by David Michael Green You would not want to be George W. Bush right now. Not that you ever would anyhow, but especially not now. Indeed, there are indications that not even George W. Bush wants to be George W. Bush right now. That second term in office, the one that just a year or two ago seemed so precious that he was willing to launch a war just to obtain it, now feels like a life sentence. Plans for four years spending political capital now look a lot more like endless months of capital punishment. The Bush Administration has nowhere to go but down, and that is precisely where it is headed.
