2015: Tomb of Osiris discovered at Luxor

He was the king of kings, the god of gods. Now archaeologists believe they have found the “tomb” of the Egyptian supreme deity, Osiris. Egyptian media is reporting two new tombs that were announced at the weekend, one of which belonged to a previously unknown queen. But it is the ominous blackened ‘tomb’ of Osiris — the god of the afterlife and reincarnation — which has attracted the most attention. It is not actually a tomb: Instead, it is a symbolic burial site used in rituals to link the god’s immortal powers to those of the ruling Pharaohs. Antiquities Minister Mamdouh al-DamAcaty said the 25th Dynasty structure (from about 700BC) at the Al-Gorna necropolis on Luxor’s west bank was modeled on a real royal tomb, with multiple shafts and chambers. The tomb consists of a transversal hall that is supported by five pillars, as well as a staircase that […] Read More

240 BC: Papyrus of Ani; Egyptian Book of the Dead

240 BC THE PAPYRUS OF ANI (THE EGYPTIAN BOOK OF THE DEAD) Translated by E.A. Wallis Budge HYMN TO OSIRIS “Homage to thee, Osiris, Lord of eternity, King of the Gods, whose names are manifold, whose forms are holy, thou being of hidden form in the temples, whose Ka is holy. Thou art the governor of Tattu (Busiris), and also the mighty one in Sekhem (Letopolis). Thou art the Lord to whom praises are ascribed in the nome of Ati, thou art the Prince of divine food in Anu. Thou art the Lord who is commemorated in Maati, the Hidden Soul, the Lord of Qerrt (Elephantine), the Ruler supreme in White Wall (Memphis). Thou art the Soul of Ra, his own body, and hast thy place of rest in Henensu (Herakleopolis). Thou art the beneficent one, and art praised in Nart. Thou makest thy soul to be raised up. 2013: Thoth, the Great God of Science and Writing

The Moon God “…Researchers of the ancient Egyptian calendar agree that the solar calendar of 360 + 5 days was not the first prehistoric calendar of that land. This ‘civil’ or secular calendar was introduced only after the start of dynastic rule in Egypt, i.e., after 3100 BC; according to Richard A. Parker (The Calendars of the Ancient Egyptians) it took place circa 2800 BC ‘probably for administrative and fiscal purposes’. This civil calendar supplanted, or perhaps supplemented at first, the ‘sacred’ calendar of old. In the words of the Encyclopaedia Brittanica, ‘the ancient Egyptians originally employed a calendar based on the Moon’. According to R. A. Parker (Ancient Egyptian Astronomy), that earlier calendar was, ‘like that of all ancient peoples’, a calendar of twelve lunar months plus a thirteenth intercalary month that kept the seasons in place.” – Zecharia Sitchin, When Time Began “…the Egyptians and the Sumerian […] Read More

2013: The Sons of God

(1) The Sumerian Watchers “…Man and his early civilizations had a profoundly different mentality from our own, that in fact men and women were not conscious as are we, were not responsible for their actions, and therefore cannot be given the credit or blame for anything that was done over these vast millennia of time; that instead each person had a part of his nervous system that was divine, by which he was ordered about like any slave, a voice or voices which indeed were what we call volition and empowered what they commanded and were related to the hallucinated voices of others in a carefully established hierarchy.” “…The astonishing consistency from Egypt to Peru, from Ur to Yucatan, wherever civilizations arose, of death practices and idolatry, of divine government and hallucinated voices, all are witness to the idea of a different mentality than our own.” “The gods were […] Read More

2686 – 2160 BC: The Nightmarish Underworld

The Pyramid Texts “The Pyramid Texts were a collection of Egyptian mortuary prayers, hymns, and spells intended to protect a dead king or queen and ensure life and sustenance in the hereafter. The texts, inscribed on the walls of the inner chambers of the pyramids [from c. 2686-c. 2160 BC]., are found at Saqqarah in several 5th- and 6th-dynasty pyramids, of which that of Unas, last king of the 5th dynasty, is the earliest known. The texts constitute the oldest surviving body of Egyptian religious and funerary writings available to modern scholars.” – Encyclopedia Britannica The Pyramid Texts “represent the only large corpus of religious texts set down during the Old Kingdom. With the exception of the hetep-di-nisut prayer, private tombs contained neither religious texts nor representations of gods. Contact with the gods was the prerogative of the king.” – Jaromir Malek, In the Shadow of the Pyramids “In […] Read More

Yarker’s Introduction to the Golden Tractate

For the sake of accuracy, we have typed the Introductory Essay verbatim, in every respect. With Bro. Yarker’s statement regarding the Rosicrucian Societies, those who are well informed on the subject will take issue and it is clear to members of the Fraternity who have investigated the historical side of the Fraternity that Bro Yarker was not only badly informed in this particular area but also that he berates with a decided pro-Masonic leaning, conveying the idea that the Rosicrucians were a sort of appendage of Freemasonry whereas we have every reason to believe that Freemasonry owes its origin to the Rosicrucian Brotherhood. – Frank Modica. Introduction. In order to form a just estimate of the following Treatise, attributed to Hermes Trismegistus – as the Greeks termed Thoth – it will be necessary to consider that in all time there have been two opposing schools of science, or, as […] Read More

HORUS, ANUBIS, OSIRIS, & THOTH

HORUS (Hor, Heru, Her) Symbols: hawk/falcon, bull, Double Crown, Winged Disk, Udjat, Sphinx, weapons, iron, blacksmiths Cult Center: Edfu, Buto and Heliopolis Myths: Isis and Osiris The falcon-headed god, the kings of Egypt associated themselves with Horus. Horus was among the most important gods of Egypt, particularly because the Pharaoh was supposed to be his earthly embodiment. Kings would eventually take the name of Horus as one of their own. At the same time, the Pharaohs were the followers of Re and so Horus became associated with the sun as well. To the people, this solar deity became identified as the son of Osiris. Attempts to resolve the conflicts between these different gods in different parts of Egypt resulted in at least fifteen distinct forms of Horus. They can be divided fairly easily into two groups, solar and Osirian, based on the parentage of the particular form of Horus. […] Read More

Secrets of the Subterranean Cities

World Ascension Network Recently, America watched Stephen Spielberg’s TV pilot, a remake of Verne’ s “Journey to the Center of the Earth.” A maverick team of scientists aboard their melt-proof ship enter the inner Earth through a bubbling volcano. When things cool off, they find themselves exploring a vast and sunny inner landscape . . . a magical and inviting world with ample room to fly. Their adventure resembles the real life account of a Norwegian sailor named Olaf Jansen. His story, set in the 1800s, is told in Willis Emerson’s biography entitled “The Smoky God.” Olaf’s little sloop drifted so far north by storm that he actually sailed into a polar entrance and lived for two years with one of the colonies of the Agartha Network, called “Shamballa the Lesser.” He describes his hosts as those “of the central seat of government for the inner continent . .
