5 Ways the U.S. Enabled the Radical Islamic State

ISIL, now the Islamic State, has become the stuff of nightmares, and the US is, at least partially, to blame. In fulfilling the terrorists’ dream — transforming into a state with an army — ISIS, now the Islamic State, has become the stuff of nightmares for much of the Middle East and the West. I almost wrote that it had become “the worst nightmare,” but I’ll reserve that for when it obtains nuclear weapons. (Wait — what?) But, to some extent, the Islamic State is a product of the United States. Here are five reasons why: 1. The general state of chaos in which the United States left Iraq with, to this day, no strong central government. 2. “The U.S. has ensured that ISIS can reinforce its fighters in Iraq from Syria and vice versa,” writes Patrick Cockburn in an excerpt from his new book posted atForeign Policy in Focus. 2014: A Three Minute Classroom Debate That Shines Light On The Real Truth About “Terrorism”

Prior to the events that transpired on 9/11, “terrorist” attacks were still taking place all over the globe. As a result, national security was increasing, and the fear of a terrorist attack was strong. It wasn’t until 9/11, however, that the idea of an extreme terrorist threat was activated, and a large portion of the world (especially North America) was put into fear/panic mode. The video below really puts things into perspective and reminds us of how important it is not to believe everything you hear in the mainstream media, especially when it comes to major global events like 9/11. Multiple events (like 9/11 unfortunately) have served as a tremendous tool that ‘woke up’ millions of people all over the world to what is really happening around the globe. Not everything is as it seems. In today’s world, for one who is truly interested in learning what is happening, […] Read More

2005: Former CIA Director Tenet Threatens Disclosures?

Friday, Sept. 2, 2005 11:00 a.m. EDT Former CIA director George Tenet, said to be the target of what the Washington Times called “a scathing report by Inspector General John Helgerson” – may go public with embarrassing disclosures about the Bush administration and its actions leading up to Sept. 11, 2001. The CIA report, prepared as the result of a 17-month investigation by a team of 11 CIA officials, blames Tenet and several top CIA officials for its failure pre-9/11 to deal with al-Qaida. But former Reagan White House aide and intelligence expert John B. Roberts II, quoting an anonymous source close to Tenet, wrote in Thursday’s Washington Times that the former chief spook has no intention of taking it lying down. The report, delivered to Congress this week, recommends punitive sanctions against Tenet, former Deputy Director of Operations James L. Pavitt and former counter-terrorist center head J. Cofer […] Read More

2006: The Al Qaeda Myth

Tom Porteous April 12, 2006 Tom Porteous is a syndicated columnist and author who was formerly with the BBC and the British Foreign Office. We now know that Al Qaeda had nothing to do with the London bombings in July 2005. This is the conclusion of the British government’s official inquiry report leaked to the British press on April 9. We now also know that the U.S. military is deliberately misleading Iraqis, Americans and the rest of the world about the extent of Al Qaeda’s involvement in the Iraqi insurgency. This was reported in The Washington Post on April 10, on the basis of internal military documents seen by that newspaper. What do these revelations tell us about the arguments of President George W. Bush and Prime Minister Blair that in Al Qaeda the “Free World” faces a threat comparable to that of the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany, […] Read More

2005: More pre-9/11 US intelligence connections to al-Qaeda exposed and spun

Special Report The spinning of the smoking guns More pre-9/11 US intelligence connections to al-Qaeda exposed and spun By Larry Chin Online Journal Associate Editor August 24, 2005—In recent weeks, two “revelations” of pre-9/11 US military-intelligence relationships with al-Qaeda “terrorists” and Osama bin Laden are being used as cannon fodder in an intensifying power struggle between rival political factions vying to seize the “war on terrorism” agenda for their own, and deepen the cover-up of 9/11. The furor over new stories involving alleged 9/11 hijacker Mohammed Atta and US-bin Laden go-between Tarik Hamdi pits spinmasters against other spinmasters—Kean 9/11 Commission supporters versus hawkish Bush-linked 9/11 Commission attackers, neocons versus neoliberals, and intelligence and law enforcement agencies are at each other’s throats again over “intelligence failures.” While the spin has dwelled exclusively around “anti-terrorism” and various red herrings, and the supposed frustration over the tracking and arrest of al-Qaeda members, […] Read More

2005: Website that carried al-Qaida claim has connections to Bush family

London Guardian | July 09 2005 http://prisonplanet.com/Pages/Jul05/090705website.html The claim of responsibility for the London attacks was first posted on one of the dozens of Islamic websites that are routinely monitored by western intelligence services. The statement, under the name of the Secret Organisation of the al-Qaida Jihad in Europe, said: “The heroic mujahideen have carried out a blessed raid in London. Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern and western quarters.” It was posted on an Arabic website, al-qal3ah.com, which is registered by Qalaah Qalaah in Abu Dhabi and hosted by a server in Houston, Texas. But two Israeli groups devoted to exposing the network of jihadist sites claim that it is connected to the London-based Saudi dissident Saad al-Faqih. Mr Faqih, who is based in Willesden, north-west London, and runs the Movement for Islamic Reform in Arabia (Mira), was designated by […] Read More

2005: FAMILY DEMANDS THE TRUTH

New inquiry may expose events that led to Pat Tillman’s death – Robert Collier, Chronicle Staff Writer Sunday, September 25, 2005 The battle between a grieving family and the U.S. military justice system is on display in thousands of pages of documents strewn across Mary Tillman’s dining room table in suburban San Jose. As she pores through testimony from three previous Army investigations into the killing of her son, former football star Pat Tillman, by his fellow Army Rangers last year in Afghanistan, she hopes that a new inquiry launched in August by the Pentagon’s inspector general finally will answer the family’s questions: Were witnesses allowed to change their testimony on key details, as alleged by one investigator? Why did internal documents on the case, such as the initial casualty report, include false information? When did top Pentagon officials know that Tillman’s death was caused by friendly fire, and why did they delay for five weeks […] Read More

2004: Al Qaeda — the Database

Shortly before his untimely death, former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook told the House of Commons that “Al Qaeda” is not really a terrorist group but a database of international mujaheddin and arms smugglers used by the CIA and Saudis to funnel guerrillas, arms, and money into Soviet-occupied Afghanistan. Courtesy of World Affairs, a journal based in New Delhi, Wayne Madsen Report can bring you an important excerpt from an Apr.-Jun. 2004 article by Pierre-Henry Bunel, a former agent for French military intelligence. “I first heard about Al-Qaida while I was attending the Command and Staff course in Jordan. I was a French officer at that time and the French Armed Forces had close contacts and cooperationwith Jordan . . . “Two of my Jordanian colleagues were experts in computers. They were air defense officers. Using computer science slang, they introduced a series of jokes about students’ punishment. “For […] Read More

The Great 911 Deception & its Reptilian Effect

In their nightmare plans for the future of humanity, 911 was meant to be a symbolic act of terror, a gateway into the nether world of humanity’s knee-jerk, flight or fight, reptilian mind. A mind based on fear and negative emotion. About a month before the US Presidential elections in 2000 I had an overwhelming sensation of a huge cloud of evil enveloping humanity. In my mind’s eye I saw a bottomless black pit into which this evil would drag us down to imprison and enslave us there for another entire cycle of the ages, to control us with an icy grip right down to the molecular level of being. This force was truly reactionary. It was anti-evolutionary, of the reptilian mind, desperate to stop humanity from moving on to a more enlightened age on this Planet. At that time, I wasn’t paying much attention to the US elections. […] Read More
