Things are not looking so great for President Obama these days. With his failed healthcare promises causing outrage across the nation, people are beginning to realize that he isn’t the “savior” many had thought he was going to be. In a new book titled Double Down by journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann (authors of Game Change), Obama is thrown to the forefront of controversy yet again as the book quotes Obama as saying he’s “really good at killing people” with regards to drone strikes.

The authors/journalists wrote a best-selling book on the 2008 presidential elections (Game Change) detailing the gritty innards of the fast paced and cut throat campaign. Double Down takes after its predecessor revealing the immorality that took place during the 2012 election. The book has been gaining widespread attention for its depiction of Obama as a sociopath of sorts, having legitimized drone assassination during his run as President which has killed over 4000 people. Obama is making Bush look like an amateur; drone strike numbers under Bush’s run as president add up to around 52, in comparison to the 326 strikes under Obama.

“Let us remember that the terrorists we are after target civilians, and the death toll from their acts of terrorism against Muslims dwarfs any estimate of civilian casualties from drone strikes,” Obama said.Another disturbing trend under the Obama administration is the “double tap”, in which a drone will continuously bomb the same place in quick succession to get the job done, often hitting emergency rescuers and first responders.  In 2011 an American drone strike killed an American-born 16 year old boy and 5 other civilians who were eating at an open restaurant in southern Yemen. The government has never come out and given a reason why.

The Obama regime is also known for developing the “signature strike,” a tactic in which drone operators choose targets based on patterns of ‘suspicious behavior,’ sometimes not even knowing the identities of the people being killed.  It’s almost too hard to believe in a way, like something from the script of a Hollywood movie.

Looking at all of this tyranny and destruction under the President, one has to question how these kinds of actions denote someone as a Nobel Peace Prize recipient. This story just supports the idea that politics is a glamorized pre-calculated mafia as we continue to see controversy rise around the political system. More and more people are realizing the corruption that is prevalent as the truth continues to be exposed.  Obama may be “good at killing people” but at this point his senseless bragging may be the catalyst for his long awaited downfall.
