This past Christmas I wrote a story about a family who lives with the ghost of a old man who once lived in their home about 40 years ago. He would make his presence known more often during the holidays, but always seemed to be a well-mannered spirit who never caused any harm or alarm. I always thought the idea of living with the unknown something better left alone. I suggested a few times to this family that they find a professional in the area of haunting who could move this spirit on.
