American History of the Rothschilds and the Eight Most Powerful Families

The real power behind the United States is the Rothschild banking family, which can trace its roots to 1743 when Moses Amschel Bauer put the red hexagram above his doorway.  That was also the year his son Mayer was born in Bavaria. In 1760 Mayer would change the family name from Bauer to Rothschild after that red hexagram sign (‘Rot is German for ‘red’ and ‘Schild’ means ‘sign’). Mayer Rothschild continued his father’s money lending business and also got into the business of hiring out Hessian mercenaries to foreign countries at war, resulting in vast profits for the family. Loaning to governments directly was the logical next step, mainly because it was more profitable than loaning to individuals. After all, a nation’s taxes were much more likely to come through and pay the debt than an embattled businessman’s profits. Seeing a way to control world governments through debt, Rothschild […] Read More

5 Mind Bending Facts That Will Make You Question Everything You Thought You Knew

By Luke Miller Truth Theory Throughout history, there have been many mysteries that defy what the logical mind deems possible, with many baffling the scientific community in the process. Here I share 5 of those mind-bending facts that will have you questioning what you thought you knew about reality. Observation Changes The Outcome Of Events At The Microscopic Level Before the birth of quantum mechanics scientist, Thomas Young performed an experiment called Young’s Experiment which was later renamed the double slit experiment. This experiment not only proved that matter behaves differently on the microscopic level to the macro, but also that observation of matter at the microscopic level changes the outcome of how matter behaves.  How Quickly The Pyramids Were Built The great pyramid of Egypt’s (Khufu) has an estimated 2.5 million stones all weighing around 2.5 tons, meaning if they moved 10 stones a day it would have taken […] Read More

ISRAELI COLONEL AMONG ISIS FORCES IN IRAQ

By F. William Engdahl This was definitely not supposed to happen. It seems that an Israeli military man with the rank of colonel was “caught with IS pants down.” By that I mean he was captured amid a gaggle of so-called IS – or Islamic State or ISIS or DAESH depending on your preference – terrorists, by soldiers of the Iraqi army. Under interrogation by the Iraqi intelligence he apparently said a lot regarding the role of Netanyahu’s IDF in supporting IS. In late October an Iranian news agency, quoting a senior Iraqi intelligence officer, reported the capture of an Israeli army colonel, named Yusi Oulen Shahak, reportedly related to the ISIS Golani Battalion operating in Iraq in the Salahuddin front. In a statement to Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency a Commander of the Iraqi Army stated, “The security and popular forces have held captive an Israeli colonel.” He […] Read More

How an American Billionaire Stands in the Way of Mideast Peace

Sheldon Adelson is the Daddy Warbucks of Israel, and Benjamin Netanyahu is yet another of his beneficiaries. Everything you need to know about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress Tuesday was the presence in the visitor’s gallery of one man – Sheldon Adelson. The gambling tycoon is the Godfather of the Republican Right. The party’s presidential hopefuls line up to kiss his assets, scraping and bowing for his blessing, which when granted is bestowed with his signed checks. Data from both the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics and the Center for Public Integrity show that in the 2012 election cycle, Adelson and his wife Miriam (whose purse achieved metaphoric glory Tuesday when it fell from the gallery and hit a Democratic congressman) contributed $150 million to the GOP and its friends, including $93 million to such plutocracy-friendly super PACs as Karl Rove’s American Crossroads, the Congressional Leadership Fund, […] Read More

US helped Israel with H-bomb – 1980s report declassified

Conceding to a federal lawsuit, the US government agreed to release a 1987 Defense Department report detailing US assistance to Israel in its development of a hydrogen bomb, which skirted international standards. The 386-page report, “Critical Technology Assessment in Israel and NATO Nations,” likens top Israeli nuclear facilities to the Los Alamos and Oak Ridge National Laboratories that were key in the development of US nuclear weaponry. Israelis are “developing the kind of codes which will enable them to make hydrogen bombs. That is, codes which detail fission and fusion processes on a microscopic and macroscopic level,” said the report, the release of which comes before Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s March 3 speech in front of the US Congress in which he will oppose any deal that allows Iran’s legal nuclear program to persist. “I am struck by the degree of cooperation on specialized war making devices between […] Read More

Downgrade to ‘special status’? Fate of Arabic language at heart of Israeli nation state bill debate

Arabic could be stripped of Israel’s official second language status if a ‘tougher’ version of the controversial nation-state bill is passed. The language is already subject to discrimination, RT’s Paula Slier reports from Tel Aviv. Examples of Arabic being unwelcome in Israel are plenty, according to Dadi Komem, director of education programs at the Abraham Fund Initiatives, an NGO promoting peaceful coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians. “We see more and more working places for instance that ask their employees not to speak Arabic in front of customers, or not to speak Arabic at all, or in shopping malls,” Komem told RT. “Sometimes in the Knesset itself we hear Knesset members speaking against using Arabic in the Knesset.” Eliminating the status of Arabic as an official language is part of a nation-state law, proposed by a right-wing member of the Knesset, Zeev Elkin. If it’s passed, Arabic could be downgraded […] Read More

“Globalization Is Turning In On Itself And It Is Each Man For Himself”

From Raoul Pal, author of the Global Macro Investor and creator Of RealVisionTV At The Margin A few things are also appearing on my radar screen – future visions if you like – that I want to share with you. These are not conclusive, but rather a stream of unfiltered thoughts, which will develop over time. I virtually never use geopolitics to assess asset markets. I have learned the hard way over time that it is the way to the poor house. Economies run financial markets, not wars. But I do note that at the margin, the world’s geopolitics is changing. Gone are the fluffy days of Putin shaking hands with George Bush agreeing to keep the world supplied with oil, gone are the days of China helping US firms make profits using their cheap labour, gone are open-for-business days of Europe, gone is the Japanese military neutrality, gone […] Read More

7 Disastrous Outcomes of Our New War in the Middle East

What could go wrong in our battle against ISIS? So many things. To stay on top of important articles like these, sign up to receive the latest updates from TomDispatch.com  here. You know the joke? You describe something obviously heading for disaster — a friend crossing Death Valley with next to no gas in his car — and then add, “What could possibly go wrong?” Such is the Middle East today. The U.S. is again at war there, bombing freely across Iraq and Syria, advising here, droning there, coalition-building in the region to loop in a little more firepower from a collection of recalcitrant allies, and searching desperately for some non-American boots to put on the ground. Here, then, are seven worst-case scenarios in a part of the world where the worst case has regularly been the best that’s on offer. After all, with all that military power being brought to bear […] Read More

The Neoconservative Hit List: Iraq, Libya and now Syria? A Plan for Global US Military Supremacy

Steven MacMillan Activist Post 1997 witnessed the birth of one of the most pivotal American think tanks in modern times, whose ideas and objectives would come to shape the foreign policy of the United States (U.S.) for decades to come. The Project for a New American Century (PNAC) was founded by William Kristol, the chief of staff to Vice President Dan Quayle during the Bush senior administration, and Robert Kagan, a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institute and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). The PNAC group’s stated objectives included the desire to “shape a new century favorable to American principles and interests” along with challenging “regimes hostile to U.S. interest and values”. Prominent individuals who belonged to the think tank include some of the most influential politicians in America’s recent history, including the former U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, the Vice President of the […] Read More
