MARS AND ITS INHABITANTS (Note: The following are supposedly details of life on Mars as reported by clairvoyant Charles W. Leadbeater of the Theosophical Society when he astral journeyed to Mars about a hundred years ago.)  Charles W. Leadbeater wrote in the book Inner Life (published 1911):  The present condition of the planet Mars is by no means unpleasant. It is a smaller planet than the Earth and more advanced in age.
