A documentary that never aired in the U.S. theorizes that the Pan Am 103 bombing was an Iranian revenge hit. The final documentary produced by the American filmmaker Allan Francovich, The Maltese Double Cross: Lockerbie was buried by the American press upon its release in 1994.
