Since Rockefeller-financed Kinsey and his kinky research, the arrival of the Internet and entertainment-oriented, morality-challenged, reality television, we have been subtly focused and programmed into a nation of negligible protesters who appear more concerned about what our consenting-adult neighbors are doing in the privacy of their own homes than in who our government is currently bombing. Our protestations are misdirected. We are subjected to a mostly irresponsible, complicit media and a government more intent on scrutinizing citizen behavioral patterns rather than rendering accountability to those citizens. We learned more about Clinton's sexual proclivities than his trade deals with Red China. We know the names on the guest list for Tom and Katie's wedding but have relatively little awareness about which companies give the most money to congressional candidates which determines exactly how they vote. We are also relatively unaware of the numerous deep-pocketed, big business-associated foundations and lobby organizations whose massive funding actually shapes our domestic and foreign policies. There are also government entities, like the Supreme Court, that create situations, like abortion, which generates mass response. Activist groups target clinics and doctors who perform abortions. They have even killed some doctors to prevent them from performing abortions. Hey, it was the government who said it was okay to take the life of pre-born infants. You know - that same representative (?) government whose members swore to abide by the constitution and protect the life, liberty and property of its citizens. Individuals and governments have a limited stewardship or areas of responsibility. At least that is the way it was designed to operate. As an individual I do not have the stewardship or authority to go to my gay neighbors, if I have any, and tell them how to behave. That is their business, not mine. I do not have the power. Personal moral decisions are personal! If I do not personally possess that power, I cannot legitimately give it to the government, that artificial entity created by the citizens to represent our interests and follow the Constitution, the law of the land. Citizens can only empower the government to do what they themselves have the power to do. When government oversteps those established parameters, it becomes a dictatorship or a theocracy exercising unrighteous dominion over the populace. Obviously, if the government passes questionable laws that arouse the citizen's moral outrage, it produces groups of activists who respond and act quite predictably. It is human nature for good, well-intentioned people to take action against moral injustice and problematic behavior. Believe it or not, this has all been orchestrated according to a very deliberate, satanical scheme designed to strip everyone of their liberties, resources and property! If the government can focus our attention on what our neighbors are doing, we will not question what the government is doing. I might add that they are acting in our name. We share the responsibility. Naturally, they want to keep us all ignorant and busy with the mundane. Currently there is a large, influential activist group, the American Family Association, telling us not to shop at Sam's Club or Wal-mart on Friday and Saturday. I just received an email alert that states: "Please help us get this information into the hands of as many people as possible by forwarding it to your entire email list of family and friends." "Send A Message To Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, Don't Shop With Them This Friday Or Saturday." The reason - these stores are apparently tolerant of the homosexual agenda - whatever that is. Please, don't bother emailing me about homosexual decadence. It exists; it has always existed; and it will always exist. You can't change that and neither can I. We only have the power to change our own behavior. We have minimal influence over others - just ask any parent! Even if this campaign were moderately successful, the shoppers would come out in droves following the boycott. After all, the day after Thanksgiving is one of the biggest shopping days for Christmas when we can buy all of those great mass-produced toys without ever wondering who made them. See
