There have been no less than four new articles in UFO Digest in the past several weeks on the movie, The Day The Earth Stood Still. This movie like the concept of 2012 has captured the public imagination. Sure, I saw the movie myself on New Years Day because I had the seen the original in the fifties as a youngster and it had forever affected my mindset. Movies like this along with Earth vs. Flying Saucers, War of the Worlds> and Forbidden Planet convinced me of the possibility of UFOs and alien life which affected my interests and life goals for the next thirty years. I wanted to see if the remake would have a similar effect. Fortunately, I have matured a lot in the intervening years and have found the answers elsewhere that I had been searching for all of my life.
For those who like their paranormal reading liberally doused with Biblical references, this is the book for you. William L. Blessing may be a little known voice in the choir of the unexplained, but he has here produced a symphony of his own hard work, material assembled over a lifetime of diligent study of the scriptures and an honest rendering of the metaphysical strangeness he has experienced and born witness to. Blessing skillfully builds his argument that the Bible makes clear reference to a world inside our Earth, the Inner Earth of the book's title. Those include verses about Christ descending into the Inner Earth to preach the gospel to the World of the Dead, as well as references in scripture to the fallen angels residing in their private Hell below our feet.

This past Christmas I wrote a story about a family who lives with the ghost of a old man who once lived in their home about 40 years ago. He would make his presence known more often during the holidays, but always seemed to be a well-mannered spirit who never caused any harm or alarm. I always thought the idea of living with the unknown something better left alone. I suggested a few times to this family that they find a professional in the area of haunting who could move this spirit on. The family seemed perfectly content living with this spirit so I did not give the situation any more thought.

In March of 1980, John J. Williams, a New Mexico Patriot who published the anti-Communist oriented REBEL MAGAZINE (at the time available from: Consumertronics Co., c/o John J. Williams. Pres., 2011 Crescent Dr., P.O. Drawer 537., Alamogardo, NM 88310) revealed some incredible details on an alleged subterranean system which the Navy had been exploring below the western United States. The report appeared in issue No. 6 of his magazine, and was later reproduced in the Fall, 1985 (#164) issue of SEARCH Magazine, at the time edited by Marjorie Palmer, widow of the late Ray Palmer. The article, titled CALIFORNIA FLOATS ON OCEAN?, revealed the following:
