2014: Satanic Displays Going Up in Michigan and Florida to Counter Nativity Scenes

Satanic displays will be going up at Statehouses in Michigan and Florida this Christmas season.  The Florida Department of Management Services approved the display in Tallahassee from the Satanic Temple after rejecting it last year as “grossly offensive.” The satanic display will be put up in the first-floor rotunda of the Capitol for the holiday period beginning on December 22. In Michigan, the Detroit chapter of the same satanic group sought and won approval to put up its exhibit as a counter to the Christian Nativity. Officials approved the display after the Capitol staff consulted the state attorney general’s office. It’s a First Amendment right,” said Michigan Capitol Facility Director Dan Brocklehurst. A Christian Nativity will be erected on the Capitol grounds beginning on Friday morning and the Satanic Temple’s display will go up on Sunday. Back in Florida, Festivus, a non-commercial festival “for the rest of us,” will […] Read More

Genesis Revisited

THE SISTINE CEILING 1508 – 1512 THE CREATION OF ADAM (1511) On the vault of the Sistine Ceiling, Michelangelo painted nine scenes from Genesis, of which the most famous is THE CREATION OF ADAM. Here, the listless body of Adam is about to be animated by the spirit of God at the gentle touch of their fingertips. This potent image may have been suggested by the Latin hymn VENI CREATOR SPIRITUS, in which God restores strength and courage to the weakened flesh with a touch of his finger. The Creation of Adam (Photo credit: Wikipedia) The Adam – A slave to the gods The story of Adam & Eve is widely misunderstood by both the Christian community and Evolutionists. Many people actually think that the entire human race stemmed from just two individuals named Adam & Eve. Evolutionists claim that we all originated from a “soup,” while Christians fail […] Read More

2000: Freemasonry The worship of Lucifer, SATAN 3

Rituals of Freemasonry Freemasonry Proven To Worship Satan As It Adores And Worships The Serpent SERPENT WORSHIP IN FREEMASONRY The Serpent is a very important symbol within both Freemasonry and Christianity. It was also important in ancient civilizations. It shouldn’t be a shock to you to learn that Freemasonry worships the Serpent. Most pagan groups have done this for the past 5,000 years. Remember the Serpent in Eden? Albert Pike speaks greatly about the importance of the worship of the serpent in Morals & Dogma in the various pagan mysteries’ religions of antiquity. You will recall that on another page Pike was quoted saying that, “Masonry is identical to the ancient Mysteries,” which means that all their teachings in all their books are precisely the same as the Ancient, Pagan, Satanic Mysteries. “The serpent entwined around the egg, was a symbol common to the Indians, the Egyptians, and the […] Read More

2000: Freemasonry: The worship of Lucifer, SATAN 1

From the Analogy (“The Matrix”) page you learned that certain Masonic authors praise Lucifer. And it doesn’t stop there. It extends to their symbolism as well. It is important to STRESS that not all Masons worship Lucifer, only the top 5% do. A majority of this page on Freemasonry was taken from Masonic books that were published by Masonic Publishing Companies. Most of these writings were kept secret. Biblical admonition has been taken carefully, comparing Masonic teachings to the Holy Bible. In I John 4:1, we read: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try (test) the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” We see that any religious teaching that does not conform to Scripture is from a “false prophet.” Many people still do not understand the importance of studying this subject to its logical conclusion. Their spiritual freedom is […] Read More

1989: SECRETS ILLUMINISM in the Ozarks

by NORMA COX TRUTH Illuminism is a word which to Illuminists means enlightenment which thereby spurs worship of the sun without which life on the face of Earth could not exist. Worship of the sun means adoration of Lucifer. A god of many names, among the best known, are Ammon-re, Helios and Apollo. There is more to the duties of Lucifer, the Sungod, than guiding the movement of the sun and maintaining its exact position among the planets of the system, there is also the operation of massive equipment which, within the globe, sheds light and heat upon the surface of the planet. Lucifer continues to be equated with Satan, which is unfortunate as such an assumption further confuses a situation entangled in a mass of misconceptions. Mythology is a maze of distortions, yet there is truth blended therein, which brings up the proposition that Lucifer might have come from […] Read More

A Note On Eliphas Lévi

[To the Editor of “The Theosophist.”] Madam, – Since you have published a posthumous letter of my master and beloved friend, the late Éliphas Lévi, I think it would be agreeable to you to publish, if judged suitable, a few extracts of the many manuscripts in my possession, written expressly for, and given to, me by my ever regretted master. To begin with, I send you “Stray Thoughts on Death and Satan” from his pen. I cannot close this letter without expressing the deep indignation aroused in me by the base diatribes published in the London Spiritualist against your Society and its members. Every honest heart is irritated at such unfair treatment, especially when proceeding from a man of honour as Mr. Harrison (editor of The Spiritualist) who admits in his journal anonymous contributions that are tantamount to libels. With the utmost respect, I remain, Madam, Yours devotedly, – […] Read More

Is the Desire to ‘Live’ Selfish?

The passage, “to Live, to Live, TO LIVE must be the unswerving resolve,” occurring in the article on the Elixir of Life, published in the March and April Numbers of Vol. III of the Theosophist, is often quoted, by superficial readers unsympathetic with the Theosophical Society, as an argument that the above teaching, of occultism is the most concentrated form of selfishness. In order to determine whether the critics are right or wrong, the meaning of the word “selfishness” must first be ascertained. According to an established authority, selfishness is that “exclusive regard to one’s own interest or happiness; that supreme self-love or self-preference which leads a person to direct his purposes to the advancement of his own interest, power, or happiness, without regarding those of others.” In short, an absolutely selfish individual is one who cares for himself and none else, or, in other words, one who is […] Read More

My Books

My Books Some time ago, a Theosophist, Mr. R_____, was travelling by rail with an American gentleman, who told him how surprised he had been by his visit to our London Headquarters. He said that he had asked Mdme. Blavatsky what were the best Theosophical works for him to read, and had declared his intention of procuring Isis Unveiled, when to his astonishment she replied, “Don’t read it, it is all trash.” Now I did not say “trash” so far as I remember; but what I did say in substance was: “Leave it alone; Isis will not satisfy you. Of all the books I have put my name to, this particular one is, in literary arrangement, the worst and most confused.” And I might have added with as much truth that, carefully analysed from a strictly literary and critical standpoint, Isis was full of misprints and misquotations; that it […] Read More
