2016: Your Zodiac Sign Has Shifted: NASA Updated The Zodiac Signs For The First Time In 2,000 Years

Astrology can be summed up as the belief that the alignment of our sun and various constellations in transit affects our lives on a fundamental level. This belief originated roughly 2000 years before the common era. Now, astronomically speaking, a few millennia is chump change – but it does make a difference. The stars are a database of information, from overcoming struggles to forming healthy relationships, to improving your character, and so much more. This knowledge has been used since ancient times in various cultures, and now it has been passed to you. NASA Updates Star Signs For The First Time In 2,000 Years The stars have shifted due to the wobbling effect of the Earth caused by the sun and the moon over the last two to three thousand years. The sky is different than what the ancient astrologers viewed. Now, the constellations are off by about a month. Therefore 86% of people are […] Read More

1940s: Russian Scientists Kept Five People Awake For 30 Days… But They Never Expected THIS To Happen.

Sleep is an absolutely vital part of our lives. Those important hours of sleep every night give us the rest we need to power through our days, and that’s why sleep deprivation can have serious repercussions on your physical and mental state. So, when Russian scientists performed an experiment (called Russian Sleep Experiment) that attempted to keep people up for weeks straight, the results were absolutely chilling. In the late 1940s, five men who were considered enemies of the state by the Russian government were chosen to take part in an experiment involving sleep deprivation. The goal was to use small doses of an experimental gas that could supposedly eliminate the need for sleep in humans. The subjects were kept in a sealed environment so that the researchers wouldn’t be exposed to the gas, and the prisoners only had microphones to communicate with. They were provided with books, a toilet and running water, […] Read More

1927: Ionospheric Memory? The Mystery of the Long-Delayed Radio Echoes

During the late 1920s, a pair of Scandinavian researchers was engaged in a unique experiment. Carl Størmer, a geophysicist and his associate Balthasar van der Pol, a physicist with the Philips Research Labs, were sending messages to one another using short wave radio, with hopes of understanding an anomaly: certain signals the men were sending appeared to have been followed by odd “echoes”, some of which arrived as much as 15 seconds later than the primary messages the researchers had sent. Størmer and van der Pol knew that these were long delays — too long, really, to be easily explained as merely being atmospheric or climatic anomalies. So what was their cause? An earlier incident had actually been what prompted Størmer to seek answers to this mystery. Earlier in 1927, an amateur radio operator named Jørgen Hals had been had been noticing odd echoes from radio transmissions near his home in […] Read More

2015: Harvard Scientists Say That There May Be An Ancient Earth Inside Earth

by Anna LeMind, The Mind Unleashed A team of Harvard scientists may have found an indication that a portion of an ancient Earth exists inside our planet’s mantle. A study presented at the Goldschmidt conference in Sacramento, California, claims that the previously inexplicable isotope ratio from the depths of the Earth may be an “echo” of the ancient Earth that existed before the collision with another celestial body, which is estimated to have led to the formation of the Moon 4.5 billion years ago. According to the authors of the study, the ratio may represent a signal from a material that existed prior to the moment of the collision. Scientists of the Harvard University led by Associate Professor Sujoy Mukhopadhyay believe that only a portion of the Earth melted as a result of the collision and that in the depths of our planet’s mantle there still exists a part […] Read More

2015: Evidence Suggests That Charles Darwin’s Theory Of Human Evolution Is Wrong

*We are aware that this is a controversial topic, with lots of information to look at. This is a tidbit, and we just wanted to express our belief that there are still many undiscovered truths to be uncovered when it comes to the *theory* of evolution. We are not suggesting that evolution did not or has not occurred in nature, because we have enough evidence to conclude that it did.  Darwin’s work was definitely well thought out, well documented, and scientifically sound, but the evolutionary process that he documented in nature may not apply to us. There is a growing body of evidence proving that Darwin’s theory does not account for the facts of human origin as they’re known today. There has been a widespread acceptance of the theory of evolution, yet no mention of the evidence which counters its claim. Instead, we’ve watched a lengthy search for physical evidence to prove it, […] Read More

2015: The Mysterious Deaths of Scientists

On June 20th 2011, a plane leaving an airport in Western Russia hit a motorway and burst into flames. Among the 45 passengers who died were 5 nuclear scientists who had been working on the highly controversial Bushehr nuclear plant in Iran. Immediately speculation mounted that the 5 scientists had been targeted because of their involvement in the Iranian nuclear program. Whilst the media talked down any type of conspiracy, this accident added another five names to the long list of scientists working in controversial areas that have died in unusual or mysterious circumstances. GEC-Marconi Between 1982 and 1988, 25 workers at the GEC-Marconi in the United Kingdom met with sometimes very unusual deaths. All 25 worked on the United States ‘Star Wars’ projects and the ‘Sting-Ray’ torpedo projects (although the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence still disputes these workers were connected to the ‘Star Wars’ project). Most workers […] Read More

2015: FDA could set millions of genetically modified mosquitoes loose in Florida Keys

KEY WEST, Fla. –  Millions of genetically modified mosquitoes could be released in the Florida Keys if British researchers win approval to use the bugs against two extremely painful viral diseases. Never before have insects with modified DNA come so close to being set loose in a residential U.S. neighborhood. “This is essentially using a mosquito as a drug to cure disease,” said Michael Doyle, executive director of the Florida Keys Mosquito Control District, which is waiting to hear if the Food and Drug Administration will allow the experiment. Dengue and chikungunya are growing threats in the U.S., but some people are more frightened at the thought of being bitten by a genetically modified organism. More than 130,000 signed a Change.org petition against the experiment. Even potential boosters say those responsible must do more to show that benefits outweigh the risks. “I think the science is fine, they definitely […] Read More

2014: Japan Releases Plans For Futuristic Underwater Cities By 2030

Do you think it’s possible for people to live in underwater cities? Although it may sound like an idea for a sequel to Christopher Nolan’s hit sci-fi film Interstellar, a Japanese construction firm says it could be a reality by 2030. The Japanese construction company Shimizu Corp announced a $25-$26 billion underwater eco-city plan called “Ocean Spiral” of 5,000 people that draws its energy from the seabed thousands of meters below. Shimizu Corp revealed a blueprint for the city of the future in Tokyo last week, claiming that Ocean Spiral will “capitalize on the infinite possibilities of the deep sea” to accommodate human life, as rising sea levels endanger the survival of island communities. The blueprint shows vast research and residential station some 10 miles in length that begins just below the sea’s surface and burrows beneath the ocean floor. The Shimizu spokesman Hideo Imamura told the Guardian: “This […] Read More
