2017: Huge Underwater City Discovered Near Bermuda Triangle Could Be Proof Of Atlantis

Ancient pyramid city near Bermuda Triangle could be proof of Atlantis A vast underwater city with huge pyramid structures has been discovered off the coast of Cuba, amid claims that the sunken metropolis could, in fact, be the lost city of Atlantis. The submerged complex is thought to be around 200,000 years old, with the granite structured pyramid city being located eerily close to the Bermuda Triangle, also known as the “Devil’s Triangle”. Marine geologist Manuel Iturralde analyzed samples from the site and concluded that the results were “very unusual”, and estimates that it would’ve taken around 50,000 years for the city to have sunk to the depth that it was discovered at. Iturralde, a specialist in underwater archaeology at Florida State University, stated that none of the known cultures living that far ago had the ability to build such structures, adding; “It would be cool if they were right, but it would be […] Read More

Property claims loom as issue in U.S.-Cuba normalization

Cuba will soon get an American ambassador and a full U.S. embassy in Havana for the first time in more than half a century. But on the path to normalized relations, there’s a $7 billion potential roadblock. And large U.S. corporations with big lobbying operations aren’t taking the lead on this one — individual Americans are. A group of 10 American families has hired a law firm in Alexandria, Va., to take aim at the issue of property claims in Cuba, of which there are about 6,000 certified by the U.S. government with a total value of between $7 and $8 billion, including interest. When Cuban revolutionaries seized assets owned by foreigners after the country’s 1959 revolution, the U.S. was the largest foreign investor on the island. Many Americans with Cuban assets made claims on their lost property, which then ballooned in value with interest and have been passed down through families. Before June 2015, the […] Read More

2013: Giant Sphinx Discovered Among Bermuda Triangle Pyramids

Before It’s News -Perhaps overshadowing the discoveries of the tomb of King Tut and Troy is the discovery of Atlantis. Now two bold scientists, Paul Weinzweig and Pauline Zalitzki, say they have found it. They discovered the ruins of the ancient city submerged off the coast of Cuba. In the distant past, the region was dry land, but now only the island of Cuba remains above water. The ancient city is 600 feet below the ocean and the team of researchers led by Zalitzki Weinzweig is convinced that it is Atlantis, the city lost by more than 10,000 years. Two scientists, Paul Weinzweig and Pauline Zalitzki, working off the coast of Cuba in a submersible robot, have confirmed that there is a huge city on the ocean floor. The site of the ancient city – including several sphinxes and at least four giant pyramids and other structures – is surprisingly within […] Read More

2001: ‘Lost city’ found beneath Cuban waters

Friday, 7 December 2001, 10:01 GMT A team of explorers working off the western coast of Cuba says they have discovered what they think are the ruins of a submerged city built thousands of years ago. Researchers from a Canadian company used sophisticated sonar equipment to find and film stone structures more than 2,000 feet (650 meters) below the sea’s surface. They say they still do not understand the exact nature of their discovery and plan to start a thorough analysis of the site – off the tip of the Guanahacabibes Peninsula – in January. Advanced Digital Communications is one of four firms working in a joint venture with President Fidel Castro’s government to explore Cuban waters, which hold hundreds of treasure-laden ships from the Spanish colonial era. The Conquistadors encounters with Giants

After a failed invasion of Northern Florida the Spanish conqueror and explorer Pánfilo de Nárvaez retreated back to port with a ragged bunch of restless men. More than half of his platoon had either been killed by the savage Florida jungles or were picked off by killer native attacks. Supplies had vanished, and when Narváez returned to the harbor he discovered that his ships had all disappeared. Returning to Cuba without him. He ordered the construction of four large rafts and told his fellow soldiers that this is “where New Spain ends”.  It is not known for certain where and when Narváez died. The last man to see Narváez alive and tell of it was Alvar Nuñez Cabeza de Vaca, a junior officer of the Narváez expedition. According to Cabeza de Vaca, when he asked Narváez for more food and provisions Narváez refused, basically saying “every man for himself.” The rafts took […] Read More

2012: Have we finally found Atlantis

By Dominic Utton The fabled “Lost City” of Atlantis is one of mankind’s greatest and most enduring mysteries. First written of 2,350 years ago by the Greek philosopher Plato in his works the Timaeus and the Critias, the island beneath the sea has fascinated historians, poets, and the public ever since, but has remained tantalisingly hidden, shrouded in myth, legend and exaggeration. However, a new book by acclaimed historian Andrew Collins provides for the first time a clear argument for the civilisation’s existence and a pointer to its location. Plato described Atlantis as an empire founded by the sea god Poseidon on a land mass the size of “Libya and Asia put together”. It possessed a thriving capital, with sumptuous palaces, royal courts and harbours constantly receiving vessels from all over the world. For many generations, it ruled the Atlantic Ocean as well as parts of what Plato called […] Read More

5 Reasons to Question the Official 9/11 Story

(1) While the government has consistently stated that it did not know where the aircraft were before they struck, the Secretary of Transportation testified before the 9/11 Commission that Vice President Cheney monitored flight 77 for many miles as it approached the Pentagon and — when a military man asked “do the orders still stand?” — Cheney responded affirmatively: “The plane is 50 miles out. The plane is 30 miles out.” And when it got down to, “The plane is 10 miles out,” the young man also said to the vice president, “Do the orders still stand?” And the vice president turned and whipped his neck around and said, “Of course the orders still stand. Have you heard anything to the contrary?” http://www.911truthmovement.org/video/ hamilton_win.wmv (video of testimony) (2) The tape of interviews of air traffic controllers on-duty on 9/11 was intentionally destroyed by crushing the cassette by hand, cutting […] Read More
