Pancha Bhoota Healing

with the 5 Elements

Bhoota or 5 element healing is a very effective, natural, holistic alternative medicine or alternative therapy for all diseases.

How is this 5 element healing or Pancha Bhoota different from all other alternative therapies?

1. The objective of this approach is to strengthen the body's own immunity to heal diseases. The methodology is oriented towards both body and mind.

2. Some of the other therapies claim that by using certain herbs diseases will be healed. While some others claim that by doing meditation or yoga alone disease can be overcome. Still others say that the detoxification procedure can make the body healthy.

Pancha Bhoota says no one aspect is fully effective; but when all these approaches are combined, healing becomes complete. The five components of Pancha Bhoota not only detoxify the body, but also purify the mind and bring about integration of the body and mind, the critical step in healing.

Why Five Steps?

There are three types of toxins that build up in the system that causes diseases

1. Water soluble toxins

2. Fat soluble toxins

3. Toxins of the mind

The first two act at the body level and the third one at the mind level, which we shall discuss later. The two body toxins should be cleansed out of the body on a daily basis like cleaning our house, car or clothes. Due to our ignorant lifestyle, however, we accumulate these toxins in different parts of the body, which finally leads to different diseases.

Getting rid of these toxins is the only effective way of treating any disease. Through the integrated and effective approach of Pancha Bhoota healing we help you to get rid of these toxins not only to get rid of diseases but also for future prevention.

Read the first step to remove water soluble toxins.

The end products of various metabolic reactions become toxic to the body and are mostly water soluble. Every night we undergo a fasting period (no food or drink is consumed) , until the next day when we break the fast with "breakfast".

1. Water soluble Toxins: - Water Therapy

During this fasting period, thirty trillion cells in the human body spit out toxic metabolic wastes into our bloodstream. Water Therapy means drinking water first thing in the morning, to the fullest capacity of our stomach. The capacity of our stomach is 1.5 liters (0.396 gallons, 1.58 quarts, 3.2 pints ,or 6.3 cups).
Drinking this much water all at once cleanses the stomach and intestines, the blood and all organs, rejuvenating them, removing all water soluble toxins from them in the form of urine. It is interesting to note that many diseases have been healed just by removing the water soluble toxins from our body.

However, by removing water soluble toxins alone we cannot clear all diseases. Fat soluble toxins might be needed to be removed to bring about complete healing.

2. Fat Soluble Toxins: - Earth Therapy

If you want to clean a cloth, rinsing it in water alone will not help. Because, with water only water soluble toxins will be removed. Fat soluble toxins or greasy toxins must be removed with soap.

Our body similarly removes fat soluble toxins through a soap it manufactures called bile. Bile has two functions, one of which is to emulsify the fats and make it easy for digestion. The liver detoxifies all the toxins that enter the body. It converts chemicals into water soluble chemicals so that the kidneys can throw these out of the body through urine. This is where water therapy helps the liver and kidneys to do their jobs more effectively.

> 2. Fat Soluble Toxins: - Earth Therapy

Some times the liver may not be able to convert a chemical completely into water soluble form. The liver produces a body soap called bile. The fat soluble toxins easily gets dissolved in the bile and flows through the gall bladder into the small intestines. In the intestine the bile is re-absorbed, while the toxins get mixed with fiber in the food and get excreted.

However due to our wrong life style of eating refined foods that are less in fiber, makes the toxins also to be re-absorbed into the body again. Over time the toxins builds up in different parts of the body and damages the genes of the cells and other components of the cells causing various diseases.

Therefore the next important step is to get rid of the fat soluble toxins in the body.

1. We recommend to eat more of fiber rich food. The more we eat fiber rich food our system gets cleansed of the toxins.

2. To get rid of the toxins faster we recommend the patients to do castor oil cleansing or herbal cleansing with a very ancient herb "kadukka", depending upon the condition of the patient.

Body Mind Co-ordination: - Fire Therapy

To completely get rid of the water soluble and fat soluble toxins from the body, there should be good circulation of heat throughout the body. This heat is the Fire element. Heat is circulated through blood and lymph, the circulatory system and the lymphatic system. However this involves the aspect of mind because, the Mind is the seat of action or motion and there should be the co-ordination of the mind and the body. This is the purpose of Yoga which means to unite.

We suggest simple Yoga exercises which improves blood, lymphatic and air circulation in the body helping in complete detoxification process.

Wandering Mind: - Air Therapy

Unfortunately to bring about co-ordination of the mind and body at present, the mind is not available. The nature of the mind is to wander and never present in the present (now). The mind is either brooding over the past or anxious of the future.

This fast wandering mind like the air is brought to the present and made available to heal the body through Air therapy. Pranayama is suggested as part of Air therapy, where breathing is done with full awareness. Mind always follows breath (Air) because without it it cannot function. Without food and water, mind can survive but not without Air. Taking this intelligent aspect into consideration we pull the wandering mind and allow it to transcend to the state of Awareness. This state of Awareness is the "Source" of all potentialities, including healing.

Detoxification of the Ego - Space Therapy

The mind wanders away from the Awareness to the outside through the five senses of the body. This is because of the toxin of the mind called Ego. The Ego drives the mind to seek out and not to the inner core of our being, the real "Self".

This is accomplished by the most subtle Element, the Space through Relaxation and Meditation. Through this we watch our thoughts and clearly distinct it from the Ego. This detoxifying the mind from the Ego is in fact the very purpose of Life.

For healing we thus combine holistically the five elements to make the whole process highly effective and complete. Completeness or fullness is the very nature of our "Being".

Alternative Medicine - The Healthy Choice
By Jem Bacchus

Alternative and Conventional Medicines are the two main systems of healing in use today and the utmost caution should be taken to choose wisely.

Being healthy is of crucial importance in the life of everyone. I do not believe that there is anyone who relishes the anguish of disease. Without health you cannot function properly in any area of your life.

Whether enjoying the normal faculties of life or mentally unbalanced, every person would rather be perfectly healthy than endure the tortures of pain, sickness and disease, but there comes a time when we must seek medical help.

It is unfortunate that instead of healing the sick, very often some medicines interfere with the natural process of healing, resulting in additional suffering and further deterioration of health.

In ancient times, illness was cured by the use of herbs and other natural therapies which always proved very effective. Today, those same therapies as well as modern discoveres based on those of ancient times are referred to as alternative medicine and the public has been brainwashed into believing that the treatments are worthless; yet, many diseases that have been deemed 'incurable' are being healed by alternative means but, unfortunately, these cures have never been heard of by countless sufferers.

What is called conventional medicine (also referred to as mainstream, standard, allopathic or orthodox medicine), is man-made synthetic drugs that were not in existence in ancient times. Interestingly, so many diseases were not around in those days as there are today.

The main difference between the two systems is that alternative medicine is concerned about the prevention of disease and pays attention to and deals with the cause by treating the body as a whole. It focuses on preventing disease before it starts. It views the presence of disease as an imbalance of the emotional, mental and physical state of a person and endeavors to support and strengthen the immune system by natural means.

Alternative medicine contends that the body is naturally able to heal itself and remain stable - known in medicine as homeostasis.

On the other hand, conventional medicine is not concerned with preventing disease but rather with using synthetic drugs to cure an already established ailment. It is more interested in treating just the symptoms of disease by scientific techniques and technology instead of treating the whole person.

Many conventional drugs are said to have the potential to damage the liver and kidneys, and cause mental depression, heart falure, cancer and other adverse side effects. Now, if that is so, why are they still being manufactured and sold to the public? Where is the concern for public health and safety?

Note that since the introduction of conventional medicine, instead of there being greater relief from illness, there has been an exponential surge of diseases wreaking havoc in the lives of unsuspecting mortals. Why is this so?

If conventional medicine were the answer to health problems, why are there so many more diseases prevalent today? The interesting thing is that a name is readily given to each new disease and some form of synthetic remedy is quickly manufactured for sale!

Conventional medicine has been so well advertised that the public is convinced that it is the only way they can get relief from devastating illnesses. They jump at the announcement of any new supposedly super healing conventional medicine and with no hesitation embark upon treating themselves. This is especially so in the case of weight loss.

The sad thing is that no real cure is realized from these, whereas there are natural remedies that have been proven to cure. I can personally attest to certain cures that I have experienced through the use of natural remedies.

It is well known that some drug manufacturers have had to withdraw their dangerous medication because of the likelihood of patients suffering heart attack and stroke. Most synthetic drugs, if not all, have dangerous side effects of which the public is unaware. Some are very detrimental to unborn babies. So why are these drugs still being sold and at such exorbitant prices?

The general public is not sufficiently made aware of the dangers of conventional drugs. For obvious reasons, no attempt to do so is made by those who should educate the unwary and encourage the use of alternative medicine.

Obviously, if disease is prevented by natural means before resulting in the breakdown of the immune system which is the body's mechanism of defence against illness, serious diseases such as cancer and other so-called incurable diseases would be revented, and so there would be little need for the administration of expensive conventional medicine since that would be necessary only in case of surgery and other traumatic conditions.

Sad to say, it is reported that nutritional supplements as well as some alternative medicines packaged by some unscrupulous manufacturers are not quite what their labels indicate, and that the potency is far below what is required to be effective. This is not to suggest that they are toxic, but rather that they are not quite as effective as they should be.

If this is so, my personal feeling is that such persons should be exposed and their names posted in full view for all to see. This should curb that undesirable practice. One must therefore be very cautious when choosing nutritional supplements as well as alternative medicines.

Another point that I think worthy of note is about products so readily put on the skin. Most of them are formulated with harmful synthetic substances that get into the blood stream and invariably cause dangerous side effects. As it is said, what you would not eat, you should not put on your skin.

Remember that the skin absorbs and cannot differentiate between synthetic chemicals and natural substances. You may not see the adverse effects now, but years later your skin would speak for itself. You do not want to look older than your age, do you? Then do not poison yourself with the topical application of toxic skin products.

No one should be so busy so as not be able to find time to learn about the natural substances that they could take to protect their own bodies and prevent diseases. Many thousands of persons might have been alive today if only they had known, and had been encouraged to use natural remedies.

I enjoy reading to find out about ancient formulas and treatments that have resurfaced today, as well as new discoveries of natural healing methods and remedies that are gaining momentum amongst health conscious persons.

ĂŹ have collected lots of information on herbal remedies. Among them are such topics as heart health the natural way, aromatherapy essential oils, homeopathy, beautiful skin care, skin diseases, healing for conditions such as acne, hemorrhoids, eczema, etc., weightloss, and many other natural health remedies and detailed information on how to make your own from nature's herbs, vitamins and nutrients.

Many persons seem to be convinced that natural remedies made by God do not have the efficacy of the synthetic remedies made by man!

God who made this world has said "the leaves of the trees for healing of the nations." God is truth and cannot lie. Isn't it time that we took Him at his word?

Why should we put our trust in Satan and his lies and put no confidence in God and His truth?

Since there seems to be no confidence in what God has made, Why don't we make our own water, sunshine, trees, and fresh air? Why do we walk upon God's earth? We should make our own basic items to concoct synthetic remedies instead of corrupting the things that God has made.

You can seek relief from disease either through natural alternative medicine by which you can maintain good health and save; or, through conventional medicine with its ill effects of costly synthetic prescription drugs at the risk of further deterioration of your health. It is up to you to prevent poisoning yourself, avoid unnecessary pain and suffering, and be healthy.

Keep this in mind:

If you really want to fight disease, Natural Medicine is the Healthy Choice; But, if you'd rather be deceased, Synthetic Medicine might be the Deadly Choice!!

Curing Cancer with Baking Soda:

What MDs and Naturopaths Don’t Know

by Gregory Delaney

Wouldn’t the delusional physicians and the big pharmacology swindlers be embarrassed to find that cancer could be cured with nothing more complicated than ordinary baking soda? Well, no, they wouldn’t be embarrassed because they would be outraged. All of their billions in profits vanishing in a twinkle, would not have these betrayers of Mankind at all happy with such a simple cancer cure. And yet, cancer can be cured with nothing more complicated than ordinary baking soda. And I will explain how.

While the greedy physicians and the cancer industry robber barons have been using every imaginable method for treating the symptoms of cancer, and while millions of people have suffered and died under the most astounding variety of mechanical, chemical, bio-technological and radiological absurdities, little progress in curing cancer has actually been made. And why? Well, to understand why, you would have to understand who is treating cancer before you can understand why it is not being cured. Who are these cancer physicians who claim to know so much yet fail to do anything useful?

Firstly, they are people who admit that they don’t know the cause of cancer or how to cure it. And yet they insist that they be allowed to “practice medicine” anyway! These oncologists admit that no matter what they do, you are going to die anyway, and so why not let them do something since they can make better use of your money than you can. Even though they admit that they don’t know what they are doing, they offer you just two (and only two) choices: (1) let them cut-poison-irradiate-and-transplant you which includes a free estimation of how long you will live or (2) do nothing at all which also includes a free, but much shorter, estimation of how long you will live. And so, with such limited choices, most people prefer to bequeath their savings account to the doctors for choice number one. At best, the physicians promise to drug you into unconsciousness so that you do not feel any pain either from your tumors or from their billing department.

But what happens if you don’t take their advice and choose alternative medicine, instead – you know, the choice that the doctors never mention to their patients? Since it has been proven that hospital patients live longer when the doctors go on strike, then alternative medicine is obviously better than a placebo. But they never mention that, either.

Secondly, these oncologists with all of their fancy degrees and years of microscopic confusion are really nothing more than disciples of fraud. This fraud is known as “symptomatic medicine” and these cancer physicians prove their idiocy on a daily basis by classifying cancer as a “disease.” Would it be a joke on them if it was discovered that cancer really is not a disease at all but merely a “symptom” of something else? Hundreds of millions of dying cancer patients would certainly not be laughing. And millions of billionaire Big Pharma swindlers would not be laughing, either. Would it be a joke if it was discovered that cancer is not a disease at all and that these swindling greed-bags were actually mistaking the symptoms for the disease? I don’t think there would be much laughter in finding this to be true; but it is true and here’s how this simple cure works.

The cancer quacks who are known as “modern physicians” (or oncology engineers), all know that there are many things that cause cancer. Does this ring a bell in their mighty brains? No, of course not. If there are many things that cause cancer, then how can cancer be classified as a disease? Isn’t it true, rather, that the many causative agents are the disease while the manifestations of tumors and malignancies are actually the symptom? This may seem strange but think about it a bit. And you alternative practitioners had better think about it a bit since the physicians have already proven that they are on the wrong track and haven’t thought about it enough.

If many things cause cancer (radiation, chemicals, viruses, sunlight, etc.) then even the dumbest physician knows enough to remove the primary cause. So, patients who work in the bright sun or in chemical factories are advised to avoid these situations. Hooray for the doctors who have common sense! But why are they so few?

Once you remove the primal cause, you are still left with a growing malignancy. (I am referring to the growing tumor and not to the doctors and the Big Pharma executives, themselves.) This cancerous growth has certain attributes that the idiot doctors overlook because they have been trained to use the most expensive methods possible for producing the largest possible profit for themselves and for their hospitals and for their drug suppliers. And after extracting all possible savings accounts, checking accounts, real property and insurance benefits, they send the dying patient home after saying, “We have done everything that we can do.” No, I don’t think many people will be laughing to discover that cancer can be cured with baking soda.

But even after the primary cause of the cancer is removed, why do the cancer cells keep growing? The doctors say because cancer is a disease. However, these practitioners of “symptomatic medicine” are mistaking the disease for the symptom. It is more accurate to say that the cancer is not the disease, itself, but is rather the symptom.

The maniac oncologists cut and radiate and poison and burn the cancer cells in an attempt to kill them. But the alternative practitioner prefers to let the powerful defenses of the body do all the work. And why? Because the body can take care of itself just fine as long as you provide it with what it needs to do the necessary healing. In this case, first remove the causative factors of cancer (such as the oncologists and Big Pharma robber barons) and then get to work on the underlying causes.

All cancer has some common denominators that the physicians think are inconsequential. But, if you think about it a little bit, you will see that the oncologists are full of themselves and not full of knowledge. What they think is the disease, is actually the symptom. And what they think is inconsequential is actually the tiny, little cause for all of this suffering and disease. It’s a joke on the doctors, but nobody is laughing.

Here’s how it works. Normal cells that turn cancerous have specific jobs to do. Brain cells do brainy things, heart cells are on a bungee jumper's rush, liver cells strain today’s whiskey, kidney cells strain the beer and save the water, bladder cells hold the nasty stuff that the others strain, and skin cells enjoy a good suntan on a summer day. They all do different jobs. But when they turn cancerous, they throw all of that specialization aside.

Cancer cells do not evolve; they devolve. They do not perform the task specified in the blueprints of DNA, but they rebel and go it alone. Cancer cells give up being a high level technical worker in the body and become instead the lowest form of life. Worse than any truant teenager – all they do all day is eat, excrete, reproduce and do it all while holding their breath. While holding their breath? What is this little detail that is overlooked by the oncologists?

That’s right. Cancer cells don’t require a lot of oxygen to live. In fact, it is this low oxygen level that allows them to thrive. Or to put it in a way that even a physician can understand, cancer cells become cancerous not because they are the disease, but because they are normal cells reacting to the causative factors of disease. That is, cancer cells become cancer cells because they are normal cells that cannot live in any other way. They are following the First Commandment of Life, “Thou must live” and in order for them to live, they must give up their specific functions in the body and devolve to a lower level of Life that is not so demanding of them. They become cancer cells in order to survive, not because they want to be cancer cells.

From this perspective you can say that cancer is normal. It is not a disease, but rather it is the reaction of certain cells in the body to stress factors that cause these cells to choose de-evolution to a cancerous state as a means of cellular survival. They give up being highly advanced cells – brain, heart, liver, kidney, skin, etc. – and take a step downward to a lower function. They become cancerous as a survival strategy because nature only gives them this choice – or they must die. Cancer is the reaction of cells to various factors that will cause their death if they do not devolve to a lower, cancerous state.

Of course, the Big Pharma scoundrels and the physicians-for-hire want to “treat” cancer. Yes, they have devised a trillion “treatments” none of which do any good except to their bank accounts. There is a lot of money in “treatments.” You can talk about “treatments” for years. You can offer your customers … I mean, your “patients” … years and years of the latest and greatest of treatments. Treatments! Treatments! Treatments! Forever! And all of this time, while the victims are suffering and dying and giving the hospitals their last pennies in vain, the doctors can avoid ever, ever mentioning that most forbidden word of modern medicine – “cure.” Why? Because if they actually cure anyone of cancer, then they can’t get them back for any more treatments!

Cancer is easily cured with nothing more complicated than baking soda, but before telling you how this is done, I want to review something that the Johns Hopkins Hospital has stolen from the alternative medical professionals. They sent out a newsletter in 2007 that has also been circulated by the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Although their newsletter did not credit any alternative health practitioners or natural healing groups as to the source for their information, it was gratifying to see that what Naturopaths have been saying for over seventy years is finally being acknowledged by the swindlers of the Medical Monopoly. I will briefly review the main points of this newsletter below so that you Naturopathic Health experts and you idiots in the entrenched Medical Monopoly are all using the same language when you yell at each other.

All naturopaths already know these things, but because it was new to the physicians and oncologists, here briefly is what the Johns Hopkins Hospital newsletter stated:

1. “Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells.

2. “Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastrointestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with un-sweetened soy milk cancer cells are being starved.”

3. “Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.”

4. “A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).”

5. "Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water – best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic. Avoid it.”

6. “Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.”

7. "Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells."

8. “Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs, etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted or unneeded cells.”

9. “Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, un-forgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment.

10. “Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.”

And this ends the good advice that the Johns Hopkins Hospital tosses out … then forgets entirely about. Although they make some basic errors with their assertions because they don’t really understand natural nutrition, it does contain almost everything that naturopaths of all varieties have been practicing and teaching for many years. But, it does not give credit where credit is due. The physicians purloin our knowledge and take it for their own discovery and then they bill their patients for the information that we freely give while pretending to be physicians of great learning. And so, let’s leave these medical maniacs and show how cancer is easily cured with nothing more than baking soda. You will need the above ten points to put the puzzle together. And I will leave you and the physicians to argue about the above data which they have plagiarized without fully understanding.

The newsletter makes much of the importance of avoiding acidic and seeking alkaline but they do not know how to put two-and-two together to make any sense out of the information that they have stolen from us. They do not understand the cheap and easy and effective Naturopathic Way because they follow the fraudulent and profitable and expensive way of symptomatic medicine.

One of the much-overlooked “minor” details of cancer cells is that they thrive in a low oxygen environment. When the body is not able to fully oxygenate, these cells must either die of asphyxiation and toxic build-up or they must devolve to a lower state of existence where they can live and grow without so much oxygen. They become cancerous because there is not enough oxygen for them to remain normally functioning.

In point #1, above, the physicians rightfully state that cancerous cells feed on sugar. Actually, all cells feed on glucose. They absolutely do not seem to understand the difference between what glucose and sucrose do to the blood. What the physicians are missing is that the sucrose table sugar, the white flour products, the red meats, dairy products, coffee, candy and soda pop that the hospital provides from the hospital kitchen and from the Coke and candy machines on every floor, are bad enough on their own. These are the junk foods that the patients, themselves, got sick on. What the physicians do not understand is the blood chemistry that these junk foods unbalance. Yes, they take the necessary chemical tests. But they do not understand their own data because they are looking for a complicated treatment when the simple cure is staring them in the face.

Everybody knows how to stick a toy balloon on the wall after rubbing it on your head. It will stick tightly during dry weather but maybe not at all during damp weather. This is because the electro-static charge is strong during dry weather but gets leaked away during damp weather. Well, the same principle applies to how oxygen sticks to the blood cells during oxygenation, but in an ionic fluid instead of in an electrostatic gas.

As blood cells pass through the lungs, there is a very delicate balancing act that takes place between their cell surfaces and the ionic charges of the surrounding plasma. As they pass through the lungs, these purple-colored blood cells have the ionic charge that they received when picking up carbon dioxide. In contact with lung oxygen, this charge gets reversed so that the carbon dioxide drops off and the reversed charge attracts and picks up oxygen molecules. As their ionic charge reverses as they pick up a full supply of oxygen and their color changes from purple to red, these oxygenated blood cells are carried along through the body until they get into the vicinity of body cells that have a surplus of carbon-dioxide and need some oxygen. At that point, the ionic charges again reverse as the oxygen drops off and the carbon dioxide is attracted and sticks to the blood cell which once again changes to a purple color and is carried to the lungs. Yin and yang, a changing balance of polarities.

But, just like a toy balloon that cannot stick to the wall in wet weather, oxygen cannot stick to a blood cell if the ionic balance of the blood is acidic. This is what the physicians and oncologists are overlooking. Every damned one of them has observed the ringing alarm bell going off but have muffled their ears and closed their eyes because they are looking for some expensive and complicated cure for cancer when both the cause and the cure are actually very simple.

They observe that cancer thrives in an acidic environment but they feed their patients sugar, white flour, red meats, ice cream and cake for dessert at just about every meal. They observe that cancer dies in a high oxygen environment, but they treat their patients to a choice between Coke and Pepsi from the vending machine down the hall. It is either much too simple for them to understand or else they are a witless part of a greedy and voracious conspiracy against the health of all of Mankind. Those are the only two choices. Doctor, take your pick.

The ringing alarm bell that the physicians are overlooking is the blood pH. Every cancer patient that I have ever seen, all without exception, had an acidic blood pH. But while the oncologists are pumping the patient full of chemotherapy, pizzas, pancakes, cokes, ice creams, hamburgers and fries, sweet rolls and jams, followed by radiation and surgery, they are ignoring the fact that cancer thrives in a low oxygen environment.

Oxygen cannot stick to blood cells if the pH of the blood is acidic. And rather than do everything that they can to raise the pH back up to a normal pH of 7.4 so that the blood can function properly, they prefer surgery. All of the advice that they have stolen from Naturopathic medicine about “deep breathing” will do them no good at all. You can breath pure oxygen until you catch on fire but if the blood pH is acidic, then the oxygen will not be able to be picked up by the blood cells. It is chemically impossible. The blood must be normal and normal blood has a pH of around 7.4 pH. Any vestigial traces of oxygen that the acid-drenched blood cells manage to pick up are stripped off early by the oxygen-starved cells along the way and never reach the deeper parts of the body where oxygen is most needed. And because the pH is acidic, carbon dioxide also is not transported efficiently and so builds up within the tissues leading both to cell death and to a cell-to-cancer de-evolution for survival.

So, yes, cancer can be cured with ordinary baking soda. Bicarbonate is found in the blood naturally for the very real purpose of neutralizing acids. Therefore, those who want to cure your cancers should first follow the stolen advise found in the above newsletter. Not that the oncologists understand or follow this advice, themselves, but since they stole it from Naturopathic medicine at least we can all agree that it is good advice. So, go to the health food stores and change your diet immediately.

But also do this: Take a pinch of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) into your mouth, run it around your teeth and gums with your tongue while being sure to reach into the deepest parts of your gums and teeth and swallow it three times a day – more or less depending on how you feel. Also, drink a glass of water containing a teaspoon of baking soda before going to bed each night. But don’t over do this. Baking soda can kill you if you take too much of it. Take just a little bit and see how it makes you feel. If you feel okay, then take some more. Don’t overdo it but don’t be afraid to experiment. After all, the doctors experiment on you every time you go to see them as they “practice medicine”. So, why not experiment on yourself and save the money and the pain. But by all means change your diet to a natural and alkaline diet. And make baking soda a part of that diet.

The physicians will charge you a lot of money to take a pH test of your blood, but you can start monitoring the pH, yourself, by purchasing some pH test strips from a pharmacy. Test your tongue pH in the morning as well as your urine pH. Practice some yoga or Tai Chi Chuan or other deep breathing exercises and go on long walks to enjoy fresh air and your days on Earth. As your blood pH moves back up to the alkaline side of the chart, your deep breathing will fully oxygenate your blood. The cancer cells cannot survive all of that fresh oxygen so they die. And your T-killer cells, being full of vigor, will kill the cancer cells that remain. It’s as simple as that.

This is not advice that a cancer doctor will give you but it is advice that you can take whether you accept his treatments or not. After all, the normal pH of your blood is 7.4 but if the doctor wants to treat you without regard to what is normal, then maybe you should put yourself in Nature’s hands rather than his. If cancer is normal, then it would be normal for everybody to have cancer. But since it is not normal and since it thrives in situations that are not normal, then doesn’t it make sense to seek the things that are normal so that the cancer just disappears? A physician or oncologist who ignores the pH of your blood and does not know how to make it normal once again, is not qualified to be treating you in any way whatsoever. Avoid such physicians for the idiots that they are.

And whoops, oh dear! I am afraid that tooth decay is also cured with this simple remedy because baking soda kills decay-causing germs on contact. Will the purveyors of toothbrushes and pastes and drilling and filling and billing be pleased? No, those greedy betrayers and swindlers will not be pleased at all. They want you to be sick. But the sweet, happy smile of good health is the natural state of Mankind.

Healing/Other Alternatives

Introduction to mind/body medicine:

MIND/BODY MEDICINE ATTEMPTS TO HELP PEOPLE achieve an improvement in understanding so that they may be able to influence and control their physical reactions. Mind/body medicine explores the dynamic connections that link the body and the mind. The exploration of each individual's unique circuitry evidences the mind/body connection while providing improved mental and physical health. Western science has long viewed the mind and the body separately. There is however, a new resurgence in acknowledging the mind's powerful role in healing. A mind which can create and influence illness can also influence its progression and/or change the course entirely. The common goal of mind/body medicine practitiioners is to teach people how to influence the physical reactions of their bodies.

Throughout history we have learned that man would not have survived as a viable species if we did not have a built-in mechanism known as the flight/fright response. When we encounter danger the body reacts. The body releases chemicals which result in increased heart rate, elevation of blood pressure and muscle tension. This is the body's reaction to stressful situations and it is easy rationalize that chronic stress would do damge to the body. Chronic stress suppresses immune system activity and encourages disease. The antidote to stress overload is relaxation but sadly personal relaxation is a valuable commodity for most of us. Mind/body medicine intends that the patient strengthen the body through relaxation while providing us with techniques that have been individualized according to results of the patient's personal responses in various series of tests conducted by a body/mind practitioner.

Studies have proven that thoughts do actually influence the course of one's health. Interestingly, medical science believes that thoughts do not lend themselves readily to scientific testing methods. Therefore, medical science has not accepted mind/body medicine.

Mind/body therapy recognizes the influence that the mind can have on disease. Illness is regarded as a communication from the body. This is a warning that something needs attention. A heart attack may be a signal for that person to become less hostile and devote more time to the enjoyment of life. In mind/body medicine illness is perceived as a message and not the enemy. Mind/body medicine gives us back our power. It encourages us to lose the victim consciousness by granting permission to play a role in our personal healing. In other words, positive thinking and positive responses can translate into better health and vitality. Louise Hay, perhaps one of the nation's most well known proponents of metaphyscial healing has long taught about the complementary effects of mind/body medicine most notably on AIDS patients. She explains that what a patient believes to be true about an illness, coupled with what they think their Doctor believes, alters the course of the disease. The idea that any medicine can bring relief to a patient has been proven to inspire improvement in the patient. This is also referred to as the "placebo effect"which exemplifies the curative power of the mind assisitng in the healing of the body.

What types of Mind/body medicine are available?

This two-part series will present a brief overview of the types of therapies which are categorized as mind/body medicine. We will address seven (7) of the most popular techniques.

1. Meditation:

There are many ways to meditate. However, this article will introduce the most widely employed categories of meditation, namely, concentrative meditation and mindfulness meditation. In a world that has become exceedingly complicated many people suffer from the effects of stress, anxiety and stress-related illnesses. Surprisingly, many people state that they are unable to meditate because they have so many thoughts being filtered through their minds.

The aim of concentrative meditation is to encourage the focus of attention upon the breath, a sound, or an image. Devotees of concentrative meditation state that this fixed focal point of concentration allows for greater awareness to emerge from the peaceful and relaxed state of concentration. For example, a basic principal of yoga and meditation is the connection between the breath and the one's state of mind. If the choice of concentration was fixed onto breathing then the mind would notice the continuous rhythm of the breath, the levels of inhalation and exhalation. As the breathing becomes slower and deeper the mind becomes quieted and more aware.

Mindfulness meditation focuses the mind upon the continual stream of thoughts, feelings and sensations that bombard the mind on a regular basis. The basic idea is to encourage the meditator to step back away the thoughts and to notice them without becoming involved or reacting to them. The goal is to allow these thoughts, feelings, and sensations to continue while becoming non-reactive to them, maintaining the position of a casual observer to the theatre of the mind.

A regularly practiced routine of meditation can decrease stress and psychological overload. Regular meditation promotes increased peace, relaxation, self awareness and inner calm.

2. Naturopathic Medicine:

Naturopathic medicine is a whole body system of health care based on vis medicatrix naturae- the healing power of nature to evoke a healing response within the body.

In 1902, Benedict Lust founded the American School of Naturopathy in New York State. At that time in America many new therapies and techniques were being experimented with. People flocked to spas and enjoyed hydrotherapy, mineral springs and spas, colonic irrigation and spinal manipulation. Dr. Lust's interest in promoting natural remedies to assist the body developed into a standard of practice which encouraged the utilization and promotion of most of the alternative therapies and theories to be facilitated by a physician licensed and trained in these disciplines.

A naturopathic doctor, or ND, is concerned with the physical, emotional and spiritual health of the patient. There are seven basic principals of naturopathic healing: (1) Help nature heal. (2) Do no harm. (3) Find the underlying cause. (4) Treat the whole person. (5) Encourage prevention. (6) Recognize wellness. (7) Act as a teacher.

Alternative therapies and such as herbal formulations, botanical remedies, and homeopathy are utilized as well as portions of Chinese medicine. Naturopathic medicine is a well-rounded program which takes lifestyle into consideration. The naturopathic physician can advise treatment programs which encompass changes in nutrition, vitamin and mineral therapies, accupuncture, accupressure, or spiritual counseling as well as implementation of changes for dietary concerns and exercise programs.

The emphasis of naturopathy is on wellness. The naturpathic physician can employ many areas of natural healing within the framework of a pre-determined personalized program for individual needs. For further information about naturopathic healing it is suggested that you contact theAmerican Association of Naturopathic Physicians 2366 Eastlake Avenue East, Suite 322, Seattle, WA 98102. The telephone number is (206) 323-7610. A comprehensive listing of licensed naturopathic physicians can be obtained by the association.

3. Yoga:

Do you have a desire to spend time with yourself to achieve balance, peace and concentration? Are you seeking clarity and insight in your daily life? Perhaps you should consider taking a Yoga class. Yoga is known as "the poetry of the body." This ancient system of philosophy and practice can promote emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. The benefits of Yoga can assist you in your own process of self-discovery and awareness. The benefits of stretching coupled with enhanced breathing techniques teach you to relax your mind and keep your body supple. The principals of Yoga extend to mind/body medicine as an accepted mind/body technique because it incorporates meditation with a series of poses called "asanas," coupled with breathing exercises known as "pranayama." The greatest advantage of Yoga is that it teaches us to relax physically. The aim of Yoga is to achieve a sense of balance and harmony between the body and the mind.

There are six major branches of yoga. They are: Hatha Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Tantra Yoga and Raja Yoga. All of these systems of yoga are based on similar principals but place different emphasis on postures, breathing techniques and meditation. These differences comprise the many variations in Yoga styles.

Yoga therapy is relatively new and yet it has been used successfully in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. Most notable are the amazing benefits to the elderly who practice a regular routine of daily Yoga. Yoga's natural ability to strengthen the muscoloskeletal system with its variety of postures have improved the condition of the elderly who suffer with backache, rheumatism and arthritis It is also suggested that a regular routine of Yoga can normalize high blood pressure, which helps to banish anxiety.

4. Color Therapy:

Have you ever been "green" with envy? Do you ever feel "blue?" Have you ever been "red" with anger? Then perhaps you might wonder about how phrase associations to color have become infused into our awareness. Color therapists feel that on both a physical level and psychic level, colors can be used to rebalance the body. The therory is that as light is absorbed through the skin, it works on the nervous system to change the chemical balance of the body. as well as create an effect upon your environment. Certain colors are believed to effect moods and behavior. It is thought we all have a certain sensitivity to colors. It also theorized that certain colors can be used to assit the body in healing by wearing certain colors and by calling certain colors of light upon yourself in meditations. These colored light rays as visualized can be sent to different parts of your body as healing light.

This is a brief overview of the colors and their alleged effects upon the body. Whether you are physically wearing these colors as clothing or mediatating upon these colors for healing purposes, color therapy practitioners believe that various balances and/or effects occur mainly because of the vibrational qualities of the specific color.

At the end of the spectrum is Red considered to be the most dominant color. Red is thought to destry bacteria and raise body temperature. Red is also thought to create warmth, hence aiding circulation and raising body temperature. Orange is the symbol of the feminine aspect containing the energy of creation. Orange is believed to combat depression and transmute negative into positive. It is also believed that the color orange can effect mental, emotional and physical properties. Yellow repairs and heals, particularly beneficial for skin problems. Yellow is believed to improve judgment and stimulates mental processing abilities. Green is a cool neutral color. It helps balance and restore clarity of focus. Green is useful for conditions which surface from stress and tension, such as migraine headaches. Blue strengthens the immune defense system as it calms the body and calms irritations and inflammations. Many healers claim that blue is the most beneficial color of all for those with pain. Indigo is the soothing color that plays upon the mental and emotional bodies. Indigo restores free-flow and movement making it particulalry helpful for cysts and tinnitus. Violet is the color of spiritual energy. Notice the color of vestments worn by Priests during high holy days. Violet strengthens spritual awareness and heightens insight.

Do the colors that we wear affect us? Do certain colors trigger unpleasant memories? Does color evoke responses and feelings that effect us in our daily lives? Color therapy is not a new field. because research holds that its roots are steeped in ancient tradition and ceremony. Color therapy draws on the way colors affect our moods and behaviors and surroundings. It tunes us into our individual likes and dislikes since the colors we choose can be an indication of the state of ourselves within our world. Experiment with colors. Perhaps you will notice your own individual response to the vibrational fields of various colors with a more heightened sense of awareness of how color effects you everyday.

5. Biofeedback:

ARE YOU SUFFERING FROM DEPRESSION? Are you experiencing a lot of stress? Do you suffer from PMS? Do you become extremely nervous in social situations? Are you anxious? Do you suffer from panic attacks? Have migraine headaches become part of your life? Biofeedback might be the answer to help you to learn methods to treat these difficulties by using the power of your mind.

The principles of biofeedback date back to more than half a century when psychophysiological research began to examine the relationship between emotional states and physiological states. Biofeedback can be visual, auditory or tactile, but most importantly it is a training technique that teaches people to improve their health and performance by using signals from their own body. Biofeedback is biological information which is returned to the source that created it so that the source will be able to have control over the information received. Biofeedback employs electric and electromechanical instruments that receive electrical signals and impulses from the muscle and the brain. These signals are interpreted by a computer and are "fed back" to a patient. The patient receives information about their neuromuscular and autonomic activity showing normal and abnormal values. With information gained about their behavioral responses a patient is able to learn to exercise conscious control over what were presumed to be unconscious bodily processes. Studies conducted with animals have shown that physiological variables that were originally thought to be involuntary can be controlled. Feedback is a form of reward or punishment that provides motivation for the desired behavior.

Biofeedback utilizes electric and electromechanical instruments. The main approaches to biofeedback include skin temperature methods and skin electrical activity methods that measure the amount of electricity conducted between two electrodes on the skin. Another method, called the muscle electrical activity, method measures the electrical activity of muscles under the surface of the skin. This method is used to measure the tension of these muscles. When muscles become tense the electrical signals from the muscles are translated into a form that can be detected. Various machines used in biofeedback can detect a person's internal body functions with great sensitivity.

Biofeedback has gone mainstream. Many insurance companies reimburse patients for biofeedback training. The Dallas Cowboys of the NFL use it for stress management and to maintain peak performance. Biofeedback studies conducted on children with sleep difficulties show a 90 percent rate of effectiveness. Biofeedback has been found to be helpful for victims of neuromuscular disorders and spinal cord injuries. Sufferers of panic and anxiety disorders have learned the ability to control these states so that they can function on a daily basis. Being taught biofeedback as a primary treatment has assisted persons with urinary incontinence. The American Association of Headaches and the American Medical Association consider biofeedback an acceptable treatment method for certain types of headaches. Biofeedback has been used for the treatment of ADD and ADHD, Raynaud's disease and TMJ.

6. Guided Imagery:

Since mind/body medicine encourages the mind to heal the body it is logical that guided imagery would be part of this effective self-care. Guided imagery has three main characteristics that have profound effects on human physiology. It provides a new perspective and new insights into personal health and it is connected with emotions, which are often associated with common health conditions.

The imagination evidences itself in our everyday framework, oftentimes without our conscious awareness. Can the mere thought of a particular occurrence conjure up sensations that are evidenced by a physical response within the body? Take the example of the idea of fingernails scratching against a blackboard. Does this make you cringe? How about being told a very scary story? Do you get goosebumps on your arms? Can you become physically aroused by a sexual fantasy? When you are anxious about something can you feel the "butterflies" in your stomach? If you have experienced even one of these effects of the imagination on the body then you may be an excellent candidate for guided imagery.

What we refer to as imagery is really the free flow of thoughts that involve the basic sensory perceptions of hearing, sight, smell, taste and touch in one's imagination. Imagery manifests itself using the six senses. It is a natural process that evidences the dialog between the mind and the body. Focused imagery in a relaxed state of mind can elicit a physiological response. Let's give it a try. After you have read this paragraph, take a deep breath and r-e-l-a-x. I would like you to imagine in your mind's eye a round, red, shiny apple. Pick up this apple and notice its weight as you hold it in the palm of your hand. Now, put the apple on a plate and cut it in half. Notice the juicy burst of white inside the apple. Now bring the apple slice to your mouth and as you do this you notice its fragrance. Imagine biting into this apple and feeling the explosion of sweet juices in your mouth. Did this imagery evoke a response? Did you salivate? Were you able to picture the shiny, red apple? Did you imagine its taste? If you answered yes, then you have proven to yourself the effectiveness of guided imagery and what is more, you have probably just found a form of self-healing tool that can become very valuable to you.

As in biofeedback, imagery effects heart rate, blood pressure, sexual arousal and immune system healing function among other body functions. Guided imagery is a program that can be maintained with self-care and is an excellent adjunct treatment for those with chronic diseases. Imagery offers significant benefits within a few months of treatment. Guided imagery is probably most notable in assisting a patient to developing insight and self-awareness sufficient to deal with life threatening illness in constructive ways. Through imagery a patient can access emotions that affect physiology and are evidenced by many physical ailments. Imagery is a quick and direct way of becoming aware of emotions. It is a way of treating a whole person rather than their symptoms or disease. Guided imagery can accelerate healing and minimize discomfort. It is useful for patients suffering with cancer, back pain, gastrointestinal distresses and excessive uterine bleeding. It is thought that guided imagery can assist immune system function.

In 1971 Dr. O. Carl Simonton, M.D., a radiation oncologist, utilized guided imagery as a tool in cancer therapy. Dr. Simonton asked his patients to imagine their cancer cells as something that could be broken down by the body. He suggested that each patient view their white cells as powerful and eager warriors ready to do battle with the cancer cells. One of Dr. Simonton's patients had been diagnosed with terminal throat cancer at the age of 61. Dr. Simonton was concerned that radiation treatments would further deteriorate this man's fragile state.

Dr. Simonton instructed his patient to devote 5-15 minutes three times a day for a program of relaxation and imagery. The patient's imagery exercise was to imagine the radiation treatments as "bullets of energy" striking his cells, healthy and cancerous alike, with the healthy cells remaining healthy and the cancer cells dying off. The patient was instructed to visualize the cancer cells breaking apart and his state of health returning to normal. Dr. Simonton's program resulted in the man receiving radiation treatments with minimal discomfort. Halfway through this treatment the man began to eat solid foods again. Within two months, the man's cancer disappeared.

There are many groups and classes that teach Guided Imagery. I have listed a few because of their fine reputation. These organizations also direct you to practitioners in your state. Perhaps the best known is the Academy for Guided Imagery, located at P.O. Box 2070, Mill Valley California 94942. Telephone number is 1-(800)-726-2070. The Academy for Guided Imagery trains health professionals to use interactive guided imagery. The academy publishes a directory of practitioners as well instructional self-care tapes, which individuals can use. Dr. Bernie Siegel has a referral list of professionals who work with imagery for cancer patients. The organization is Exceptional Cancer Patients, 1302 Chapel Street, New Haven, Conn. 06511. 1-(203) 865-8392. Dr. O. Carl Simonton, mentioned in this article, also has an organization of trained professionals utilizing his methods. You can write to the Simonton Cancer Center, P.O. Box 890, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272. His telephone number is 1- (310) 459-4434.

7. Hypnotherapy:

No article about hypnotherapy would be complete without reference to the man considered to be the "father of hypnosis," Dr. Franz Anton Mesmer (1733-1815). Mesmer was an Austrian physician who created a method of hypnotism, which he referred to as "animal magnetism." In 1784, Mesmer's claims about animal magnetism were discredited. Although critics of Mesmer's day were harsh, studies concerning what is now referred to as hypnotherapy have withheld the scrutiny of his opponents for over than 200 years. (See more complete references to Mesmer's scientific studies in previous issue of PLANETLightworker in the Health and Healing section's article entitled Magnetic Healing.) Mesmer's research about the altered state have contributed the term 'animal magnetism" as well as the word "mesmerize" which relates to one being enthralled, entranced or hypnotized. For the purposes of this article, the remark of a pupil of Mesmer's, Charles d'Eslon, best conveys the ideas upon which we will expand as relates to mind/body medicine. d'Eslon said . . . "If the medicine of imagination is the best then why should we not practice the medicine of the imagination?" Does this quote sound familiar? Throughout this journey into mind/body medicine we have referenced the incredible power that we human beings have as our inherent birthright - the power of the imagination as it relates to the power of the mind to heal the body.

Hundreds of years ago, physicians would induce a patient into an altered state through the use of hypnotherapy to demonstrate the power of the mind. It was not uncommon for the physician to perform operations upon the patient without anesthesia while the patient remained in the altered state induced by hypnosis. The power of hypnosis is great. Modern-day physicians such as Dr. Andrew Weil have endorsed hypnosis for his patients. Patients are advised that only the services of a licensed hypnotherapist should be employed.

Hypnosis allows for exploration into the deepest levels of an individual's mind to effect positive changes. The hypnotherapist is a facilitator while it is the patient who enters into hypnotic states by following the suggestions of the hypnotherapist. The hypnotic state is attained through relaxation techniques. The patient's attention is shifted from their external environment to ideas suggested by the hypnotherapist.

The superficial hypnotic state is when the patient accepts suggestions but does not usually carry them out. Patients who are able to enter into the deepest state of hypnotherapy also called the somnambulistic state of hypnotherapy, are those who benefit the most. It is in this state that the post-hypnotic suggestions of the hypnotherapist are most successful. Post-hypnotic suggestions are those that take effect after the patient awakens from the trance. The unconscious mind is not critical. It accepts what is said without criticism and therefore post hypnotic suggestions have a better chance of being effective then they would if given during a normal waking state.

The World Health Organization (WHO) states that 90% of the general population can be hypnotized with 20-30% having enough susceptibility to enter the somnambulistic state which makes them highly receptive to treatment. The WHO does caution that persons with anti-social personality disorders and psychosis should not explore hypnosis. Hypnosis is extremely powerful and must not be abused.

More information about hypnosis can be found at The American Institute of Hyypnotherapy, 1805 East Garry Avenue, Santa Ana, California 92705 (714) 261-6400. This is the only institute in the United States that grants doctorate degrees in hypnosis after a term of study. They can provide books and tapes and referrals to licensed practitioners in your area.

Iridology 1-0-1

By Lisa Seelandt

We are all familiar with the reference to the eyes as the windows of the soul. What if this saying was not far-fetched and there was a basis in fact to the saying? What if it was absolutely true that the eyes revealed our spiritual constitution and our physical condition?

The human eyes are fascinating examples of advanced technological equipment bestowed upon human beings by their Creator. The eyes as a system cannot be duplicated. The camera-like eyes of the human body contain a lens and a filter enabling a human being to experience visual sensation. In the study of iridology we confine ourselves to the area of the eye called the iris. The iris can reveal abnormal conditions in the human body through examination of changes within its own structure and color variations. Each organ, gland, system and tissue can be represented in a specific area in the left iris or the right iris or both.

The organs and tissues on the left half of the body are represented in the left iris. The organs and tissues on the right half of the body are represented in the right iris. It is commonly thought that the organs lying at the centermost line of the body, known as the mid-sagittal plane, appear in both irises, as well as bilateral organs.

For those who need a brief refresher on the function of the iris we include this paragraph. The iris is the optical structure that adds color to the eye. The pupil is the seeming black hole in the iris. The contraction of the iris makes a pupil appear small while relaxing the iris makes the pupil appear large.

Iridologists compare the eye to the face of a clock. Each area is representative of a section of the body that is subdivided into 15- minute increments. Those unfamiliar with the iris map, also known as the eye map, can liken it to the reflexology chart, which indicates sections of the body and the corresponding zones and areas to be benefited and healed. Most health food stores and New Age bookstores can direct you if you wish to obtain an iris map. There are also excellent books and writings on the subject of Iridology. The Eastern disciples of Iridology largely author this information. As with most of the alternative medical approaches the Western world is newly discovering these techniques, and we applaud and encourage future research into these modalities.

Anyone can become more consciously aware of their eyes, and the corresponding health of various sections of the body, with the aid of a simple mirror. When you examine your own iridae you may be surprised to learn that the iris is not a solid color as most of us assume. The iris contains a number of colors with variations of light and dark lines. White variations within the iris indicate an over-burdened system that is attempting to balance itself. When the body is attempting to regain control of an over-taxed system its degree of malfunction can be evidenced within the iris. The degree of the variation in color marks the degree of malfunction. The progression of iris changes indicates deterioration of body tissue. This shows as whiteness in the iris, and then gradual darkness, which can be reflected in three stages - sub-acute, chronic, and degenerative.

Likewise, there are also areas known as healing lines, which emerge when the body has successfully purged itself of degenerative pathology and is in a restorative healing pattern. When an area becomes white-yellow it indicates an advancement of the system malfunction. Brown-red indicates deterioration of an area that is unable to restore itself. The progression of the area to black indicates dying tissue.

There are hills and valleys and peaks in the texture of the iris. A veritable topography is displayed on the surface of the iris. These variations are known as the structures of the iris. The structures range in appearance from tightly woven material to a loose gauze net. The differences in materials are used to illustrate susceptibility to disease. For example, a diagnosis that explains the structures as a silk material indicates low susceptibility to disease, while a structural diagnosis of gauze indicates high susceptibility to disease. This is the way that iridologists compare eye health, by utilizing analysis that denotes the structure and texture of the eye's integrity.

Now how great is this? Iridologists can recognize toxins and their locations within the body. Iridologists can determine the stage of the inflammation that is present. The weakness or strength of the structure under examination can be explained by gauging the structure and constitution of the eye areas and the general health level of the individual. Although the Iridologist cannot determine exact diseases from the appearance of the iris, they can and do identify the locations and the affected organs. The Iridologist then assists in advising an individual's particular restorative pathway to health, while effectuating a cure prior to the onset of systemic collapse within the body. Iridology can indicate the differences between a healing crisis and a disease crisis and ultimate reversal of disease. Iridology as a science stresses prevention. Iridology as a vibration-healing tool can assist us on our journey toward attaining and sustaining health while vibrating higher. Get thee to an Iridologist and learn what your eyes reveal.

Additional Facts and Interesting Information about Iridology:

  • Brown-eyed persons trace their lineage to more southern climates.
  • Blue-eyed people generally have ancestry that can be traced within more northern climates.
  • Blue-eyed people experience more lymphatic difficulties, and suffer from over acidity more than brown-eyed persons.
  • Brown-eyed persons experience more glandular problems and blood disorders then their blue-eyed counterparts.
  • Drugs and toxic settlements within the body can appear to change the color of the eyes.
  • Signs of drug usage that appear in the iris indicate the amount of drugs that the body has failed to eliminate, and not the quantities of drugs being used.
  • Aluminum toxicity can evidence itself within the iris as blue gray spots located in the area represented on the eye map as the circulatory area
  • Dark muddy spots, known as psoric spots, can be found anywhere in the iris. These spots actually seem to float over the eye and produce inefficiency in the area in which they appear. They can also indicate parasites or malignancy.
  • Brown pigment in the iris indicates problems of the liver/pancreas.
  • Brown/red pigments indicate pancreatic difficulties.
  • Yellow/pink discolorations indicate kidney overload.
  • Black spots in isolation are indicative of cancer of the corresponding zone.
  • A dull brown-pigmented film represents candida albicans overgrowth from the pupil over the iris.

(NaturalNews) Everyone needs to cleanse their lymph system of all the wastes that have built up over a lifetime. Cleansing the lymph helps the body to cleanse every organ and system you have. The waste from each cell must be removed or the body will die in its own waste.

The lymph system transports lymphatic fluids but it also works as a filter, removing bacteria, microorganisms, dead cells, and other unwanted substances. In today’s world, our bodies are inundated with an abundance of unwelcome matter and toxins that can block the lymph nodes, decreasing the body's ability to resist disease.

Over time, waste builds up inside the body and starts to clog organs, veins, and lymph which in turn can cause not only cancer but many illnesses such as swollen lymph nodes, skin problems, high cholesterol, sinus congestion, fatigue, and headaches due to a weakened immune system.

When toxic waste builds up in the lymphatic system it impedes the entire body's function. Because the lymph system is the foundation of the immune system, it is vital that its function not be congested by useless wastes that can be naturally flushed out with simple herbs and supplements.

At the end of this article is an herbal recipe for Lymph Clear. The herbs in the formula support one another, and support a solution to clearing the body of environmental causes which have been found in all cancers, but especially Breast Cancer, Lymphatic Cancer and Lymphoma. I have used it as an alternative treatment for many cancers and I have had Naturopaths order this tonic from me to treat their patients for everything from cancers to lymphoedema.

In addition to using Lymph Clear, it is important to change lifestyle, diet and add additional supplements which I recommended here:

Overall Cancer Prevention tips along with additional suggestions for Breast Cancer:

1. Use broccoli and broccoli sprouts. Research has shown broccoli is the best vegetable you can
consume for breast cancer prevention.

2. Omit foods that contain or are grown with hormones like dairy and meats.

3. Supplement with the herb Black Cohosh for breast cancer prevention. This herb has been used for years by herbalists for treating menopause. A new laboratory study now backs its usage and suggests that extracts from Black Cohosh, an herb most commonly used to reduce menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, may stop breast cancer cells in their tracks. This adds more evidence to a small but growing body of research suggesting that Black Cohosh could have a use in breast cancer prevention.

4. For breast cancer, supplement with DIM (Diindolylmethane), which is intended to reduce your undesirable “BAD” estrogen metabolites.

5. Drink green tea. It has an anti-tumor effect on breast cancer cells. A study by Dr. Maheshwari that was published earlier this year in Cancer Letters showed that green tea is effective in delaying tumor incidence as well as in reducing the tumor burden. Green tea was found to inhibit growth of tumors as well as induce death of breast cancer cells. Epidemiological studies also suggest that the risk of breast cancer is found to be less in Asian countries consuming green tea. These studies have greater clinical significance since the ability of these phytochemicals to activate anti-cancer program of tumor cells might determine the success of chemotherapy.

6. Reduce your processed food, sugar and grain carbohydrate intake.

7. Check for food allergies. Ex: Blueberries are an excellent antioxidant but if you are allergic to them they will do more harm than good. Anyone who is suffering from critical or chronic illness should have a combined IgE and IgG4 allergy test taken. IgE shows what foods cause an instant allergic reaction where IgG4 shows delayed allergy that may take up to 4 days for an allergic reaction. The IgG4 allergies are what I term â€hidden allergies’.

8. Reduce your exposure to environmental toxins like fertilizers, pesticides, household chemical cleaners, synthetic air fresheners, scented candles, car exhaust, and air pollution. Use Cilantro tincture to remove heavy metals from your body. Or, eat fresh cilantro in salads.

9. Instead of frying your foods bake, boil, or steam them.

10. Normalize your ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fats by taking a high-quality fish oil and reducing your intake of most processed vegetable oils

11. Supplement with vitamin D. Cod liver oil will provide vitamin D, vitamin A and omega-3.

12. Get regular exercise; even if it's just going for a daily walk. One of the primary reasons exercise works is that it drives your insulin levels down.

13. Get a good night's sleep. Research shows when the immune system is compromised, it takes 9 hours of sleep in the dark to restore your immune system.

14. Limit your exposure to radio waves produced by cell phone towers, base stations, phones, computers and WiFi stations.

15. Cultivate a spiritual life. This can be done with brief meditations, introspections, appreciating nature, taking up a hobby, listening to music, readings. In essence, make room in your day for yourself and something you love.

What cooking tools and other ingredients you will need:

2 stainless steel or glass 20 quart pots with lids.
A large strainer.
A candy or water thermometer.
Cheesecloth.
4 gallons of distilled water
16 oz of vegetable glycerin
8 to 12 oz of Black Strap Molasses
60 oz of honey
4 Tablespoons Citric acid

For bottling you can use regular canning jars. If using pint jars you will need about 22 jars. If using quart jars you will need about 11-12 to 8 jars. You can cut recipe in ½ for a smaller batch.

Add to Pot 1

1 oz Bloodroot
2 oz Burdock
2 oz Chaparral
1.5 oz Dandelion Root
1.5 oz Echinacea Root
2 oz Poke
2 oz Red Root
1.5 oz Sarsaparilla
2.5 oz Yellow Dock
Add 2 gallons of distilled water

Cover with lid and set on stove on warm heat overnight so that the roots can be softened for extraction.

In the morning turn up the heat and bring the water to a low simmer for about 4 hours then bring to a boil for 15-30 minutes. After boiling turn off heat and strain the liquid into a clean container by laying a layer of cheesecloth over your strainer.

Add to Pot 2

1 oz Black Walnut
1 oz Chelidonium aka Celandine
1 oz Cleavers
2 oz Lemon Peel
1.5 Plantain
1.5 Red Clover
Add 2 gallons of distilled water

Cover and set on counter and let soak in water over night.

In the morning place the pot on the stove on warm/medium heat to steep (not boil) the herbs like you would a cup of tea. Let them steep for at least 4 hours then strain the liquid by laying a layer of cheesecloth over your strainer.

Compost the strained herbs in your garden.

Mixing the pots:

Once the liquid is strained from both pots, mix it together in one of the 20 quart pots and let it simmer for about 15 minutes

Then add:

16 oz of vegetable glycerin
8 to 12 oz of Black Strap Molasses
60 oz of honey
4 Tablespoons Citric acid

Stir and let the mixture mingle for 15 minutes or so. When ready to bottle use a candy thermometer to check the temperature of the liquid. You want the temperature at 190* to prevent any bacteria to grow in the tonics. Maintain this heat temperature throughout bottling.

While waiting for your liquid to reach the accurate bottling temperature prepare your canning jars. Sterilize jars and lids.

Once your bottles are sterilized and your herbal liquid is at the right temperature add the tonic liquid to the hot jars. Fill to ½” from top of jar and cap. Let cool overnight. Check to make sure all the jars are sealed properly then store them. Tonics can be stored for 1 year.

Once you open a jar of tonic for use you must Refrigerate it. The tonic will last for 2 months in the refrigerator once it has been opened. Sediment in the bottom of the jars is normal. Give the jar a little shake or stir to mix the sediment before taking.

DO NOT TAKE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT

Adult Folklore Dosage: 1 Tablespoon 1 times a day for prevention. 1 Tablespoon 2 times a day for lymphoedema. 2 Tablespoon 2 times a day when breast and lymph is congested or cancerous. Refrigerate after opening.

Magnetic Healing

By Lisa Seelandt

Introduction

Magnets were recognized for their strange healing properties thousands of years BC. We humans of present time-space-reality labor under a misconception that new age healing methods, practices and modalities are new to the world. The fact is that many ancient healing methods were forgotten or abandoned and centuries later were thought to be outmoded by conventional proponents of idealized Western medicine. It is ironic that the combination of ancient wisdom and new age tools are available to us now just when we thought ourselves to be more advanced.

Magnetic therapy is not new. The inference is that magnetics is an understanding of the interrelationship between electromagnetic energy and the human body. Magnetic therapy uses this relationship to encourage the body to heal itself. It is estimated that 30 million people worldwide use magnets to eliminate pain and discomfort.

Magnetic therapy was used in ancient Greece during the time of Aristotle. The ancient records of the Greek physician Galen, dating back to 200 BC, found that pain was removed by application of natural magnets. In the 16th century Paracelsus used magnets to treat epilepsy, diarrhea, and hemorrhage. Magnetic therapy has a long history within the cultures of China, India, and Egypt. Chinese writings from 2000 BC reference the use of magnets with acupuncture. Tibetan writings refer to magnets as lodestones. Cleopatra wore a magnetic "lodestone" within her crown. The lodestone was thought to prevent aging.

Two thousand years ago the ancient Egyptians documented effects on the health of human beings based upon variations in the earth's magnetic fields. The ancient texts are replete with numerous references to magnets and their unique properties. The texts mention various healings with placement of magnetic arrays along meridian points of the body. The ancients came to understand that the magnets produced an effect on the body that provided energy regeneration and physical enhancement.

Lee Carroll's 1997 book, Partnering with God (Practical Information for the New Millennium), contains the wisdom of the "Magnetic Master", Kryon, who revealed more heretofore-unspoken information about the nature of human biology. This information encouraged integration of self-healing methods based on the body's innate ability to balance itself. Kryon cited magnetics, hands-on healing and live essences as a "...temporary method of balance for individuals." Kryon declares that "...magnetic healing is honored. It is wonderful. It addresses the magnetic human being. It addresses the magnetics of the DNA and is valid. It is being used with a greater impact now than at any time on the planet." Far be it from me to dispute the efficacy of magnetics with the "Magnetic Master."

This month's vibrational healing section will focus on current research culled from proponents of the billion-dollar magnetic therapy industry.*

In 1958, Dr. Kioshi Nakagawa from the University of Tokyo conducted magnetic therapy research in his treatment of bone disorders with magnets. He reasoned that the external stimulation of magnetic fields would assist the body in higher vibrational healing operations. The stimulation effect of magnets has been recognized to extend to increased functioning of glands, metabolism and increased cellular oxidation, which in turn enhances the immune system and promotes faster rates of healing. Dr. Nakagawa further discovered that magnetic therapy alters existing ionic patterns creating blood vessel dilation and an increase in blood flow which assisted in healing broken bones in half the expected healing time!

Doctors have discovered that when magnets are applied to arthritic joints, calcium ions are disbursed. The dispersion of the calcium ions eliminates pain. The dilation of blood vessels assists in the removal of toxins that contribute to inflammation. When a magnet is applied to the body its resulting magnetic waves pass through the tissues. This increases the blood flow and aids natural healing processes. Blood and lymph circulations are activated, allowing nutrients to be distributed more efficiently. Magnetic waves penetrate through the skin, tissues, and bones to invigorate the organs. The magnets stimulate the various systems of the body and can revive the growth of tissues. Damaged tissue was found to emit a positive electrical charge. To restore the bioenergetic balance and accelerate the healing process a therapeutic magnet of receptive polarity could be added to the area of the injury. The magnetic field causes the blood vessels to dilate, resulting in an increase of circulation into the injured area.

Magnetic therapy bases its therapeutic effect on the idea that the body's cells have electromagnetic fields that are out of alignment, resulting in a disease and ill health. The application of magnets to a particular area of the body is believed to realign the body's electromagnetic fields. As the natural magnetic fields of the earth decline living things are more prone to disease and illness. In magnetic therapy the inference is that there is a transfer of energy from the therapeutic magnet to the body.

Advancements in medicine in the last century have proven that magnets and electrical devices that generate magnetic fields can effectively diagnose illness and disease. Magnetic resonance Imaging (MRI) is an example of this. MRIs have replaced standard x-rays based on accuracy in diagnosis. The electrical activity of the brain used to be recorded exclusively by the electroencephalograph. However, the effectiveness of magnetoencephalography has demonstrated its superiority and it is now the preferred technique.

Many researchers have learned that certain magnetic fields are beneficial and can have a profound effect on living organisms. In 1997, The Baylor College of Medicine and the Institute for Rehabilitation and Research in Houston, Texas, conducted a study of magnetic therapy on polio patients experiencing post-polio syndrome and the resultant arthritic pain in joints and muscles. The majority of participants in this study were persons in their 50s who had begun to experience post-polio syndrome in their 40s. In this study patients were given an active or an inactive magnet, which was placed on the site of pain. After the magnets were removed gradual intensity of their pain returned. The results of this study showed that 76% of the patients who had used low intensity magnets of less than half an inch thick reported a decrease in pain. Only 19 percent of patients treated with the placebo (inactive magnet) felt any improvement.

The debate as to whether electro-magnetic interference from home appliances and power lines are counter-productive to human biological functioning continues. Numerous disputes and opposing information have been offered by each side to substantiate their own individual theories. Conversely, there is new evidence to suggest that people who spend large amounts of time indoors reduce their exposure to the natural geomagnetic earth fields. This condition has been called magnetic field deficiency syndrome and its symptoms can be likened to those of chronic fatigue syndrome. Applications of magnets countered the effects of magnetic field deficiency, as evidenced by a decrease in the symptoms of fatigue, headaches, muscle and joint pains, malaise, sleeplessness and disrupted thought patterns.

The magnet therapy industry is a billion plus dollar a year industry. It has become fashionable to wear magnetic jewelry and it is commonplace to see athletes wearing magnets for sore muscles and sports injuries. There are magnetic applications for individual treatments to combat a wide range of symptoms ranging from insomnia to jet lag. Magnets have been found to increase melatonin levels and prevent insomnia, and international travelers proclaim that therapeutic magnets help overcome jet lag. Advocates of magnet therapy claim remarkable decrease in pain for many common ailments such as toothaches, shoulder and joint pain, asthma, injuries, swelling and wounds. It is alleged that magnetic therapy is helpful for chronic pain sufferers and for those with diseases and disorders such as high blood pressure, carpal tunnel syndrome, circulation problems, liver health, mental impairment, respiratory distress, and fungal infections.

There is a vast array of magnets for sale, ranging from small, simple magnets to large generating magnetic machines. There are individual magnets for fingers and joints, clear cloth wraps with high-powered magnetic discs, magnetic bedding and beds to promote restful sleep and promote advanced healing. By wearing a magnet you are generating a low-level magnetic field. It is believed that this assists in balancing subtle metaphysical and biophysical energies. The Chinese claim that magnetic therapy can help to prevent hair loss and promote thicker, fuller hair. This is why many magnetic hairbrushes are available for purchase.

Is it coincidence that NASA routinely places magnets in the astronaut's space suits and space vehicles? The lack of a planetary field in outer space prompted this decision. In the absence of a magnetic field biological functioning can become impaired. Health problems that the astronauts could encounter would be remedied. Russian cosmonauts became ill during the early space missions. These illnesses were later rectified with the addition of supplemental magnetic fields for extra support in their spacesuits and additional magnetic applications to their bodies.

Magnets can be placed on acupuncture points for stimulation. The magnetic fields penetrate the body, acting as a catalyst for improved functioning of the nervous system, organs and cells. Magnetic fields stimulate metabolism. The transfer of energy from the therapeutic magnet to the body provides additional energy.

In magnetic therapy, the North pole of a magnet is referred to as the negative polarity. The South pole of a magnet is referred to as the positive polarity. The negative polarity is also referred to as receptive, while the positive polarity is referred to as active. The receptive polarity of a magnet is said to balance meridian points or areas of the body that are over-stimulated. The receptive polarity receives excess bio-energy from the area where the magnet is applied. This function is used for relieving pain, swelling, reduces inflammation and improves quality of sleep. The active polarity balances meridian points or areas of the body that are under-stimulated because this polarity activates and stimulates through application of additional bio-energy to the area where the magnet is applied. This function stimulates the immune system and promotes balancing and healing. The strength of a magnet is measured in gauss. Gauss measures the intensity of magnetic flux. One Tesla equals ten thousand gauss.

Therapeutic magnetic therapy is widely gaining acceptance in mainstream science. It is cost-efficient, non-invasive and it affords the user relief from pain. Magnetic therapy is a by-product of this new age of enlightenment that evokes ancient teachings and tools in combination with our own intention to change the course of biological misalignment. This is extremely important, but perhaps best stated by the "magnetic master," Kryon: "...we are on the verge of understanding the electro-magnetic mechanisms of our human DNA. If this is indeed so, then I return to the basic premise of the power of human consciousness. If human consciousness is indeed measurable as energy and DNA has an electromagnetic complement, then we are just beginning to realize why intent works for our own healing!" Kryon further instructs on the use of magnets for healing thusly, "…balance the body and remove the stimulus when finished! When it needs to be balanced again, bring out the balancing stimulus. Do not use it constantly as an everyday event."

And So It Is.

Healing/Other Alternatives

Every planet and sign has a number, color, sound, weight, density, etc, as they represent universal archetypes or principles. The knowledge of these associations have become lost or muddled with time, but they are always active or operational. It remains for us to re-discover and re-unite these comparative or reflective principles so that we re-establish wholeness and balance and meaning in our lives.

Most of the planet-sign associations have been figured out, but there is little consensus on the planet-number scheme. The Sun and Moon, for example, being the foremost bodies in the heavens, have long been associated with the numbers one and two respectively, but the consensus basically stops there. The remaining planet-number associations are very divergent or conflicting, depending on the source.

The most commonly accepted planet-number system or association today in modern astrology is as follows....

Sun = 1, Moon = 2, Mercury = 5, Venus = 6, Mars = 4 or 9, Jupiter = 3, Saturn = 8,
Uranus = 9 or 4, Neptune = 7, Pluto = 0

In the Vedic system, which does not recognize the modern planets, there are nine numbers(no zero), with 4 and 7 assigned to Rahu and Ketu or the north and south lunar nodes respectively, and in some other systems Mars and Uranus interchange between 4 and 9.

Much of the difficulty in assigning numbers to planets is due to the ambiguity of dual rulership in astrology which blends masculine and feminine principles. Untill all twelve planets are identified, each with their own ruling sign, and a twelve-number system adopted, there will continue to be much confusion or uncertainty.

In the last 250 years astrology has caught up with numerology by acquiring three new planets, Uranus(1781), Neptune(1846), and Pluto(1930), and moving from the seven-based traditional system to a ten-based system. Two more planets will bring it to the full twelve-based system(one planet for every sign).

The cypher zero has an interesting history. While the Mayans made full use of it at least 2000 years ago, it did not come into significant use (mostly in India) untill around 650 AD. It then spread to the Arab world around 800 AD, and finally to Europe during the Renaissance(1450-1600 AD). Before the use of zero, various cultures used wedges("), dots, or spaces in its place.

Pluto or zero balances the male/female distribution of zodiacal energy in modern times and is one reason why Pluto is having difficulty becoming accepted in our still male-dominated society. The next planet will of course tip the balance again untill and unless all twelve planetary energies are accounted for.

Ideally, masculine planets or signs should be associated with the odd numbers and feminine planets with the even numbers. This is a most basic or fundamental rule and is the reason why I do not accept Uranus(a masculine planet) being associated with the number 4(an even or feminine number). Nor is Neptune(a feminine planet) compatible with the number 7(an odd or masculine number). The number 4 is associated with evil or destruction in the Indian and Oriental numerologies and does not accurately reflect the nature of Uranus. While 7 is definitely a spritual number, it is a much more active and vibrant force than the subtle or receptive nature of Neptune.

So we now have the masculine or odd planets, signs, and numbers on one side and the feminine or even planets, signs, and numbers on the other side(see diagram below).

Diagram A

Su, Me, Ma, Ju, Ur, EaMo, Ve, Sa, Ne, Pl, Vu
1, 3, 5, 7, 9, E2, 4, 6, 8, 0, T

In Diagram A, Mercury and the Earth are assumed masculine or positive while the mysterious Vulcan(or Planet X) is assumed to be feminine or negative in nature. In the numbers column, zero is made to stand for ten, E for eleven, and T for twelve. The next logical division would be one of elements as the following diagram(B) shows.

Diagram B

Su, Ma, JuMe, Ea, UrVe, Vu, SaMo, Ne, Pl

In Diagram B, Jupiter loses its association with the number 3, Mercury with the number 5, Venus with the number six(unless water and earth are reversed), and Neptune with the number 7. I will not attempt to go beyond this stage as I wil no doubt be stepping on too many toes, so I will leave it up to the reader to make his or her own conlusions. It appears from the logic laid out in this treatise that some restructuring of the planet-number scheme is in order.

Master Planets and Numbers

Our current understanding of numbers and planets is limited. Twelve is the universal number -not seven or ten, and just as there are twelve zodiac signs -so there should be twelve corresponding planets and numbers. The re-discoveries of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto moved the planet count from seven to ten, and two more bodies(and numbers) await inclusion.

When we have adopted a twelve-planet/twelve-number system we can deal more properly with the subject of master planets and master numbers. A master planet is one that is in its own home or ruling sign, such as Sun in Leo or Mars in Aries. Master planets are the strongest and purest planets you can have and will dominate the chart. They have the highest vibrations and signify completion or mastery of certain principles depending on the planet/sign involved.

The numerical equivalent of a master planet is a master number. As there are twelve master planets so there are twelve master numbers. Masters numbers are recognized by their double or self-reflecting digits. They are 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99, 00, EE, an TT. The last two do not yet have invented or recognized characters so I have substituted letters E(for Eleven) and T(for Twelve)in their place. One may also substitute them with K(eleventh letter) or L(twelfth letter).

If 1 is the Sun, then 11 is the Sun in Leo. If two is the Moon, then 22 is the Moon in Cancer, and so on. The first digit is the planet and the second is the sign(or vice versa depending on whether we wish to read from left to right or right to left). On this basis, the planetary position of Sun(1) in Cancer(2) would be written as 12, an so on. There would be a total of 144 basic numbers each representing one of the 144 possible planet/sign combinations, with twelve of them being double-digit or master numbers. This scheme would unite the mystical sciences of astrology and numerology into one workable whole, provided it is figured out just which numbers are in fact related to which planets or signs.

A New Counting System?

There are already twelve glyphs or characters for the zodiac signs -why not use them in the place of numbers? would equal 1, =2, =3, and so on, with replacing 0 and with and being used only in a twelve-based system. In our ten-based system the year 2007, for example, would be written as . In a twelve-based system =10, =11, and =0, so that 2007 would be written as (1728+144+132+3) and 2012 as (1728+144+132+8).

Psychedelic Healing?

Hallucinogenic drugs, which blew minds in the 1960s, soon may be used to treat mental ailments

By David Jay Brown

Mind-altering psychedelics are back—but this time they are being explored in labs for their therapeutic applications rather than being used illegally. Studies are looking at these hallucinogens to treat a number of otherwise intractable psychiatric disorders, including chronic depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and drug or alcohol dependency.

The past 15 years have seen a quiet resurgence of psychedelic drug research as scientists have come to recognize the long-underappreciated potential of these drugs. In the past few years, a growing number of studies using human volunteers have begun to explore the possible therapeutic benefits of drugs such as LSD, psilocybin, DMT, MDMA, ibogaine and ketamine.

Much remains unclear about the precise neural mechanisms governing how these drugs produce their mind-bending results, but they often produce somewhat similar psychoactive effects that make them potential therapeutic tools. Though still in their preliminary stages, studies in humans suggest that the day when people can schedule a psychedelic session with their therapist to overcome a serious psychiatric problem may not be that far off.

The Trip Begins
Psychedelic drug research began in 1897, when German chemist Arthur Heffter first isolated mescaline, the primary psychoactive compound in the peyote cactus. In 1943 Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann discovered the hallucinogenic effects of LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals in Basel while studying ergot, a fungus that grows on rye. Fifteen years later, in 1958, he was the first to isolate psilocybin and psilocin—the psychoactive components of the Mexican “magic mushroom,” Psilocybe mexicana.

Before 1972, close to 700 studies with psychedelic drugs took place. The research suggested that psychedelics offered significant benefits: they helped recovering alcoholics abstain, soothed the anxieties of terminal cancer patients, and eased the symptoms of many difficult-to-treat psychiatric illnesses, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder.

For example, between 1967 and 1972 studies in terminal cancer patients by psychiatrist Stanislav Grof and his colleagues at Spring Grove State Hospital in Baltimore showed that LSD combined with psychotherapy could alleviate symptoms of depression, tension, anxiety, sleep disturbances, psychological withdrawal and even severe physical pain. Other investigators during this era found that LSD may have some interesting potential as a means to facilitate creative problem solving.

Between 1972 and 1990 there were no human studies with psychedelic drugs. Their disappearance was the result of a political backlash that followed the promotion of these drugs by the 1960s counterculture. This reaction not only made these substances illegal for personal use but also made it extremely difficult for researchers to get government approval to study them.

Things began to change in 1990, when “open-minded regulators at the FDA decided to put science before politics when it came to psychedelic and medical marijuana research,” says Rick Doblin, a public policy expert and head of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). “FDA openness to research is really the key factor. Also, senior researchers who were influenced by psychedelics in the sixties now are speaking up before they retire and have earned credibility.” Chemist and neuropharmacologist David E. Nichols of Purdue University adds, “Baby boomers who experienced the psychedelic sixties are now mature scientists and clinicians who have retained their curiosity but only recently had the opportunity to reexplore these substances.”

Research Begins Anew
The efforts of two privately funded organizations have catalyzed much of the recent wave of research: MAPS, founded in 1986 by Doblin, and the Heffter Research Institute, started in 1993. Outside the U.S. there are groups such as the Beckley Foundation in England and the Russian Psychedelic Society. These seek out interested researchers, assist in developing the experimental design for the studies, and help to obtain funding and government approval to conduct clinical trials. They have initiated numerous FDA-approved clinical trials in the U.S., Switzerland, Israel and Spain. So far the agency has approved seven studies, with two under review and more on the way.

Current studies are focusing on psychedelic treatments for cluster headaches, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), severe anxiety in terminal cancer patients, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), alcoholism and opiate addiction. New drugs must pass three clinical milestones before they can be marketed to the public, called phase I (for safety, usually in 20 to 80 volunteers), phase II (for efficacy, in several hundred subjects) and phase III (more extensive data on safety and efficacy come from testing the drug in up to several thousand people). All the studies discussed in this article have received government approval, and their investigators are either in the process of recruiting human subjects or have begun or completed research on human subjects in the first or second stage of this trial process.

Psychedelic drugs affect all mental functions: perception, emotion, cognition, body awareness and one’s sense of self. Unlike every other class of drugs, psychedelic drug effects depend heavily on the environment and on the expectations of the subject, which is why combining them with psychotherapy is so vital.

“Psychedelics may be therapeutic to the extent that they elicit processes that are known to be useful in a therapeutic context: transference reactions and working through them; enhanced symbolism and imagery; increased suggestibility; increased contact between emotions and ideations; controlled regression; et cetera,” says psychiatrist Rick Strassman of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, who from 1990 to 1995 performed the first human study using psychedelic drugs in about 20 years, investigating the effects of DMT on 60 human subjects. “This all depends, though, on set and setting,” he cautions. “These same properties could also be turned to very negative experiences, if the support and expectation for a beneficial experience aren’t there.”

Mechanisms and Targets
Scientists divide classical psychedelic drugs into two basic chemical groups: tryptamines (such as LSD, DMT and psilocybin) and phenethylamines (such as mescaline and MDMA). In addition, some people consider so-called dissociative anesthetics (such as ketamine and PCP) to be psychedelic drugs, although the way they affect the brain is quite different.

The exact mechanisms differ, but all the tryptamine hallucinogens—which make up the majority of psychedelic drugs—selectively bind to specific serotonin receptors on neurons, mimicking the effects of the nerve-signaling chemical, or neurotransmitter, serotonin on these receptors. Phenethylamines mimic the chemical structure of another neurotransmitter, dopamine. They actually bind to many of the same serotonin receptors activated by the tryptamines, however. Serotonin is responsible for many important functions, including mood, memory, appetite, sex and sleep. It is such an essential neurochemical that any substance—such as a hallucinogen—that interferes with its action might be expected to produce dramatic changes in brain function.

How do the drugs create their perceptual effects? Neuroscientists believe that activation of a particular set of serotonin receptors, the 2A subtype, which are highly expressed (or present) in the cortex, the outermost layer of the brain, interferes with the processing of sensory information. Consciousness is thought to involve a complex interaction among the cortex, the thalamus and the striatum. Disruption of this network by activation of serotonin 2A receptors is now the most popular theory for the mechanism of action for tryptamine and phenethylamine psychedelics.

“There are at least two possible mechanisms for beneficial actions,” Nichols says. “The first simply involves a change in the numbers of brain serotonin 2A receptors. Activation of serotonin 2A receptors by psychedelics causes the number of receptors expressed on the surface of neurons to decrease, a process called downregulation. For some disorders, such as OCD, it may be this receptor downregulation that could be therapeutic,” he explains. “The other possible mechanism is a psychological effect that is harder to define but in some way produces changes in the way the subject perceives pain and distress. Psychedelics seem able to produce a profound cognitive change that provides the patient with a new insight—the ability to see the world from a new perspective—somehow reducing anxiety and raising the pain threshold.”

MDMA (3,4-methylenedioxy-N-methylamphetamine) is also chemically classified as a phenethylamine, but its action in the brain is substantially different from that of other drugs discussed in this article. “In contrast to most psychedelics, MDMA does not directly stimulate serotonin 2A receptors but instead causes dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine [another neurotransmitter] to be released from their stores in neuron endings,” Nichols says. There is some controversy about whether MDMA has neurotoxic effects. Most researchers believe, however, that the occasional moderate use of MDMA at therapeutic doses would not be damaging. There have been no recent studies using mescaline, although MAPS plans to initiate some in the future.

In contrast to the traditional psychedelics, the dissociative anesthetics selectively bind to N-methyl-D-aspartic acid (NMDA) receptors, blocking the neurotransmitter glutamate from activating these receptors. “Because glutamate is an essential neurotransmitter that activates neurons, this blocking effect seems to prevent the processing of sensory information by the brain,” Nichols states.

Ketamine appears to hold particular promise as a psychedelic therapy because it is already among the selections in Western medicine’s pharmacopoeia. In addition to being part of a different chemical class of drugs than the other psychedelics, ketamine is in a separate legal class as an FDA-approved schedule III drug. This designation means that any physician can administer it for an off-label use if he or she believes it will help the patient.

Although some research indicates that psychedelic drugs may enhance suggestibility and certain aspects of psychotherapy, the benefits of dissociative anesthetics such as ketamine and ibogaine may simply be the result of enduring biochemical changes in the brain. For example, in 2006 Carlos Zarate of the National Institute of Mental Health published a study demonstrating ketamine’s unusual antidepressant properties [see “Good News about Depression,” by Walter Brown; Scientific American Mind, June/July 2007]. A single infusion of ketamine relieved symptoms of depression in some patients within a few hours, and that relief persisted for several days.

This was the third study that showed ketamine’s powerful and enduring antidepressant effects. In an intriguing finding from one of the previous studies, subjects received the ketamine as an anesthetic for orthopedic surgery—so they were not even conscious during the mind-altering segment of the drug’s action in the brain—and the antidepressant effects occurred postoperatively.

In other work seeking to help cure addicts, a preliminary ketamine study, in which psychiatrist Evgeny Krupitsky of St. Petersburg, Russia, treated 59 patients with heroin dependency, produced encouraging results. And the Iboga Therapy House in Vancouver, Canada, has recently begun a study that has so far successfully treated three out of 20 opiate-addicted subjects with ibogaine. The experimental procedure substantially reduced the withdrawal symptoms associated with opiate addiction, helping the addicts to recover and break their dependency on the drug.

OCD, Cluster Headaches and Cancer
In addition to the promising work with ibogaine and the dissociative anesthetics, progress is also being made in the study of conventional psychedelics. In 2006 investigators at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine published the results of a six-year project on the effects of psilocybin, in which more than 60 percent of the participants reported positive changes in their attitude and behavior after taking the drug, a benefit that lasted for at least several months.

In another 2006 study, researchers at the University of Arizona, led by psychiatrist Francisco Moreno, found that psilocybin relieved the symptoms of nine patients with OCD. The patients suffered from a wide range of obsessions and compulsions. Some of them showered for hours; others put on their clothes over and over again until they felt right. All nine experienced improvements with at least some of the doses tested.

“What we saw was a drastic decrease in symptoms for a period of time,” Moreno says. “People would report that it had been years since they had felt so good.” Moreno cautions that the goal

was simply to test the safety of administering psilocybin to OCD patients and that the true effectiveness of the drug is still in question until a larger controlled study can be conducted. Such a study is being planned, although there are currently no funds available for it. According to Moreno, however, no treatment in the medical literature eases OCD symptoms as fast as psilocybin does. Whereas other drugs take several weeks to show an effect, psilocybin worked almost immediately.

Preliminary results of a current study led by psychiatrist Charles Grob of the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center suggest that psilocybin may reduce the psychological distress associated with terminal cancer. This research seeks to measure the effectiveness of psilocybin on the reduction of anxiety, depression and physical pain in advanced-stage cancer patients. Grob’s study is almost complete; 11 out of 12 subjects have already been treated. Although the formal data analysis has not been completed, “my impression,” Grob says, “from just staying in touch with these people and following them is that some do seem to be functioning better psychologically. There seems to be less anxiety, improved mood and an overall improved quality of life. There also seems to be less fear of death.”

The first studies of psychedelic drugs at Harvard University since 1965 are also now under way. In one study, psychiatrist John Halpern and his colleagues are looking into using LSD and psilocybin to treat the debilitating symptoms of cluster headaches. The researchers, who are in the process of recruiting subjects, will probably begin trials in early 2008.

Acute Anxiety and PTSD
Another study at Harvard, also led by Halpern, will look into MDMA-assisted psychotherapy in subjects with anxiety associated with advanced-stage cancer—similar to Grob’s psilocybin study—using measures to evaluate anxiety, pain and overall quality of life. This study is also in the process of recruiting human subjects.

Psychiatrist Michael Mithoefer in Charleston, S.C., is running an MDMA study for treatment-resistant PTSD victims of crime, war or childhood sexual abuse. So far 17 out of 20 such subjects have already undergone the experimental therapy. “At this point the results are very promising,” Mithoefer says. “I think we’re seeing pretty strong, robust effects in some people. I hasten to add these are preliminary findings—we’re not ready to draw conclusions yet. But assuming it keeps going this way for the rest of the study, it certainly seems that there’s very good reason to go on to larger phase III trials.”

Although we are still in the early days of psychedelic therapy research, the initial data show considerable promise. A growing number of scientists believe that psychedelic drugs may offer safe and effective help for people with certain treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders and could possibly help some people who receive partial relief from current methods to obtain a more complete healing.

The Bach Flower Remedies

What are the Bach Flower Remedies?

The Bach Flower remedies were discovered over sixty years ago by Dr. Edward Bach MB, BS, MRCS, LRCP. He received his Diploma of Public Health (DHP) at Cambridge in 1913.

When he was receiving his medical training, he began to realize that his patients needed more than treatment for their physical symptoms. He also recognized that the body seemed to mirror emotional or mental problems. Negative states such as worry, guilt, fear, depression seemed to slow down the process of healing. Whereas positive states such as joyfulness, positive attitude, hopeful outlook for the future, seemed to promote or speed recovery from illness.

Bach (pronounced Batch by the British) continued his studies looking into other conventional healing modalities. He studied bacteriology and became well-known for his research in that area. Along the way he met Dr. Hahnemann, a homeopathic physician. Dr. Bach believed in the benefits of homeopathy and became a homeopath who worked for several years in the laboratories of the Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital. It was there he prepared seven nosodes that were used for chronic diseases and were given by mouth. It was during this time period that he made a significant discovery.

Bach attended an evening dinner party and was finishing up his cup of tea before leaving. He was observing a group of people standing in a corner having a conversation. He noticed that while that had very different physical symptoms, they seemed to display the same or similar emotional/mental states. This coincided with his observation that some of his patients that received nosodes had the same emotional problems regardless of their various physical conditions. From that time forward, Bach began to give “remedies” to patients based on their “temperaments” rather than their physical states.

Bach’s conclusions about his patients had been based on his intellectual understanding of their problems and he continually searched for a scientific basis for the effectiveness of his remedies. Homeopathy had been a good start in another direction but it was a very deep study and Bach was looking for something that would be simple, yet harmless and quick to restore balance to the individual. At this time he decided to leave his professional life in London and retreat to his home in the country.

It was in this quiet place of peace and solitude that Bach discovered his “intuitive” side. He became quite sensitive and found that he could pass his hand over a flower and “know” its properties. Furthermore, if he needed to find a remedy for some negative state of mind, he began to experience it within himself until he found the flower that would correct the condition and restore him to a state of peace.

For seven years he searched for and found the flowers that would satisfy the seven major negative states of mind: Fear, Uncertainty, Insufficient Interest in Present Circumstances, Loneliness, Over-sensitivity to Influences and Ideas, Despondency or Despair, Over-Care for the Welfare of Others. These flowers grew above ground, in the air and sunlight and were prepared in a specific fashion. They were prepared where they grew. The heads of the flowers were placed in clean water in a bowl in full sunlight for three hours. Bach felt the heat of the sun would be enough to draw the energy of the flower into the water. The flowers were then removed and the water was bottled and preserved with a small amount of brandy. To this day, this is the way the Bach Flower Remedies are prepared.

The remedies are not homeopathic but they do carry a specific energy pattern with them that is effective in balancing out the negative states of mind that plague man. Though there are thirty-eight total remedies, there is one combination that is used for emergencies. That remedy is called “Rescue” and is used in situations calling for immediate attention such as shock, grief, unconsciousness, terror.

The remedies are used all over the world and are safe for plants, animals, or humans. Though the amount one takes at one time is quite small - 3-4 drops under the tongue or in another liquid before you swallow it, they can be very powerful.

Rescue remedy has also been made into a cream to apply topically when there is a trauma to the skin or soft tissue.

The Bach remedies are readily available at most health food stores or homeopathic outlets.

This unique meditation breathing technique is a key to accessing your subconscious & conscious minds and having them work together as one. This helps you set and achieve goals, change negative programming to positive, transcend "brain chatter" and even the limits of your body. Having them work together as one is important, because if you want to achieve "goal success", you don't want those two aspects pulling in different directions. The "Conscious Breath" meditation allows you to become aware of your breathing, without controlling it. By practicing it, you will gain both sub-conscious control and conscious mind/subconscious mind integration. DOING IT: Sit with your spine erect if possible. If not, lay down. Relax and sort of watch your body breathe. Just pay attention to the fact that it's happening without "you" doing anything, and keep your mind focused on the breath going in and out, without interfering with it. The trick is to let your subconscious mind control your breathing for you (like your body does normally), but pay attention to it. I.e., be CONSCIOUSLY AWARE of your breathing while that is happening. Don't try and control it. This mediation requires a passive concentration. By doing this, over time you will eventually attain an integration of sub-conscious and conscious, which has many, many benefits . Thats all there is to it. At first, until your concentration develops, your mind will wander all over the place. As soon as you realize that your mind has wandered, bring it right back to watching yourself breathe. Dont waste energy reprimanding yourself for not maintaining concentration, that just creates an unnecessary struggle which allows frustration to occur. Frustration is a negative emotion that counteracts your efforts for inner peace and relaxation. Note: Bringing yourself back to the object of concentration immediately upon recognizing that youve wandered off, applies to all concentration/meditation techniques. Besides those discussed above, one result of bridging the two minds is that the conscious mind becomes still and quiet. You get more inner peace as you become free from the constant "internal noise" in your brain, while lessening your reaction to the external stimuli that prevents/blocks you from becoming a "reflection" of higher states of awareness & consciousness. This meditation (that has Tibetan roots) is great for that.

The Cure for Asthma

Asthma is a very old disease described in the ancient literature. The only progress we have made to date with this disease is to give drugs to soothe the symptoms.

Asthma is associated in all (100%) cases with tiny Ascaris larvae. As soon as eggs hatch (in the stomach, immediately after swallowing filth) the microscopic larvae travel to the lungs, not the intestines. Imagine the stress of lungs full of tiny worms! One tries to cough them up, of course, but in our misguided effort to be polite we teach children to swallow anything they cough up! Some swallowing is inevitable and the young worms are back in the stomach, this time to set up their house keeping in the intestine. Some never leave the stomach, causing children stomach aches and, of course, a large entourage of bacteria which, in turn, have their viruses.

Most cases of Ascaris infestation also show Bacteroides fragilis bacteria which, in turn, carry the Coxsackie viruses (brain viruses). Whether or not these bacteria or viruses will thrive in you depends on whether you make a good home for them, namely have low immunity in some organ. The preferred organs for Bacteroides are liver and brain (brain tumors always show Bacteroides). The preferred organs for Coxsackie viruses appear to be tooth abscesses and brain.

Not everybody with Ascaris develops asthma, even though they always go through a lung stage. Does this depend on the age of the person when the infection develops? Or how many Ascaris are present? Or the time of year when lung infection is present?

That innocent cough of early childhood should not be neglected, as simply "croup". At the first sign of a cough, use a zapper. Pay extra attention to washing hands before meals. Pay extra attention to animals nearby. Kill their Ascaris with a zapper and keep it up daily or put parasite killing herbs in their food.

[Note: In the 1998 editions of the Cancer and HIV book, a very effective improved way of getting rid of Ascaris is described. Use CoQ10, Cysteine and ozonated olive oil besides zapping to get rid of Ascaris immediately.]

Asthma sufferers become allergic to many air pollutants such as pollen, animal dander, smoke. The production of histamine in the lungs and the vast interconnectedness of histamine to allergies has been well studied scientifically. Although invasion by worms is known to result in both histamine production and high eosinophil counts (over 3), and asthma clients typically have both, they are not routinely checked for worms clinically! They are simply given drugs to enable better breathing. More and better (though toxic) drugs have been developed.

But you can put your asthma by terminating your Ascaris infection. [...] Dogs, cats, pigs and horses all get Ascaris. [...] If there is an asthmatic in your family, the whole family should be treated for Ascaris.

The Venture-Starships Tri-Phase Merkaba

The role of the translator or individual who holds onto an energetic signature that allows for a certain hyper-extended interface through the oversoul matrix into the morphogenetic bluerpint is both integral and is important. Every single human being has the capability to achieve a certain level of resonance or attunement through the Oversoul Matrix with the Universal Logos.

This is the importance of the visual representation of the 12 DnA Strand Heart Soul Star. The symbolism contained within it's design and throughout the rest of the presentation that I have worked so hard to begin to piece together over the past few years is important. Somehow there must be a decision made, each moment is a determining factor in the unfoldment or course of events. There are many timelines that branch off from each intersection or nested point within the overall grid.

I thought I would sit down for a few minutes, felt like I was catching a fluid wave. The morphogentic field essentially appears to be an upstepped electromagnetic field that holds the blueprint or resonant frequency & design for the form being held. Or I guess it looks sorta like a field level that exists beyond the electromagnetic spectrum. I personally think that understanding of electromagnetism is one of the most supremely integral components to putting the pieces of the puzzle together. Electromagnetism and Gravity together serve almost as universal glue.

There are Universal Fluid Wave Mechanics / Dynamics and the quantum and sub-quantum realms have just begun to be understood by our phsyicists. You see, what the Guardian Alliance calls 'Keylontic Morphogenetic Science'; for the past 5-6 years I have been calling it 'Omni-Dimensional Science & Spirituality'. When my own awakening process began, after I had the direct overhead flyovers back in 1995 - this is when I began to receive this information.

I think that after these experiences, potentially this translator function within me was activated. I personally do believe in the reality of telepathic communication [and multiple extraterrestrial species], I think that humans possess much greater sentience than we have utilized. For so long, I have wanted to see a core group of individuals formed, this would be the core group of individuals who held onto the specific resonant frequencies that when interconnected with one another would hold a locked higher freaquency and serve as a group of scalar antennaes.

Personally, this is what I believe the true teachings of those who are representatives of the 'Guardian Alliance'. To my own mind and perceptual framework language is one of the most extremely important elements in the compostion or formation of any understanding. Our languages serve as the structural framework for the representations we hold within our awareness. These internal representations of ourselves and the world outside us, in affect are a co-particpatory element in the actualization of events.

This is to say that our woldview or representations of reality are formed through a mutually agreed upon consensus in between the greater majority of individuals. For so long, the minds - hearts & imaginations of humanity have been shackled in darkness, throughout the millenia of development. Once again into a Sophisticated Global Planetary Civilization we have reached. There is a great sickness within the human species collective soul matrix. In many ways it intertwines into dynamics involving the extraterrestrials.

What the end of time is representative of is humanity once again becoming focused within an understanding of the sacred circle, from this cross section a sphere is formed. Within this sphere is creative and generative source in vortex spiral motion, the sphere is also rotating. The Hopi Prophecy of the Rainbow Warriors and Humanity's return to the Circle of Life must be fulfilled [there is so much love in the elemental composition or soul matrix that I house, please allow it to be unleashed].

I can tell you from my own personal experiences that those forces that exist beyond mere mortal comprehension do exist. In many ways there has been significant misunderstanding, hence mis-representation throughout time. There have also been elements who always are intent on seeing those things which exist in wholeness split apart.

It is time for the entirely new perceptual framework to be rapidly adopted by the human species. This perceptual framework is beginning to be outlined within many sectors of human scientific endeavor, it is bringing many questions to the forefront of our minds. There are issues at stake that strike lightning pulses into the hearts, souls, and core teachings of our Ancestors, and questions as to whether our potential descendants future world is at stake.

We must show greater respect to both the achievements of our Ancestors and those aspects of their cultures and the world and cosmos around them that affect us. There really is no seperation other than that which we perceive due to our disconnection from the Original Intended Blueprint, mis-representation and misunderstanding of events within the spatial / temporal continuum.

The entire universe is a continuum, and this is one of the most mis-understand and mis-represented elements within the minds of humanity. This is where the potential to be unleashed exists, there have been instances where allusions to the greater picture have been represented with a certain amount of clarity. It is time to increase the momentum.

Here is my conjecture with probably lots of hypothesizing spliced into the mixture. If we give some credence to what has been outlined by Barbara Marciniak and her Bringers of the Dawn book, then I think we should give what I have to say some credence. What I see is how through her the Pleidians described the human species in essence as a Living Library. So this intertwines into what many people call the Hall of Records.

What I am perceiving is that the Logos is almost like the Centralized Crystal Core of a Holographic Supercomputer. From within my limited perceptual scope this is the best way for me to describe it.

In actuality, this core exists as the Central Axis of what one day our scientist will come to understand as being a Multiple Universal Cosmological Genesis. One of the most important things that can be understand in addition to some physics is that in order for any form to come into physical manifestion their must exist a blueprint. Where do the blueprints exist for all the forms and the guidelines, operational parameters and directives for how they will inter-relate throughout the space time continuum ? I would say they probably exist within the Core Crystal that exists at the Central Axis of the whole entire rotating momentum.

We the human species have so much to learn, both as individual within the greater collective and as a whole. I continue to increase the octave within my heart; even after being completely betrayed - for the greater good of all participants. I have sacrificed myself and suffered in many ways for what I perceived to be a much greater truth.

It has not been an easy pathway for one young man who has not really had any mentors, throughout the majority of my growth process up until this point; I have come to learn that we can only rely on ourselves. In reality there is no one else, as much as we like to believe that there is someone else who understands; my personal perspective is this is just part of the test. I came to know someone who I have a connection with from the most high soul source energetics, due to circumstances involving extraterrestrial politics and difficulties within each incarnate identity - a contractual agreement was broken.

I am telling you, we as individuals do not realize our importance in the unfoldment of events within the spatial temporal continuum. We also do not recognize our strength and power in the contouring of eventual outcomes. I think that for the rest of my life, I must now focus on further becoming a vehicle for the expression of as pure of source energetics as I can embody.

From this point forward, I only have one objective in my life. This is to be a catalyst and component in the telling of a much greater story and the real truth to be once again and finally told. I know that Multi-Media Design and Major Motion Picture are two elemental keys in unlocking the hearts, minds and imaginations of the human species.

All the power is being put in the hands of the select few. The events surrounding the merger of AoL & Time Warner are of extremely significant importance to note. There is so much potential and we are literally going to see the transformation of an entire world, or it's catastrophic obliteration. I still do feel that the two main potential timelines that I have come to view exist. I personally am holding a focus that the human species will overcome our territorial boundaries, ethnic / religious prejudice and become the highly sentient and conscious aware beings that we are.

Preparatory Stage

If you sincerely desire to develop contemplation and attain insight in this your present life, you must give up worldly thoughts and actions during the training. This course of action is for the purification of conduct, the essential preliminary step towards the proper development of contemplation. You must also observe the rules of discipline prescribed for laymen, (or for monks, as the case may be) for they are important in gaining insight. For laypeople, these rules comprise the eight precepts which Buddhist devotees observe on sabbath days (uposatha) and during periods of meditation. An additional rule is not to speak with contempt, in jest, or with malice to or about any of the noble ones who have attained states of sanctity. If you have done so, then personally apologize to him or her or make an apology through your meditation instructor. If in the past you have spoken contemptuously to a noble one who is at present unavailable or deceased, confess this offence to your meditation instructor or introspectively to yourself. The old masters of Buddhist tradition suggest that you entrust yourself to the Enlightened One, the Buddha, during the training period, for you may be alarmed if it happens that your own state of mind produces unwholesome or frightening visions during contemplation. Also place yourself under the guidance of your meditation instructor, for then, he can talk to you frankly about your work in contemplation and give you the guidance he thinks necessary. These are the advantages of placing trust in the Enlightened One, the Buddha, and practising under the guidance of your instructor. The aim of this practice and its greatest benefit is release from greed, hatred and delusion, which are the roots of all evil and suffering. This intensive course in insight training can lead you to such release. So work ardently with this end in view so that your training will be successfully completed. This kind of training in contemplation, based on the foundations of mindfulness (satipatthana), had been taken by successive Buddhas and noble ones who attained release. You are to be congratulated on having the opportunity to take the same kind of training they had undergone.

It is also important for you to begin your training with a brief contemplation on the 'four protections' which the Enlightened One, the Buddha, offers you for reflection. It is helpful for your psychological welfare at this stage to reflect on them. The subjects of the four protective reflections are the Buddha himself, loving-kindness, the loathsome aspects of the body, and death. First, devote yourself to the Buddha by sincerely appreciating his nine chief qualities in this way:

Truly, the Buddha is holy, fully enlightened, perfect in knowledge and conduct, a welfarer, world-knower, the incomparable leader of men to be tamed, teacher of gods and mankind, the awakened one and the exalted one.

Secondly, reflect upon all sentient beings as the receivers of your loving-kindness and identify yourself with all sentient beings without distinction, thus: May I be free from enmity, disease and grief. As I am, so also may my parents, preceptors, teachers, intimate and indifferent and inimical beings be free from enmity, disease and grief. May they be released from suffering.

Thirdly, reflect upon the repulsive nature of the body to assist you in diminishing the unwholesome attachment that so many people have for the body. Dwell on some of its impurities, such as stomach, intestines, phlegm, pus, blood. Ponder on these impurities so that the absurd fondness for the body may be eliminated.

The fourth protection for your psychological benefit is to reflect on the phenomenon of ever-approaching death. Buddhist teachings stress that life is uncertain, but death is certain; life is precarious but death is sure. Life has death as its goal. There is birth, disease, suffering, old age, and eventually, death. These are all aspects of the process of existence.

To begin training, take the sitting posture with the legs crossed. You might feel more comfortable if the legs are not inter-locked but evenly placed on the ground, without pressing one against the other. If you find that sitting on the floor interferes with contemplation, then obtain a more comfortable way of sitting. Now proceed with each exercise in contemplation as described.

Basic Exercise I

Try to keep your mind (but not your eyes) on the abdomen. You will thereby come to know its rising and falling movements. If these movements are not clear to you in the beginning, then place both hands on the abdomen to feel these rising and falling movements. After a short time the upward movement of exhalation will become clear. Then make a mental note of rising for the upward movement, falling for the downward movement. Your mental note of each movement must be made while it occurs.

From this exercise you learn the actual manner of the upward and downward movements of the abdomen. You are not concerned with the form of the abdomen. What you actually perceive is the bodily sensation of pressure caused by the heaving movement of the abdomen. So do not dwell on the form of the abdomen but proceed with the exercise. For the beginner it is a very effective method of developing the faculties of attention, concentration of mind and insight in contemplation. As practice progresses, the manner of the movements will be clearer. The ability to know each successive occurrence of the mental and physical processes at each of the six sense organs is acquired only when insight contemplation is fully developed. Since you are only a beginner whose attentiveness and power of concentration are still weak, you may find it difficult to keep the mind on each successive rising movement and falling movement as it occurs. In view of this difficulty, you may be inclined to think, "I just don't know how to keep my mind on each of these movements." Then simply remember that this is a learning process. The rising and falling movements of the abdomen are always present and therefore there is no need to look for them. Actually it is easy for a beginner to keep his or her mind on these two simple movements.

Continue with this exercise in full awareness of the abdomen's rising and falling movements. Never verbally repeat the words, rising, falling, and do not think of rising and falling as words. Be aware only of the actual process of the rising and falling movements of the abdomen. Avoid deep or rapid breathing for the purpose of making the abdominal movements more distinct, because this procedure causes fatigue that interferes with the practice. Just be totally aware of the movements of rising and falling as they occur in the course of normal breathing.

Basic Exercise II

While occupied with the exercise of observing each of the abdominal movements, other mental activities may occur between the noting of each rising and falling. Thoughts or other mental functions, such as intentions, ideas, imaginings, are likely to occur between each mental note of rising and falling. They cannot be disregarded. A mental note must be made of each as it occurs.

If you imagine something, you must know that you have done so and make a mental note, imagining. If you simply think of something, mentally note, thinking. If you reflect, reflecting. If you intend to do something, intending. When the mind wanders from the object of meditation which is the rising and falling of the abdomen, mentally note, wandering. Should you imagine you are going to a certain place, note going. When you arrive, arriving. When, in your thoughts, you meet a person, note meeting. Should you speak to him or her, speaking. If you imaginarily argue with that person, notearguing. If you envision or imagine a light or colour, be sure to note seeing. A mental vision must be noted on each occurrence of its appearance until it passes away. After its disappearance, continue with Basic Exercise I, by being fully aware of each movement of the rising and falling abdomen. Proceed carefully, without slackening. If you intend to swallow saliva while thus engaged, make a mental note intending. While in the act of swallowing, swallowing. If you spit, spitting. Then return to the exercise of noting rising and falling.

Suppose you intend to bend the neck, note intending. In the act of bending, bending. When you intend to straighten the neck, intending. In the act of straightening the neck, straightening. The neck movements of bending and straightening must be done slowly. After mentally making a note of each of these actions, proceed in full awareness with noticing the movements of the rising and falling abdomen.

Basic Exercise III

Since you must continue contemplating for a long time while in one position, that of sitting or lying down, ( it is not advised that the meditator should use the lying posture except when it is time to sleep.) you are likely to experience an intense feeling of fatigue, stiffness in the body or in the arms and legs. Should this happen, simply keep the knowing mind on that part of the body where such feelings occur and carry on the contemplation, noting tired or stiff. Do this naturally; that is, neither too fast nor too slow. These feelings gradually become fainter and finally cease altogether. Should one of these feelings become more intense until the bodily fatigue or stiffness of joints is unbearable, then change your position. However, do not forget to make a mental note of intending, before you proceed to change your position. Each movement must be contemplated in its respective order and in detail.

If you intend to lift the hand or leg, make a mental note intending. In the act of lifting the hand or leg, lifting. Stretching either the hand or the leg, stretching. When you bend it, bending. When putting it down, putting. Should either the hand or leg touch, >touching. Perform all of these actions in a slow and deliberate manner. As soon as you are settled in the new position, continue with the contemplation in another position keeping to the procedure outlined in this paragraph.

Should an itching sensation be felt in any part of the body, keep the mind on that part and make a mental note, itching. Do this in a regulated manner, neither too fast nor too slow. When the itching sensation disappears in the course of full awareness, continue with the exercise of noticing the rising and falling of the abdomen. Should the itching continue and become too strong and you intend to rub the itchy part, be sure to make a mental note, intending. Slowly lift the hand, simultaneously noting the actions of lifting; and touching, when the hand touches the part that itches. Rub slowly in complete awareness of rubbing. When the itching sensation has disappeared and you intend to discontinue rubbing, be mindful by making the usual mental note of intending. Slowly withdraw the hand, concurrently making a mental note of the action, withdrawing. When the hand rests in its usual place touching the leg, touching. Then again devote your time to observing the abdominal movements.

If there is pain or discomfort, keep the knowing mind on that part of the body where the sensation arises. Make a mental note of the specific sensation as it occurs, such as painful, aching, pressing, piercing, tired, giddy. It must be stressed that the mental note must not be forced nor delayed but made in a calm and natural manner. The pain may eventually cease or increase. Do not be alarmed if it increases. Firmly continue the contemplation. If you do so, you will find that the pain will almost always cease. But if, after a time, the pain has increased and becomes unbearable, you must ignore the pain and continue with the contemplation of rising and falling.

As you progress in mindfulness you may experience sensations of intense pain: stifling or choking sensations, such as pain from the slash of a knife, the thrust of a sharp-pointed instrument, unpleasant sensations of being pricked by sharp needles, or of small insects crawling over the body. You might experience sensations of itching, biting, intense cold. As soon as you discontinue the contemplation you may also feel that these painful sensations cease. When you resume contemplation you will have them again as soon as you gain in mindfulness. These painful sensations are not to be considered as something wrong. They are not manifestations of disease but are common factors always present in the body and are usually obscured when the mind is normally occupied with more conspicuous objects. When the mental faculties become keener you are more aware of these sensations. With the continued development of contemplation the time will come when you can overcome them and they will cease altogether. If you continue contemplation, firm in purpose, you will not come to any harm. Should you lose courage, become irresolute in contemplation and discontinue for some time, you may encounter these unpleasant sensations again and again as your contemplation proceeds. If you continue with determination you will most likely overcome these painful sensations and may never again experience them in the course of contemplation.

Should you intend to sway the body, then knowingly note intending. While in the act of swaying, swaying. When contemplating you may occasionally discover the body swaying back and forth. Do not be alarmed; neither be pleased nor wish to continue to sway. The swaying will cease if you keep the knowing mind on the action of swaying and continue to note swaying until the action ceases. If swaying increases in spite of your making a mental note of it, then lean against a wall or post or lie down for a while. Thereafter proceed with contemplation. Follow the same procedure if you find yourself shaking or trembling. When contemplation is developed you may sometimes feel a thrill or chill pass through the back or the entire body. This is a symptom of the feeling of intense interest, enthusiasm or rapture. It occurs naturally in the course of good contemplation. When your mind is fixed in contemplation you may be startled at the slightest sound. This takes place because you feel the effect of sensory impression more intensely while in a state of concentration.

If you are thirsty while contemplating, notice the feeling, thirsty. When you intend to stand, intending. Keep the mind intently on the act of standing up, and mentally note standing. When you look forward after standing up straight, note looking, seeing. Should you intend to walk forward, intending. When you begin to step forward, mentally note each step as walking, walking, or It is important for you to be aware of every moment in each step from the beginning to the end when you walk. Adhere to the same procedure when strolling or when taking walking exercise. Try to make a mental note of each step in two sections as follows: lifting, putting, lifting, putting. When you have obtained sufficient practice in this manner of walking, then try to make a mental note of each step in three sections; lifting, pushing, putting; or up, forward, down.

When you look at the tap or water-pot on arriving at the place where you are to take a drink, be sure to make a mental note, looking, seeing.

When you stop walking, stopping.

When you stretch out the hand, stretching.

& Whenyou touch the cup, touching.

When you take the cup, taking.

When dipping the cup into the water, dipping.

When bringing the cup to the lips, bringing.

When the cup touches the lips, touching.

When you swallow, swallowing.

When returning the cup, returning.

When withdrawing the hand, withdrawing.

When you bring down the hand, bringing.

When the hand touches the side of the body, touching.

If you intend to turn round, intending.

When you turn round, turning.

When you walk forward, walking.

On arriving at the place where you intend to stop, intending.

When you stop, stopping.

If you remain standing for some time continue the contemplation of rising and falling. But if you intend to sit down, note intending>. When you go to sit down, walking. On arriving at the place where you will sit, arriving. When you turn to sit, turning. While in the act of sitting down, sitting. Sit down slowly, and keep the mind on the downward movement of the body. You must notice every movement in bringing the hands and legs into position. Then resume the practice of contemplating the abdominal movements.

Should you intend to lie down, note intending. Then proceed with the contemplation of every movement in the course of lying down:lifting, stretching, putting, touching, lying. Then take as the object of contemplation every movement in bringing the hands, legs and body into position. Perform these actions slowly. Thereafter, continue with noting rising and falling. Should pain, fatigue, itching, or any other sensation be felt, be sure to notice each of these sensations. Notice all feelings, thoughts, ideas, considerations, reflections; all movements of hands, legs, arms and body. If there is nothing in particular to note, put the mind on the rising and falling of the abdomen. When sleepy, make a mental note, sleepy. After you have gained sufficient concentration in contemplating you will be able to overcome drowsiness and you will feel refreshed as a result. Take up again the usual contemplation of the basic object. If you are unable to overcome the drowsy feeling, you must continue contemplating drowsiness until you fall asleep.

This stage is the continuity of sub-consciousness. It is similar to the first state of rebirth consciousness and the last state of consciousness at the moment of death. This state of consciousness is feeble and therefore, unable to be aware of an object. When you awake, the continuity of sub-consciousness occurs regularly between moments of seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling, touching, and thinking. Because these occurrences are of brief duration they are not usually clear and therefore not noticeable. Continuity of sub consciousness remains during sleep - a fact which becomes obvious when you wake up; for it is in the state of wakefulness that thoughts and sense objects become distinct.

Contemplation should start at the moment you wake up. Since you are a beginner, it may not be possible yet for you to start contemplating at the very first moment of wakefulness. But you should start with it when you remember that you are to contemplate. For example, if on awakening you reflect on something, you should become aware of the fact and begin your contemplation by a mental note, reflecting. Then proceed with the contemplation of rising and falling. When getting up from the bed, mindfulness should be directed to every detail of the body's activity. Each movement of the hands, legs and rump must be performed in complete awareness. Are you thinking of the time of day when awakening? If so, note thinking. Do you intend to get out of bed? If so, note intending. If you prepare to move the body into position for rising, note preparing. As you slowly rise, rising. Should you remain sitting for any length of time, revert to contemplating the abdominal movements.

Perform the acts of washing the face or taking a bath in due order and in complete awareness of every detailed movement; for instance, looking, seeing, stretching, holding, touching, feeling cold, rubbing. In the acts of dressing, making the bed, opening and closing doors and windows, handling objects, be occupied with every detail of these actions in sequence.

You must attend to the contemplation of every detail in the action of eating:

  • When you look at the food, looking, seeing.
  • When you arrange the food, arranging.
  • When you bring the food to the mouth, bringing.
  • When you bend the neck forwards, bending.
  • When the food touches the mouth, touching.
  • When placing the food in the mouth, placing.
  • When the mouth closes, closing.
  • When withdrawing the hand, withdrawing.
  • Should the hand touch the plate, touching.
  • When straightening the neck, straightening.
  • When in the act of chewing, chewing.
  • When you are aware of the taste, knowing.
  • When swallowing the food, swallowing.

While swallowing the food, should the food be felt touching the sides of the gullet, touching.

Perform contemplation in this manner each time you take a morsel of food until you finish your meal. In the beginning of the practice there will be many omissions. Never mind. Do not waver in your effort. You will make fewer omissions if you persist in your practice. When you reach an advanced stage of the practice you will also to be able to notice more details than those mentioned here.

Advancement in Contemplation

After having practised for a day and a night you may find your contemplation considerably improved. You may be able to prolong the basic exercise of noticing the abdominal movements. At this time you will notice that there is generally a break between the movements of rising and falling. If you are in the sitting posture, fill in this gap with a mental note of the fact of sitting in this way: rising, railing, sitting. When you make a mental note of sitting, keep your mind on the erect position of the upper body. When you are lying down you should proceed with full awareness as follows: rising, falling, lying. If you find this easy, continue with noticing these three sections. Should you notice that a pause occurs at the end of the rising as well as at the end of the falling movement, then continue in this manner: rising, sitting, falling, sitting. Or when lying down: rising, lying, falling, lying. Suppose you no longer find it easy to make a mental note of three or four objects in the above manner. Then revert to the initial procedure of noting only the two sections; rising and falling.

While engaged in the regular practise of contemplating bodily movements you need not be concerned with objects of seeing and hearing. As long as you are able to keep your mind on the abdominal movements of rising and falling it is assumed that the purpose of noticing the acts and objects of seeing is also served. However, you may intentionally look at an object; then simultaneously make a mental note, two or three times, seeing. Then return to the awareness of the abdominal movements. Suppose some person comes into your view. Make a mental note of seeing, two or three times and then resume attention to the rising and falling movements of the abdomen. Did you happen to hear the sound of a voice? Did you listen to it? If so make a mental note of hearing, listening and revert to rising and falling. But suppose you heard loud noises, such as the barking of dogs, loud talking or shouting. If so, immediately make a mental note two or three times, hearing, then return to your basic exercise. If you fail to note and dismiss such distinctive sounds as they occur, you may inadvertently fall into reflections about them instead of proceeding with intense attention to rising and falling, which may then become less distinct and clear. It is by such weakened attention that mind-defiling passions breed and multiply. If such reflections do occur, make a mental note reflecting, two or three times, then again take up the contemplation of rising and falling. Should you forget to make a mental note of body, leg or arm movements, then mentally noteforgetting, and resume your usual contemplation on abdominal movements. You may feel at times that breathing is slow or that the rising and falling movements are not clearly perceived. When this happens, and you are in the sitting position, simply move the attention to sitting, touching; or if you are lying down, to lying, touching. While contemplating touching, your mind should not be kept on the same part of the body but on different parts successively. There are several places of touch and at least six or seven should be contemplated.

Basic Exercise IV

Up to this point you have devoted quite some time to the training course. You might begin to feel lazy thinking that you have made inadequate progress. By no means give up. Simply note the fact, lazy. Before you gain sufficient strength in attention, concentration and insight, you may doubt the correctness or usefulness of this method of training. In such a circumstance turn to contemplation of the thought, doubtful. Do you anticipate or wish for good results? If so, make such thoughts the subject of your contemplation;anticipating, or wishing. Are you attempting to recall the manner in which the training was conducted up to this point? Yes? Then take up contemplation on recollecting. Are there occasions when you examine the object of contemplation in order to determine whether it is mind or matter? If so, then be aware of examining. Do you regret that there is no improvement in your contemplation? If so, attend to the feeling of regret. Conversely, are you happy that your contemplation is improving? If you are, then contemplate the feeling of beinghappy. This is the way in which you make a mental note of every item of mental behaviour as it occurs, and if there are no intervening thoughts or perceptions to note, you should revert to the contemplation of rising and falling. During a strict course of meditation, the time of practice is from the first moment you wake up until the last moment before you fall asleep. To reiterate, you must be constantly occupied either with the basic exercise or with mindful attention throughout the day and during those night hours when you are not asleep. There must be no relaxation. Upon reaching a certain stage of progress with contemplation you will not feel sleepy in spite of these prolonged hours of practise. On the contrary, you will be able to continue the contemplation day and night.

Summary

It has been emphasized during this brief outline of the training that you must contemplate on each mental occurrence, good or bad; on each bodily movement large or small; on every sensation (bodily or mental feeling) pleasant or unpleasant; and so on. If, during the course of training, occasions arise when there is nothing special to contemplate upon, be fully occupied with attention to the rising and falling of the abdomen. When you have to attend to any kind of activity that necessitates walking, then, in complete awareness, each step should be briefly noted as walking, walking or left, right. But when you are taking a walking exercise, contemplate on each step in three sections; up, forward, down. The student who thus dedicates himself or herself to the training day and night, will be able in not too long a time, to develop concentration to the initial stage of the fourth degree of insight (knowledge of arising and passing away) {'Taruna-udayabbaya-nana - On the degrees of insight knowledge see 'The Progress of Insight' by the Venerable Mahasi Sayadaw (Published by The Forest Heritage, Kandy, Sri Lanka) } and onward to higher stages of insight meditation (vipassana-bhavana).
