irritating artefacts destroy the orderly evolutionary line that academia has for so long presented to the public. Consequently, such data has been largely left buried in site reports, forgotten storage rooms, and dusty archives.

Although the Leakeys, that eminent family of anthropologists, have offered dramatic new evidence that the "homo" lineage goes back at least three million years, the academic consensus holds that an ancestor of modern man evolved about one million years ago. Homo Sapiens, the "thinking man," our own species... became the dominant planetary life form on a worldwide basis about 40,000 years ago.

It is difficult enough to explain the sudden appearance or influx of Homo Sapiens at that time, but it is an even more complex question to ponder why Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon man correspondingly disappeared. And just when Richard Leakey is adding to a growing body of evidence that mankind developed in Africa, a Hungarian excavation surrenders a Homo Sapiens skull fragment in a context more than 600,000 years out of alignment with the accepted calendar of man's migrations across the planet.

The Creationist may present an extreme point of view when he maintains that the world is roughly only 6000 years old and that man himself is only a few days younger, but what happens to evolution when there are such sites as the one in Australia, which yielded Homo Sapiens (modern man), Homo erectus (our million-year-old ancestor), and Neanderthal (our Stone Age cousin) in what appears to be a contemporaneous environment? Then there is the Tabun site where Homo Sapiens fragments were found in strata below (which means older than) classic Neanderthal bones. This is but one of several digs that has produced evidence of modern man before what is accepted as one of his predecessors.

Somewhere, in what would appear to be a biological and cultural free-for-all, there must lie the answer to that most important question: Who are we?

But just as we are trying our best to fit skeletal fragments together in a manner that will be found acceptable to what we believe we know about our origins, pre-Adamite footprints are being found, which, if they are what they appear to be, will make total shambles of our accepted evolutionary calendar. In Pershing County, Nevada, a shoe print was found in Triassic limestone, strata indicative of 400 million years, in which the fossilized evidence clearly revealed finely wrought double-stitching in the seams.

Early in 1975, Dr. Stanley Rhine of the University of New Mexico announced his discovery of human-like footprints in strata indicative of 40 million years old. A few months before, a similar find was made in Kenton, Oklahoma. At almost the same time, a similar discovery was revealed in north-central Wisconsin. At Glen Rose, Texas a 16-inch hominid footprint was next to dinosaur tracks in contemporaneous strata, thereby suggesting that man may have outlived the giant reptiles by 80 million years.

If man lived at the same time as the dinosaurs, he might have been a king-sized fellow to better confront the gigantic reptiles. Skeletal remains of surprisingly large human beings have been discovered all over the Americas, from Minnesota to Nicaragua. The skeletons average in size from seven to over eight feet tall -- and none of them are carved "Cardiff" hoaxes.

In Death Valley, there is ample fossil and skeletal evidence to indicate that the desolate area was once a tropical Garden of Eden where a race of giants lived and fed themselves with palatable foods taken from the local lakes and forests.

To speak of a race of prehistoric giants in what is now the desert sands of Death Valley is simultaneously to refute the doctrine which decrees that man is a relative newcomer to the North and South American continents. While on the one hand, new radiocarbon dates demonstrate that the Bering Land Bridge and Cordilleran Ice Corridor were not passable until 9000 years ago, an increasing amount of physical evidence indicates that man was surely in this hemisphere much earlier than that recent date.

For one thing, corn, a New World contribution to the pantries, is said to be, at 9000 years, our oldest domesticated seed crop. Some earliest agriculturist had to be on this continent more than 9000 years ago in order to domesticate the seed. Conclusive proof that such ancient farmers did exist was offered when a Humble Oil Company drill brought up Mexican corn pollen that was more than 80,000 years old.

The anomalous Indian blood seration and dentition and the geographic distribution of the American Indian demands an impossible genetic time scale in which to transform Asiatic immigrant to distinctive New World inhabitant. Even if we attempt to keep some kind of peace with the accepted theories of New World habitation, we must grant more evolution in 40,000 years in North America than that which took place in more than one million years in Europe, Africa, and Asia.

We might rest our case by providing as evidence the 50,000 year-old skulls found in California, which are clearly those of American Indians, but we are left with another mystery. A 140,000 year old American Indian type skull (via metric analysis) has been found at an Iranian excavation site.

What enormously complicates the above finding is the uneasy fact that no precedent or prior skull types of the American Indian have been found anywhere in the world. The Amerindians appear without any evolutionary transformational base.

The sites of the mysterious Mullions also offer no end of trouble to conventional timetables and esteemed evolutionary structures. The Mullion culture suddenly appeared approximately 10,000 years ago along the Algerian coast with the largest skeletal population in the entire prehistoric record. In addition, the Mullions also possessed the largest cranial capacity of any population the world has ever known -- approximately 2,000 cc versus our present 1,400 cc. Whoever the Mullions were, they inhabited the site only briefly, and their population consisted mostly of women and children, who worked with tool types and domesticated animals never before seen.

As we shall see again and again, we have such a limited knowledge and practically no understanding of the worlds before our own. For example, who walked the streets of that remarkable ''minicivilization" in Yugoslavia? Whoever strode the boulevards of those now silent cities were once citizens of a culture that flourished before ancient Egypt and China -- 5000 years before the glory that was Greece.

What of the lost Amerindian civilization of Cahokia, complete with pyramids and a great wall? One site, near the present city of St. Louis, may have contained a metropolis of more than 250,000 North American Indians. And who constructed the mysterious seven-mile walls of the Berkeley and Oakland, California, hills? Or the stone wall that runs for 20 miles near Petra in Jordan? And which pre-Mayan peoples engineered an elaborate waterworks in Yucatan to irrigate crops over 2000 years ago?

And orthodox pooh-poohing to the contrary, the pyramids do hold many mysteries. No one has ever really answered the anomalies of the Egyptian and Mexican pyramids; no one has truly dated them; and if we accept established theories for their construction, no one has explained how the earliest and smallest populations could erect the largest architecture.

Scientific knowledge has seemingly been prized by certain inhabitants of every culture, known and unknown.

Rock engravings, which may be as old as 60 million years, depict in step-by-step illustrations an entire heart-transplant operation and a Cesarean section. These 150,00 engraved stones also portray scenes indicating that a very special race of man actually lived at the same time as the prehistoric monster reptiles.

The ancient Egyptians used the equivalent of contraceptive jelly and had urine pregnancy tests. The cement used in filling Mayan dental cavities still holds after 1500 years. The Caracol Tower at Chichen Itza is a remarkable Mesoamerican observatory that seems to have correlated its findings with similar sites in North America, including Mesa Verde, Wichita, and Chaco Canyon. No fabric is supposed to have been found until Egypt produced cloth material 5000 years ago. How, then, can we deal with the Russian site which provides spindle whorls and patterned fabric designs more than 80,000 years old? Not only did the ancient Babylonians appear to use sulfur matches, but they had a technology sophisticated enough to employ complex electrochemical battery cells with wiring. There is also evidence of electric batteries and electrolysis in ancient Egypt, India, and Swahililand.

There is evidence of a metal-working factory of over 200 furnaces which was found at what is now Medzamor in Russian Armenia. Although a temperature of over 1780 degrees is required to melt platinum, some pre-Incan peoples in Peru were making objects of the metal. Even today the process of extracting aluminum from bauxite is a complicated procedure, but Chou Chu, famous general of the Tsin era (265-316 A.D.), was interred with aluminium belt fasteners on his burial costume. Relics found embedded in solid rock or in ancient, undisturbed strata are called "erratics" The discoveries of these erratics suggest a vast antiquity for man's existence on this planet.

Carved bones, chalk, stones, together with what would appear to be greatly ornamented ''coins," have been brought up from great depths during well-drilling operations. A strange, imprinted slab was found in a coal mine. The artifact was decorated with diamond-shaped squares with the face of an old man in each ''box." In another coal-mine discovery, miners found smooth, polished concrete blocks which formed a solid wall. According to one miner's testimony. he chipped one block open only to find the standard mixture of sand and cement that makes up most typical building blocks of today.

A gold necklace was found embedded in a lump of coal. A metal spike was discovered in a silver mine in Peru. An iron implement was found in a Scottish coal-bed. Estimated to be millions of years older than man is believed to have existed. A metal, bell-shaped vessel, inlaid with a silver floral design was blasted out of solid rock near Dorchester, Massachusetts.

Two hypotheses may explain the presence of these perplexing artifacts, these "erratics": 1) that they were manufactured by an advanced civilization on Earth which, due either to natural or technological catastrophe, was destroyed before our world's own genesis; 2) that they are vestiges of a highly technological civilization of extraterrestrial origin, which visited this planet millions of years ago, leaving behind various artifacts.

Even if a highly advanced extraterrestrial race might have visited this planet in prehistoric times, it seems unlikely such common, everyday items as nails, necklaces, buckles and vases would have been carried aboard a spacecraft deposited in such widely separated areas; for erratics have been found in North and South America, Great Britain, the whole of Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Mid-East.

The question of just what exactly may have happened to these worlds before our own is one that invites a great deal of highly speculative thinking. In spite of the general unpopularity of catastrophism, there does seem to be a number of recently discovered "proofs" of ancient cataclysmic changes in the Earth's crust which may account for the nearly total disappearance of these prehistoric worlds. Geological evidence indicates that these changes were both sudden and drastic might have completely overwhelmed and destroyed the early inhabitants and their cultures.

Perhaps the most potentially mind-boggling evidence of an advanced prehistoric technology that might have blown its parent-culture away is to be found in those sites which ostensibly bear mute evidence of pre-Genesis nuclear reactions.

In earlier writings I told of the "fused green glass" found deep in the strata of an archaeological dig. The statement that such material had been known previously only at nuclear testing sites (where the sand had melted to form the substance) proved to be an unsettling thought for many readers. But throughout the planet, in the same geologic strata, there unequivocally exists areas which scientists state are strongly suggestive of nuclear reactions. Could it be possible that these sites provide evidence of a prehistoric nuclear war? ''Fused green glass" has been found in such sites as pierrelatte in Gabon, Africa; the Euphrates Valley; the Sahara Desert; the Gobi Desert; Iraq; the Mojave Desert; Scotland; the Old and Middle Kingdoms of Egypt; and south-central Turkey. At the same time, scientists have found a number of uranium deposits that appear to have been mined or depleted in antiquity.

It is becoming increasingly evident that our notions of human history are not simply mistaken but in need of a total overhaul. The evidence is beginning to mount to the point where it can no longer be ignored; all across the planet archaeological finds are being made that are distinctly at odds with the conventional notions of humanity’s past and point to a revolution in the way we see ourselves and our origins.

Over the last two centuries various archeological finds have been unearthed which do not fit into the conventional time-scale of pre-history; these so-called archeological anomalies have largely been buried in site reports or left to gather dust in museum storage rooms. However the sheer volume of these finds and the very nature of some of them calls for another look at the worlds before our own.

Academic consensus maintains that the ancestor of modern man emerged one million years ago. Whilst modern man, homo sapiens, only emerged as the dominant planetary life form some 40,000 years ago; this is generally the line held by conventional archeologists and anthropologists, in spite of the fact that there is considerable evidence to the contrary.

Thus we have the case of the metal spheres found by miners in the Western Transvaal, South Africa. Over the past few decades miners in the area have come across metal spheres, often grooved, in layers of sedimentation estimated at 2.8 billion years old. According to Roelf Marx, curator of the Klerksdorp museum where they are kept: “The spheres are a complete mystery. . .They’re nothing like I have ever seen before.” Moreover the spheres are so hard that they cannot be scratched, even with a hard metal point. In 1979 several were closely examined by J.R. McIver, professor of geology at the University of Witwatersrand in Jo’burg and Andries Bischoff, geology professor at Potschefstroom University. What they found only deepened the mystery; averaging 1 to 4 inches in diameter the spheres are usually coloured steel blue with tiny flecks of white fibers embedded in them. They were found to be made of a nickel-steel alloy which does not occur naturally, and is of such a composition that excludes any meteoric origin. Quite simply they do not fit into any conventional prehistoric time-scale.

Likewise an early Paleolithic skull on display in London’s Natural History Museum would seem to defy all conventional archeology. Dated at 38,000 years old and excavated in 1921 in modern Zambia, the skull bears a perfectly round hole about a third of an inch in diameter on its left side. Opposite the hole, the cranium is shattered, and reconstruction of the fragments show that the skull was smashed from the inside out, as if from a bullet wound. Forensic experts who have examined the skull all agree that the cranial damage could only have been caused by a high speed projectile. So the fact that the skull was excavated from a depth of 60 foot, of mostly lead rock, only deepens the mystery.

Just as baffling is the case of an iron pot found in a block of coal. Thus according to an affidavit made by Frank J. Kenwood in 1912: “While I was working in the Municipal Electric Plant in Thomas, Okla, in 1912, I came upon a solid chunk of coal which was too large to use. I broke it with a sledge hammer. This iron pot fell from the center, leaving the impression or mould of the pot in the piece of coal. . .I traced the source of the coal and found that it came from the Wilburton, Oklahoma, Mines.” According to Robert O. Fay of the Oklahoma Geological Survey, the Wilburton mine coal is about 312 million years old.

In a similar vein, so to speak, we have this account first published in Brad Steigers ‘World’s Before Our Own: “In the year 1928, I, Atlas Almon Mathis, was working in coal mine No. 5., located two miles north of Heavener, Oklahoma. This was a shaft mine, and they told us it was two miles deep. The mine was so deep that they let us down into it in an elevator . . .They pumped air down to us, it was so deep.” After blasting the miners came across what appeared to be some concrete blocks, according to Mathis: “These blocks were 12-inch cubes and were so smooth and polished on the outside that all six sides could serve as mirrors. Yet they were full of gravel, because I chipped one of them with my pick, and it was plain concrete inside.”

“As I started to timber the room up,” Mathis continued, “it caved in; and I barely escaped. When I came back after the cave-in, a solid wall of these polished blocks was left exposed. About 100 to 150 yards farther down our air core, another miner struck this same wall, or one very similar.” The coal in the mine was probably carboniferous which, according standard dating methods, would mean that the wall was at least 286 million years old.

Thereafter the mining company officials pulled the men out of the mine and forbade them to speak about what they had found. In a strange twist of fate the men were then sent to the Wilburton mine mentioned previously. According to Mathis the miners there spoke of having found “a solid block of silver in the shape of a barrel . . .with the prints of the staves on it.”

As far back as the eighteen hundreds artifacts were being unearthed which defied conventional archeology. For example in 1871, William E. Dubois of the Smithsonian Institute reported finding several man-made objects whilst drilling a well in Marshall County, Illinois. Using a “common ground auger” a number of coin like objects were recovered from a depth of about 114 feet. At that depth the Illinois State Geological Survey estimates the deposits were made “sometime between 200,000 and 400,000 years ago.”

Dudois concluded that one coin in particular could only have been made in a machine shop. Noting its uniform thickness, he said the coin must have “passed through a rolling mill; and if the ancient Indians had such a contrivance, it must have been pre-historic.”

.W. Moffat, who was working with Dubois at the time, reported to the Smithsonian that other anomalous objects were found whilst drilling in nearby Whiteside County, Illinois. At a depth of 120 feet, workmen discovered “a large copper ring or ferrule, similar to those used on ship spars at the present time. . . They also found something fashioned like a boat-hook.” Moffat concluded that: “There are numerous instances of relics found at lesser depths. A spear-shaped hatchet, made of iron, was found embedded in clay at 40 feet; and stone pipes and pottery have been unearthed at depths varying from 10 to 50 feet in many localities.”

The Illinois State Geological Survey noted in 1984 that the age of deposits at 120 feet in Whiteside County varies greatly; in some places, they might only be 50,000 years old, whilst in other places one would find Silurian bedrock 410 million years old.

And still, the evidence of world’s before our own continues to grow.

On October 8,1922, The New York Sunday American ran a prominent feature by Dr W.H. Ballou: “while he was prospecting for fossils in Nevada,” Ballou wrote, “John T. Reid, a distinguished mining engineer and geologist, stopped suddenly and looked down in utter bewilderment and amazement at a rock near his feet.” What Reid had actually stumbled on was, it appeared, a fossilized footprint. According to Ballou it was, “apparently, a shoe sole which had turned into stone . . .there was the outline of at least two-thirds of it , and around this outline ran a well defined sewn thread which had, it appeared, attached the welt to the sole. Further on there was another line of sewing” . . .and . . “an indentation, exactly such as would have been made by the bone of the heel rubbing upon and wearing down the material of which the sole had been made.”

Reid then took the fossil to New York where it was examined by a number of eminent scientists. Their conclusions were unanimous, in effect “it was the most remarkable natural imitation of an artificial object they had ever seen.” The scientists were also agreed that the rock formation was Triassic in origin whilst Dr W. D. Mathew of the American Museum of Natural History declared it a remarkable imitation, “a freak of nature.”

Despite Mathew’s dismissal, Reid persisted: “I next got hold of a micro-photographer and an analytical chemist” wrote Reid: “The micro-photo magnifications are twenty times larger than the specimen itself, showing the minutest detail of thread twist and warp, proving conclusively that the shoe sole is not a resemblance, but is strictly the handiwork of man. Even to the naked eye the threads can be seen distinctly . . .I will add that at least two geologists . . .have admitted that the shoe sole is valid, a genuine fossilization in Triassic rocks.” It should be added that the Triassic period is now generally dated at around 213 - 248 million years ago.

Some of the archeological anomalies discovered, like the above, are quite prosaic and certainly not the product of a hi-tech civilization. However some very obviously are the vestiges of a technically very advanced culture; like the minute spiral shaped objects unearthed in the Eastern Urals which bear a remarkable resemblance to cutting edge nano-technology, as detailed in earlier stories.


Some other anomalies are quite literally monumental however, such as the ziggurat found off the coast of Okinawi, Japan. Over 600 feet wide and 90 feet high, the edifice was initially thought to be a natural formation on its discovery, nearly 10 years ago. However closer inspection prompted a reassessment. Thus according to Professor Kimura, a marine geologist at the University of Okinawa: “This could only have been done by a people with a high degree of technology . . .There would have been some sort of machinery involved to create such a huge structure.”


Elsewhere similar evidence has been unearthed which points to scientific and technical knowledge existing long before it was previously assumed. In 1938, Dr Wilhelm Kong, an Austrian archeologist, was rummaging around the basement of a Baghdad museum when he came across a six inch high pot of clay. The pot contained a cylinder of sheet copper which was soldered with a 60-40 lead-tin alloy, whilst the bottom of the cylinder was a crimped-in copper disk sealed with bitumen. Another insulating layer of bitumen sealed the top and held in place an iron rod suspended into the centre of the copper cylinder. With a background in mechanics, Dr Kong immediately recognized that what he was looking at was, in effect, a battery. What was unusual though was that it had been unearthed from an archeological site dated 2000 years old, whilst other similar artifacts had been recovered from sites dated as far back as 5000 years. These latter were unearthed from Sumerian remains in southern Iraq and dated to at least 2,500 BC. That’s long before Michael Faraday is said to have discovered electromagnetic induction and the laws of electrolysis in the early 1800’s.

So the million dollar question is: were these artifacts the forerunner of Faraday’s discovery . . . or the vestiges of a technically advanced civilization? And if these artifacts were the remnants of an advanced civilization then there follows the Billion dollar question: what exactly happened to this civilization? Could it have been that it was engulfed in some kind of nuclear Armageddon? Evidence indicative of nuclear explosions has been discovered across the planet in the form of “fused green glass” found deep in the strata of various archeological digs. Usually only found at nuclear testing sites, the glass has been unearthed at various archeological digs as far apart as Gabon, Africa, the Gobi Desert and Scotland.

Is it possible that a previous civilization was destroyed by a nuclear conflict? Could it be that a handful of survivors emerged from the ruins of a nuclear apocalypse and then, over millennia, slowly rebuilt civilization? Or could there be another reason for these anomalies. Whilst we accept that the above may well be a possibility we would suggest that there maybe other explanations.

We would suggest that shifting crustal displacements could be a critical factor here. This theory, first postulated by Charles H. Hapgood and subsequently backed by no less than Albert Einstien, was outlined by Richard Noone in the ‘Hammer and the Pendulum’, featured previously. More than that though we would suggest that this scenario has occurred not just once but on a number of previous occasions; indeed what we are looking at is a cyclic pattern, a pattern that has embossed itself across the face of unrecorded human history.

As Richard Noone described in his article the event would be dramatic and cataclysmic, triggering a geological Armageddon; across the planet there would a wave of earthquakes, floods and volcano’s as the planets rigid crust suddenly shifted and tore itself asunder. And for those few who were not killed in the initial shocks there would only be a desperate struggle to survive in the ruins of a shattered civilization. Stripped of everything that they had taken for granted they would be left with nothing but memories of the former civilization. And then a few generations later there would little else but stories of a golden age and a great flood that had destroyed everything in its path. As the millennia passed so too would the memories and stories fade, until one day millennia later there would be little else but legends of a fabulous civilization and stories of a mythical flood. And maybe, just maybe, a few archeological anomalies that would one day baffle future scientists.
