Parallel Worlds Exist And Interact With Our World, Physicists Say

New theory says parallel worlds exist and interact with our world! Quantum mechanics, though firmly tested, is so weird and anti-intuitive that famed physicist Richard Feynman once remarked, “I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics.” Attempts to explain some of the bizarre consequences of quantum theory have led to some mind-bending ideas, such as the Copenhagen interpretation and the many-worlds interpretation. Now there’s a new theory on the block, called the “many interacting worlds” hypothesis (MIW), and the idea is just as profound as it sounds. The theory suggests not only that parallel worlds exist, but that they interact with our world on the quantum level and are thus detectable. Though still speculative, the theory may help to finally explain some of the bizarre consequences inherent in quantum mechanics, reports RT.com. The theory is a spinoff of the many-worlds interpretation in quantum mechanics — an idea that posits that […] Read More

13-Year-Old Physicist Has A Mindblowing Theory On God

This young man’s theories on the universe are sure to inspire deep contemplation… Remember the name Max Loughan, for you’ll likely hear it again and again in the years to come. The 13-year-old physicist is known for his eloquent theories on God, the universe, and the bible, and his lessons  are sure to inspire some deep contemplation on life’s big questions. Not only did Loughan invent a free Tesla-inspired energy device using a coffee tin, spoon and wire (all of which cost him $15), he has developed some intriguing ideas on the universe. In the video below, he shares his latest theory on God, and it’s sure to touch your heart. Loughan says, “As cheesy as this sounds, from day one on this planet, I knew I was put here for a reason. And that reason is to invent and to bring the future. My true goal is to […] Read More

Parallel Universes: Theories & Evidence

By Elizabeth Howell Is our universe unique? From science fiction to science fact, there is a proposal out there that suggests that there could be other universes besides our own, where all the choices you made in this life played out in alternate realities. So, instead of turning down that job offer that took you from the United States to China, the alternate universe would show the outcome if you decided to venture to Asia instead.  The idea is pervasive in comic books and movies. For example, in the 2009 “Star Trek” reboot, the premise is that the Kirk and Spock portrayed by Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto are in an alternate timeline apart from the William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy versions of the characters.   The concept is known as a “parallel universe,” and is a facet of the astronomical theory of the multiverse. There actually is quite […] Read More

Parallel Universes

Parallel Universes, Parallel Worlds, Alternative History. Everybody has a opinion on it and SciFi writers have talked about for years, the problem is what do they really mean?   The Parallel universe idea is that for every possible outcome there is a parallel universe somewhere in which that timeline happened. Which means that for every thought and decision, there’s a universe where that opposite thought and decision happened.    Me myself and I all agree its reminds us of the 90’s SciFi TV Show ” Sliders ” or “Fringe” or go back to Robert Silverberg‘s awesome book “The Gate of Worlds“: the book that made me think about this at 9. Each choice spins off a new path, so follow this path and look at some of the info out there or start a new path. The CHOICE is yours! Here’s what Wikipedia has! Plausibility of Time Travel

This might seem like a subject of Science Fiction, but it encourages a lot of thought in matters both physical and philosophical. A recent paper in Scientific American discussed whether time travel is indeed feasible and why current physical and philosophical objections don’t preclude the possibility of time travel. I’ll attempt to describe how they deal with the objections here and explore the plausibility of time travel. First, relativity allows for time travel into the future: as I mentioned in a previous missive, journey at a very high acceleration and you’ll return to earth years into the future, aging only slightly. This, of course, ignores the fact that we can’t travel at such high speeds as of now; this issue will be addressed later. There is a paradox that occurs if we allow time travel into the past: to put it bluntly, could you go back into the past and prevent your […] Read More
