Declassified FBI Letter: Nikola Tesla Was Brought To Earth From Venus

The letter mentions how Nikola Tesla successfully invented a device that could be used for Interplanetary Communication. It explains that Tesla Engineers built the device after Tesla died, in 1950, and have been, since that time in close touch with ‘Space-Ships’. Furthermore, the document from the FBI mentions how Tesla was a Venusian who was brought to Earth as a baby, in 1856 and was left in the care of Mr. and Mrs. Tesla in a mountain province in the former Republic of Yugoslavia, modern-day Croatia. Everyone loves a conspiracy, and what better conspiracy than to suggest that Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest scientific minds who ever lived on Earth was an alien. This is mentioned in a declassified document by the FBI, freely available here. Declassified documents published by the FBI in their online Vault mention a number of interesting things about Nikola Tesla. The document is […] Read More

Precog Crime Fighting: The A.I. Approach vs the PSI Approach

Do we live in dangerous times? It depends who you ask: To a neo-Hobbesian like Steven Pinker we’ve never lived more safely in all of human history,  but survivors of mass shootings might beg to differ though… One thing is for sure, and that is the approach to police work has radically changed in the last decades, thanks to modern technology. We have filled our streets with surveillance cameras which will soon be enabled with face-recognition capabilities. And DNA-testing of evidence gathered at crime scenes is even helping find culprits who might have walked free not too long ago. All of these tools are useful after a crime has been committed, but the ultimate holy grail of crime fighting is to prevent the act before it even happens. Sometimes that can be accomplished through clever investigation that prevents a plot involving several delinquents who have clumsily left a trail […] Read More

Computers Possessing Humans and Our Perception of AI

We live in an age where reliance on computers, machines, and artificial intelligence is becoming stronger and more commonplace, inescapable to the point that society would cease to function as we know it without these things. As we progress on into the future there is every indication that these artificial intelligences will continue to evolve to the point that they equal us and perhaps even surpass us. Far from strictly the realm of science fiction, this is almost a certainty at the rate we are progressing, and it is at the stage now where we are learning that we are perhaps unprepared for what we will encounter in this hazy, unexplored domain lying before us. At least one group of researchers has realized that we are approaching a time when we will be faced with advanced AI in a realistic human form, and they have gone about testing how […] Read More

Robots Will Either Kill, Enslave or Save Humans

Should we fear robots or embrace them? That question gets more difficult to answer every day as new announcements are released about robotic achievements and advances in artificial intelligence. Just in the past week we’ve seen a realistic robotic dog that can open a door and fight off a human who tries to stop it, a realistic walking humanoid robot that puts out fires, a call to equip robots with kill switches, a warning that robots will use humans as guinea pigs and a call to be cautious rather than dystopic. Which one is it? Boston Dynamics, a world leader in robotics, released two videos of one of its latest inventions – a four-legged SpotMini robot dog that can open a door with its ‘mouth’. The popular first video shows how cute the robotic pet looks as it grabs the knob without the usual canine slobber, while the second, […] Read More

First ‘Mind-Reading’ AI Can Literally See Your Thoughts

Last month, AI researchers at computing hardware manufacturer Nvidia developed a neural network which was able to ‘imagine’ scenes or images it had never seen before. This, naturally, led to a great deal of nervous hand-wringing by neo-Luddites worried that artificial intelligence will somehow make human beings obsolete or begin to distort our perception of reality in strange, terrifying new ways. Now, a team of Japanese computer scientists has taken things one step further into the nightmare realm by developing an AI that can literally see your thoughts. As usual, I just have to wonder: what could go wrong? As usual, a whole lot could go wrong. The system works by attaching to individual’s heads fMRI scanners which can detect changes in blood flow within the brain. The signals from the scanners are analyzed in real time by an incredibly advanced neural network which is then able to actually visualize […] Read More

Water-Powered Car Inventor Dies in A Restaurant Screaming ‘They Poisoned Me’

Did you know that water-powered cars have existed for years? If you didn’t, it’s probably because they haven’t been given proper media coverage. What’s even odder, their inventors were either intimidated into ceasing their work, or died under mysterious circumstances. Among the latter was Stanley Meyer, a US inventor who designed a water fuel device, claiming that any car fitted with it could run purely on water. It was believed that this vehicle could run across the USA on 22 gallons of water. Meyer specifically emphasized that tap water, purified or salt water could be used as fuel for the engine. Meyer was convinced that his work had been accepted since the Pentagon expressed interested in it and plans were being made to honour him for it. In addition, The British Advanced Energy Institute sent a delegation to study his work. They confirmed this: “We recently sent a delegation […] Read More

‘I’m A Defeated Man. I Wanted To Illuminate The Whole Earth. ” Tesla Says In Near End-Of-Life Interview

Nikola Tesla was born in Croatia and only came to the US at the age of 28. Even though his English was not perfect, he was fluent in 8 different languages: Serbo-Croatian, English, Czech, German, French, Hungarian, Italian and Latin. Linguists refer to such a person as a “hyper polyglot”, or someone who can speak more than six languages with great proficiency. The following interview dates back to 1899: Tesla: Yes, these are some of my most important discoveries. I’m a defeated man. I have not accomplished the greatest thing I could. Journalist: What is it, Mr. Tesla? Tesla: I wanted to illuminate the whole earth. There is enough electricity to become a second sun. Light would appear around the equator, as a ring around Saturn. I am part of a light, and it is the music. The Light fills my six senses: I see it, hear, feel, smell, […] Read More

Here’s How to Delete Yourself from the Internet – at the Click of a Button

In our smartphone-obsessed digital age, we effectively live our entire lives online, which makes us increasingly vulnerable to unseen threats.  Cyber crime, fraud and identity theft are exponentially growing concerns. Our personal lives, locations, and increasingly our passwords are made public online for anyone to find. If the highly invasive Investigatory Powers Bill (AKA the Snooper’s Charter) isn’t blocked, then every single digital move you make will be recorded for up to 12 months. Also, infinite junk mails. But erasing your digital trace from the World Wide Web can seem overwhelming, especially since each person has on average 1,000,000,000 preferences, passwords, subscriptions and linked accounts. So how would you go about tracking them all down? In step two Swedish developers, with the easy-assemble, Ikea-style approach.  Wille Dahlbo and Linus Unnebäck have created Deseat.me, which allows you to log in with a Google account, and immediately see which apps and services are linked to it. The genius part is, instead […] Read More

Experts Claim Earth’s Magnetic Poles Overdue to Flip: ‘Could Cause Chaos in Everything’

Scientists are only just beginning to comprehend the dramatic impact that magnetic fields have on our lives, and indeed all life on earth. And now, they fear that the poles are rapidly shifting, and could indeed flip in our lifetimes. A state of constant change, and the potential for drastic shifts, has made airline travel, communications, the electric, satellites and other infrastructure incredibly vulnerable. Some of the effects have already been experienced on a low level, and we should take heed of the warnings they give. Eerily, the very forces of electromagnetism that are used in communications, physics and other branches of science are also integral to brain function, weather patterns – and importantly, the planet’s exposure to solar radiation. Any major disruptions or alterations in this fabric around earth could undo normalcy and trigger utter chaos and destruction via Daily Mail: The alteration in the magnetic field during […] Read More

Your Brain Has What Amounts to a “Spirit Eject” Button

If someone zaps a certain area in your brain, you will experience floating out of your body. A similar effect can be obtained by transferring your self awareness into another person or object by hijacking your brain’s “this is me” body cues such as visual perception, breathing and heartbeat.  Olaf Blanke, a neurosurgeon at University Hospitals of Geneva and Lausanne, wasn’t trying to set off the sensations in his patient but was using electrical stimulation to map the activity of her brain in preparation for surgical treatment. But by recording the patient’s reactions and matching them with specific electrodes, Blanke was able to pinpoint the region where out-of-body experiences seem to originate. “We wanted [and needed] to be sure that what the patient experienced and told us was related to the actual stimulation,” says Blanke. When Blanke and colleagues activated electrodes placed just above the patient’s right ear — […] Read More
